You can’t get any closer to the ocean than at SeaGlass Cottage, which seems to float above a dynamic section of Bella Beach--you’ll be in awe at the presence of the Pacific below you. This large home’s classic white board-and-batten walls and ceilings, casual, clean décor, large windows, beautifully proportioned rooms and the ever-present ocean make it the ideal retreat. The feel is as cool, shimmery and beautifully informal as a piece of sea glass.
You enter SeaGlass Cottage through a charming wooden arch and boardwalk, a hint at the timeless, relaxed feeling of this home. The entry way will confirm that you’ve arrived in a classic beach cottage with a difference: lots of sunlight, the sound of waves and a view through to the ocean but with all the modern amenities.
A sun-filled great room faces the ocean and includes a casual seating area with flat-screen TV and a large dining table. It adjoins an enormous granite-topped galley kitchen equipped with a professional gas range, indoor grill, cooking equipment and not one, but two granite breakfast bars.
A main- level bedroom has a flat-screen TV and an adjoining bath. Two of the upstairs bedrooms feature beds from which you can enjoy tremendous ocean views; each also has a flat-screen TV. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a large sitting area overlooking the ocean and an adjoining deck with large hot tub. Upstairs, an adorable bunk room will delight younger guests, and so will a secret closet playroom complete with table, chairs, games and books. Dirty, broken down furniture, one room and towels smelt like urine. House to be refurbished and all new furniture. Only positive was great location.

We loved loved loved this property!! Loved how we could watch our older kids from the house play on the beach. The house fit us perfectly. We had a hard time leaving. One of the funnest trips we have taken.

The house is beautiful but might need some updates. Great view, nice bedrooms. Enough plates, glasses, etc. The dishwasher leaked water all over the floor and apparently the property management company knew about this. No hot tub key-had to call to get one delivered. Only 1 small, sample size dishwashing liquid for a house that holds 14. Some bathroom sinks draining very slowly. Wrong coffee filters provided, no hand soap in 2 of the bathrooms. Towels in the dryer.

We went with some friends to have a weekend away for my birthday, and the house was perfect. The weather was terrible, but we got to sit and watch the crashing waves through the amazing picture windows right over the beach!

Very nice home , Great views, Nice hot tub, lots of amenities. I couldn't find the electric hand mixer only the beaters . So we ended up using the blender to make a Birthday cake . The Oven is high tech and we couldn't quite get it to heat right so we used the BBQ it's awesome! And the stove top. This was a fun stay we enjoyed the Pool table ,The fire place at night and so many cozy soft blankets . The beds were exceptionally cozy as well. I would stay here again.

You could smell a strong pet odor upon entering the house. The main level bedroom had a strong pet urine odor. The garage door opener did not work. The front door lock did not work upon checkout. The photos were great, the house was not. The location was perfect, as was the view. We would NOT rent the house again.

What a delightful and comfy home RIGHT on the water! It was so nice to wake up every morning and see endless blue ocean right out the three huge master bedroom windows! For our group the house was roomy enough for everyone to have their own privacy when needed. The kitchen was great-but could definitely use some more pepper and pantry basics like flour, sugar, etc.
The parking was also a bonus because we had two large pickups that would NOT be able to park in a garage or tiny parking spots.
I loved being able to text questions and appreciated responses from the guest services. You guys are ON TOP of it!!
I would also like to note that every single window and door opens and closes properly! (We’ve stayed at countless rentals and normally they are not so great!) I believe there are two curtains/blinds that could use repair and the only cleaning spray we could find was one small bottle of vinegar spray. Oh yes! The washing machines were mold and mildew free, another quirk I always notice! As we were checking out I found a bathtub mat to prevent slipping in the upstairs bathroom to the right of the tub in a laundry hamper :) someone in our group said the main floor tub is slick and could definitely use that!

Amazing location. We saw all sorts of sea life boats and surfers from the windows. Beautiful house, as described. We had a minor issue with the plumbing when we arrived and it was taken care of promptly. The neighborhood was quiet and clean. Thank you for a lovely vacation.
