About this house rental

Our family beach house conveniently located 75 yards from the beach will be the perfect vacation spot for you and your family or friends! We are located in a gated community in Surfside Beach, SC. Our house sleeps 9 people comfortably; 2-queen beds, 1-full bed, 1-twin bed and 1-queen pullout couch - linens are not provided. We have 1.5 baths that include an outdoor shower - towels are not provided. A large sun room located off the living room. Cable and WiFi are included. Parking is limited to three-car parking but there is an overflow lot in the community available for additional cars, boats or trailers.

Community pools and activities for both adults and kids are available: 2 outdoor pools with kids splash pad, baby pool and hot tub and 1 indoor pool with baby pool. Playground, basketball/volleyball/tennis/bocce courts are all available.

Close to all shopping and restaurants along the Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach. Everything you need for your family vacation getaway!

The home came with umbrella, chairs, and beach toys! Pictures to this place do not do justice! The microwave stopped working and the owner was over in less than 30 mins! Such a sweet couple that own it! Thank you so much for letting my family stay here:) looking forward to staying here again!

The house was super clean and looked just liked the pictures did online. Communication was a breeze throughout our stay with the owner. The beach is sooo close it wasn’t a big hassle trying to get all the kids to the beach (we have 5 ). The community was great too had the pools and splash pad and a park all right there which was great for our family with young kids. My kids loved this house it really was a great fit for us!! We would definitely stay here again it’s a great find!!

We had a wonderful time staying here and it was in the perfect location with a short walk to the beach. There was an issue with the refrigerator and the owner was prompt and went above and beyond by buying and delivering a new fridge the same night and bringing ice and coolers to ensure we didn't lose any food. I do recommend purchasing a gate key to enter from all gates. We will definitely stay here again!

This place was amazing! My daughter, Daughter-in-law and 4 grand daughters joined me on this trip... Perfect location, perfect rental! Girls had a blast!! Will definitely rent again!

We had plenty of room, enjoyed the double living rooms, outdoor shower and community outdoor pool. Pretty clean, recliner was broke and toilet paper roll fail off wall & only one roll of tp for the week. The community Indoor pool is not usable because it’s currently under construction we believe & it’s seems for a while. We were not aware that we had to purchase a gate key card to enter this gated community which would have been nice to know $20 btw you do get $10 back if you turn in at end of your stay lol Owner of property was very nice & easy to get ahold of, have a nice time just didn’t care for the tightness of this little community Beach was very close, right across the road, we wanted to rent a golf cart but outside rentals aren’t allowed in this gated community which we didn’t know until we asked.

From the moment of booking throughout the stay Linda was an excellent host! The home was exactly as described and very comfortable and roomy enough for our family of 9. Everything needed was available including boogie boards, chairs kitchen supplies etc. The location couldn't have been better! Right across the street from the beach. You could hear the waves while relaxing on the porch it is that close. The community the home is in is beautiful and everyone was very welcoming. Close to everything including grocery store, shops, restaurants and the pier. Couldn't have asked for a better place for our family vacation 😊 Already looking at booking next year!

We absolutely loved our stay at this house. We specifically enjoyed the two separate sitting areas. They both had TVs and this allowed my son to play video games in the evening while we watched tv in the same general area. The beds were comfortable and the house smelled really nice when we came in. The location to the beach was unbelievable! We will be booking again!

When we arrived the the office only gave us one parking pass but we called the owner she she got right on it and we had the pass within 45 mins. But other than that it was an amazing experience. The house was everything we needed all the amenities and the beach access couldn’t have been more perfect, plus there was all the beach chairs, toys etc outback in the shed. We definitely will be back every year to stay at this property. There was 7 of us and we all fit perfectly with more room to spare. Thank you Linda for allowing us to enjoy your beach house!

I loved the amenities. There were so much for the kids of all ages right in the community. The beach was literally right there. The main strip was a couple of minutes away and there was everything there. Everything was so easy. It was just perfect.

Linda was great to work with and the house was perfect for our needs. There were 9 people total (2 kids under 10, 1 teen and 6 adults) and we all fit comfortably (we did bring a cot and air mattress for the littles). The close proximity to the beach was a huge bonus!! We come every summer and would definitely stay here again!

The gated property is located in a great location near the beach. The house was cozy and clean. We rented a golf cart (worth the extra money) for easy access to amenities. Grocery store nearby. Great neighborhood to walk in or ride around, very neat and clean. Good roads. We felt safe at all times. The grandchildren had a blast. The host was friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great week!

The house was just as advertised and so close to the beach! We had not made arrangements to rent a golf cart but wished we had. It would have been nice for trips to the pools and recreation areas. For the beach trips, we just walked across the street! The house was clean and sanitized! (extra sanitizer was sitting around everywhere ) We all enjoyed the outside shower and the kids loved the fireworks every night. There were a total of 7 of us - 4 adults & 3 kids and we had plenty of room. Kitchen was small but we had what we needed to cook several meals! Linda was great to work with!

We had a wonderful time at Family Tides. It was the perfect location for our family of 7. Linda is an amazing host and so quick to respond to any questions we had.The house was so clean, warm and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and dishes. The two sitting areas are awesome and we enjoyed late night UNO games every night around the table. The beach is literally a hop, skip and a jump away. We did rent a golf cart, which was perfect for our teenagers to cruise around on. We can’t wait to come back.

Loved the setup of the house! Although we had 5 adults and 4 children (6 months - 7 years), we did not feel like we were on top of each other. So many provided kitchen needs and beach needs - will definately lighten the packing for next year! Linda quickly responded to all my questions very quickly! Looking forward to visiting again in 2021

We had a group of 7 & wanted to make sure there was room for everyone without being on top of each other. This house was perfect! We love the 2 “living room” areas (living room & sun room), and the amount of beds/rooms. The befs were comfortable as well. The outdoor shower was very private. The house is extremely close to the beach, you can even see a bit if water from the front porch! You are close to everything, yet have a quiet community feel. There is a hose right outside the front porch area to rinse off yourself & everything after a day at the beach. There was enough kitchen ware to cook with & a starter set of tp, paper towels & hand soap. Owner was very responsive, quick & kind. 10/10 will come back!

Our family enjoyed staying at this beach house. The ocean was just across the street! There was plenty of room for the kids to play in the living room open to the sun room. Everything you need is already there, so pack light. Linda was great and answered text right away. I miss the sun shinning in already :)

Linda provided everything needed to enjoy our vacation. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was extremely close to the beach, which was amazing! We were able to rent a golf cart make good use of the pools and community center. The neighborhood was nice and quiet too. We loved being in a gated community. We also loved the location as it was a short drive to Broadway at the Beach as well as Murrell's Inlet.

The property was exactly as described and everything worked great. The proximity to the beach and the delicious Conch Cafe is so convenient, basically a walk across the road. The neighborhood is quiet and we loved the view of the beach from shaded front porch. We also enjoyed the outdoor community pools. We would definitely come back again.
