About this apartment rental

This apartment is a 1,600 SF flat with a separate, secure entrance with dedicated free off-street parking. There is a full kitchen with large refrigerator, stove, microwave oven and dishwasher. A separate eating area has plenty of seating for 9 people. The apartment has 4 bedrooms: three bedrooms with a queen bedroom sets with plush mattress and a 4th bedroom with a full/twin bunk bed set with Serta mattresses. The linens are softest available to pamper you when away from home and extra firm or soft pillows are available in the bedrooms along with extra pillows in each bedroom. The bathroom has an over-sized whirlpool tub for your enjoyment. There is also a half bath. The living room has a 42" smart flat-screen TV, and a large open area for seating. The TV is connected to Verizon Fios cable. Netflix is available through the Fios Menu. There is central air conditioning for those warmer summer days with a dedicated thermostat for this apartment. The property also has a large gazebo with table, chairs and a swing, a BBQ grill (see owner before use).

Uber and Lyft ridesharing are now available in western New York.

March in Buffalo can be wild weather. This rental had plenty of hot water, HVAC and very comfy beds. This was our third stay and it is always quiet, clean and very well located. Our host always takes great care of us.

This was the best Air B & B we have ever stayed at. The owner was very accommodating and provided little personal touches like helping us carry our bags, and left us homemade banana bread and breakfast items for us! Beds were comfortable and bedrooms were very good sized! Would definitely stay here again!

This unit was perfect for our trip up from Maryland for a family event. Plenty of room and cozy and comfy. The fresh banana bread was delicious and the kitchen well stocked, which was unexpected and pleasant surprise! We will definitely stay here next time we come up for a more leisurely visit when we aren't rushing around to obligations and can enjoy the unit and the gardens - which looked beautiful! We highly recommend!!

This was our 2nd time staying here. The kitchens in both units were very dirty and there was moldy coffee in the coffee pot when we arrived. When we spilled water on the kitchen floor and wiped it up, the paper towel was black. We didn't say anything when we arrived, but when the owner texted me about something after we left, I expressed how dirty the kitchens were and the moldy coffee. He maintained they were spotless before we arrived. He also accused us of some things that make me think he has hidden cameras in the house. Will not stay again.

This is my second time staying at this property and once again my stay and experience were exceptional. The owner clearly takes pride in his property and his guest experience. This will be my go to property every time I am back in the area. Thank you Steve!

Steve was a great host even as our dates and group number changed prior to our arrival. Steve responded in a very timely manner to all our inquiries. Parking was right across the street from the unit. We used his garage to assemble and securely store our bikes. The fourth bedroom was a plus when we had a last minute addition to our group. Would stay here again when we get back to the Buffalo area in the future.

We stayed here while moving our son to college in nearby Hamburg, NY. Pat and Steve were awesome hosts, they were very responsive and helpful. They left us homemade bread, orange juice, and eggs. The location for us was great, close to Buffalo, Niagra Falls, and Hamburg.

We were very happy with our stay. Everything was well cared for and as described (or better). Honestly the pictures don't do the property justice, it is very nice inside. The hosts were excellent, very responsive, kind and thoughtful. We did a day trip into Niagara Falls, and a day trip to Woodlawn State Park, both were easily accessible from the location. Highly recommend.

Nice rose garden parking lot right across the street from accomodations. We would like to return to the area in the future to explore more and would definitely stay here again.

The most important aspect of renting a home instead of a hotel for us is having a working kitchen to feed a big family. The property was well-stocked with baking dishes, pots, pans, a collander, cutting board, knives that were sharp enough to cut vegetables, and tons of plates, bowls, mugs, and glasses. The owners even even left some breakfast items and coffee for us. Additionally, the beds were very comfortable and the living room area was a nice place to sit together and play chess. The home was very clean as well. People with mobility issues should know that the only shower is into a very tall-sided jacuzzi bath tub (higher than my knees) that my 7-yr-old had difficulty getting into. The kids loved the jacuzzi though - it's not something they'd ever encountered before on our travels.

Steve was wonderful, we were late getting in and he was still cheerful and happy to greet us and help us settle in. Always welcome was a pan of fresh warm brownies he handed us for a much needed b snack before bed. The property was beautiful and incredibly comfortable, roomy and clean. The jacuzzi tub was wonderful and worked great. At 1600sf there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. They provided games, toys and crafts for our little girls and a steady supply of home baked banana bread! There is free guest laundry and only 25 minutes from the falls and downtown getting to the action is quick and easy. No need to look anywhere else if we come back to buffalo, Steve has my business

What a wonderful 3 day stay at Steve's place in Lackawanna. Steve's communication was thorough. He was there to greet us upon arrival and quickly show us the apartment and answer questions. The apartment is very large and wonderfully decorated. The pictures do not do it justice!!!!. The apartment was meticulous. The added touches such as home made banana bread, refreshements, breakfast items and area brochures were the icing on the cake. This will become an annual trip for us. See you next year Steve. Thank you!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Steve's property. I have a hard time though getting upstairs so I have to remember that for my next rental. The beds were amazingly comfortable! One of the best part of the stay.

Steve and Pat were consummate hosts. Check in was easy, the place was clean and well stocked. We were greeted with fresh banana bread, too! Some friends and I came into town for the weekend for a bike race. The location was perfect. We will be back!

My family really liked this property. Apartment was bigger than I expected. There was plenty of room for the entire family. The owners provided snacks and some breakfast food items which was great. The beds all slept well and there was plenty of hot water for all 5 of us!

We have rented many, many VRBO’S over the years. This was one of the best!!! I’ll give the highlight: Great parking lot across the street with lovely garden and tables/chairs/swing to relax and have a drink. Absolutely gorgeous and very spacious apartment…the size of a small house! 3 of the bedrooms have queen beds!! The 4th bedroom are bunks and great set up for kids! Dinn no ing room and kitchen beautiful….a freshly baked loaf of banana bread on the dining table was delish!! Loved this touch! Large bathroom was perfect for us! Loved the decor…the hosts are travelers and so enjoyed that they have shared their southwest travels with their guests. The night sky on the ceiling in the living room was extra special and a wonderful “find” in the apartment!! We loved it!!! We were home visiting family, but plenty of info in the foyer for things to do and places to eat in the area. Steve was super easy to communicate with and always promptly responded to my questions. It’s a 5 star review, but if I could give more stars I would!!! We look forward to staying there again when we come home to the Buffalo area.
