It's very close to the center. The host was kind and helpful. The room is clean and tidy.

The location is great: Quite street close to the bus station and the centre. The window blinds are great, and the AC worked well too. The apartment was also quite spacious. Antonio is a very nice available host.
We didn't know that our room won't be cleaned/ we won't get new hygiene products each day. Two tiny bags of body wash was not enough for two days for 2 adults. The shower was the smallest one I have seen in my entire life and the water temperature kept changing.
The TV was as small as a computer screen, but that wasn't a big deal for us.
Early in the morning there was loud chatter on the corridor for quite long.

It's a lovely small B&B! Our room was clean and, though not big, it was enough for my friend and me. The bathroom was clean and equipped with the basics. There is a small balcony with a drier for your beachwear.
The host is very nice and, if asked, he will give you recommendations of places to see in the area. He made coffee for us at breakfast every morning :)
The Whale is located in a residential area, so it's quiet but still within walking distance from the old centre (12 min walk) or the beaches (the nicer one are farther away - 30 min walk).
There are no designated parking places but there is free parking on the street (if you're lucky to find one).
this isn't really a minus, but worth mentioning that breakfast is only croissants, toast, yogurt and jam/butter, bit of cereal. It's ok for a morning snack and very convenient, but don't expect much.

-very kind host
-good breakfast
-spacious room full of light
-good wifi
-comfy bed
-balcony in the room!
-super clean
-we could park right on the street (October)
-cat visitor on the breakfast 🙂
-further from the city center so more authentic restaurants and cafes around
-it is a bit walk to the city centre but nothing dramatic and offers other advantages (as described above)

This place is in a rather quiet residential area, but still within walking distance from the old town. There are also some supermarkets less than 200m away.
This is not a hotel, so power is not turned off when you leave the room. Not sure why people still put up with this nonsense anyway.
In order to remind you that Sardinia is rather mountainous, the rooms are on the 3rd floor.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to eat in your room as anything you need is in the breakfast room only. The owner thinks he runs some kind of summer camp and provides breakfast only from 08:30 to 09:30. No kidding. To add insult to injury, he may also lock the breakfast room for the rest of the day.
There is a small refrigerator in the room, but it may not have cooled down yet when you arrive. Even if it has, it won’t be very cold, something that we observed elsewhere in Sardinia, too.
There is a large closet in the room, but apparently not large enough to hold a blanket, so you’re left with thin linen until you ask. This may be a lame attempt to make you turn off the aircon at night.
WiFi in our room was rather weak, so don’t forget your own WiFi extender. Of course, this doesn’t matter if the WiFi fails completely, which it did for one day.
The joke of a bathroom has enough room for a shower cell sized 70x70cm. Unfortunately, the actual shower cell doesn’t take advantage of it, measuring only 60x60cm. This gets even funnier when you consider there is next to no room to put your shower gel etc, other than on the floor. Looks like the Sardinian way is to provide so-called amenities in the form of samples, which they know aren’t going to be opened, but fit in the shower caddy. The air exhauster sounds broken and is way too loud.
None of the above needs to be that way, but this is Sardinia.
Not their fault: parking is available, but depending on time of day, may be hard to find and distant. Mark the spot using GPS if unfamiliar with the area. Actually, if you have a car, do yourself a favor and get a room outside of the city.

Antonio was absolutely kind and available. The b&b location is perfect to reach the city centre by foot within 10 minutes.
In the room there are TV, air conditioning and fridge which are very helpful in summer hot days. I would really recommend it!

The place is quiet and really clean. The rooms are spacious enough and we didn´t have any issues with the owner. The breakfast is great and the owner takes a good care of his guests. The location is 10-15 minutes from the city centre which is not bad. Definitelly would recommend this place and it is so far the best one in this location for value for the money.
Will come back definitelly!

Recommendation: You have to try the delicious pizza at the pizzeria around the corner.

Breakfast was very good (ham, cheese, butter, jam, croissants) and I had a good coffee (Kimbo pods).
The B&B is situated in a quiet area, near the historical center (10 minutes walk)
Room was spatious and very clean, the bed comfortable.
Good communication with the hosts, which recommended me a good fish restaurant and a place for scuba diving.
Overall, a good experience and a place to come back.
Thank you, Luisanna and Antonio.
A microwave could be useful.
