About this villa rental
Villa Themis' location is so privileged cause one that lives here has equal access to Naxos town to the beaches and to mainland villages as well!
This house was built by our aunt Themis and used as her holiday resort. Her ''hideaway''.
Since she lived in New York City for most of her life because she had married her husband, she needed to spend all of her summer holidays in her home town. So she chose her family land to build this villa _383 m2 _ which we inherited after her pass away in 2016.
Since this villa lived great moments, we didn't like the idea of it remaining closed and abandoned. So this year we renovated in order to rent it as it is.
The character and style remained as it was, with most of the furniture that our aunt brought from New York, the Naxos' marble floors, her own paintings that she drew her self, all over the house_ she was a fanatic artist!
The building had a carefully designed construction in order to be environment friendly, as much as possible.
There is very good insulation of the roof and the whole house's floors that are made of Naxos' marble, so it is really cool inside during summertime! In that way, it was possible for us to use in the bedrooms and in the living room, ceiling fans, remote-controlled, to cool the air of the villa, pleasantly and healthy!
For those that may need extra cool the indoor temperature, there are air condition units in the upper floor's bedroom, although we try to keep our travel sustainability level high by taking care of the reserves of nature...
Villa Themis consists of 6 bedrooms with closet and each one with its own bathroom. One of them is the master bedroom with a walk-in closet and Jacuzzi in its large bathroom!
There are also two kitchens, a dining room, a living room with a fireplace, another living room with satellite tv, the studio- atelier. Laundry room, 2 more wc. Large verandas all around the villa, outdoor pool. Pools bathroom with shower.
Barbeque area with pergola.
The location is a paradise itself, for those who seek for peacefulness, privacy, lots of trees and flowers!
In our picturesque land full of orange and mandarine trees, which belong to our family from our grandfather, three little Byzantine aged churches are located which are dated back to the 8th century!
Moreover, Paleologos Tower is just opposite our villa and Bazeos Tower is just 3 minutes driving away!
In this family estate, three generations have grown up with lots of love and laughter! And now it is ready to welcome new friends so to know the feeling of carelessness that makes us feel grateful and happy!

This stunning property was so perfect - I don’t know where to start. This property was a respite in the middle of our family of 5 - 15 days of travel. Villa Themis was my favorite place to stay in all of Greece - it would be perfect for a small wedding or a reunion of family or friends. The home has several bedrooms (which are very comfortable ) each with their own bathroom and plenty of places to gather or find alone time. And the Master bathroom is spectacular! Anna & Andreas left us delicious treats (bread, honey, yogurt,) as well as basics to get us through or first day - eggs, olive oil(made from their own olives!)cheese, lemonade, & wine! We were able to truly relax around the pool after exploring nearby towns & sites. And the kitchen is perfectly appointed with everything you need to make a meal & feed a group. While you need to have a car to get there - it is best to have one to explore the large island. Villa Themis is in a central location & never very far from local attractions. You can even walk to the remains of an ancient Castle (over 2000 yrs old) and watch beautiful sunsets from the rooftop. I would go back to this home every year if I could. What a lovely place & family that oversees it.

We came to Naxos on a special vacation trip with 3 generations of women and stayed at Villa Themis. The property is absolutely beautiful, and the views from the Villa are breathtaking.
Anna and Andreas were perfect hosts and were very welcoming and hospitable. They made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable, and provided excellent recommendations in terms of food and things to see during our stay. They responded quickly and were very helpful whenever we had any questions or needed advice both before our arrival and during our visit.
The villa was very central, and therefore made it easier to access many parts of the island, but one of our favourite parts of our trip to Naxos was simply enjoying our dinner and a glass of local wine while soaking up the views at the Villa!

We stayed with two families in this wonderful house, which is well equipped with plenty of space, many sitting areas and a great pool. The garden is wonderful with spectacular views of the surrounding area is beautiful with mountains all around. Anna and her husband were the most friendly and amazing hosts who provided great suggestions, were very responsive and extremely friendly. I can certainly recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Our family group of seven that included teenagers had a wonderful stay at Villa Themis in the last week of July 2023. The term “holiday villa” does not do it justice - it is a magnificent home, personally and lovingly cared for by the owners, Anna and Andreas. As such, it is very well maintained and impeccably clean, with modern appliances and conveniences. There are several different spaces inside and outside the house to spend time and spread out in, even including an artist’s studio. Nestled in an expansive property close to the village of Sagri, one awakes to the aroma of Greek herbs and the gentle sounds of the countryside. Access is straightforward with a car - recommended in order to access all the delights of Naxos from this conveniently central point: the beaches of Plaka, Agia Anna and Aghios Prokopios are approximately 20 minutes’ drive, as is Chora, and the charming villages of Chalki, 10 minutes; Filoti, 15 minutes; and Apeirathos, 30 minutes. Following any of these daytime or evening excursions, it was always a refreshing pleasure to retreat “home” to Villa Themis, including the lovely pool, surrounded by lemon and prune trees. Communication with Anna and Andreas was excellent, prompt and friendly. Thank you for allowing us to spend time in your family home. We recommend it without reservation.

We felt like Hollywood movie stars staying at this exquisite estate! The house is luxurious, lined in local marble, with a very well-appointed kitchen, high quality linens, and fully air conditioned en suite bedroom/ bathroom combos spread across two floors. The house still holds the art and collectibles of the previous owner, giving it so much personality.
The property itself is magnificent with a sparkling large pool, flowering trees, olive trees, and even a peacock in the yard.
But it is the hospitality of the owners that make this so special, with homey touches like local honey, fruit from their trees, a well stocked coffee bar, wine, and bread. They were happy to offer suggestions for restaurants and beaches, which helped us have a truly local experience. On their recommendation, we visited some close by charming villages that we otherwise would have missed. They were very attentive, visiting daily to water plants and check in, which we enjoyed.
Since the property is a bit away from the center of town, we rented a car which gave us freedom to explore. The location of the estate is actually very convenient to exploring ancient ruins as well as visiting a wide variety of the beaches that make Naxos famous, but there isn’t a lot within walking distance.
Anna and Andreas, we cannot thank you enough for sharing your special place with us! It was the highlight of our trip to Greece!

Anna was very helpful with the villa and had left some food and beverages to welcome us. The villa is amazing and perfect for a calm stay in the wild. Loved the space and swimming-pool.

Beautiful Villa located in an oasis!
Villa Themis is approached down a dirt track into an enormous bowl shaped valley. The Villa appears within an oasis of sheltering trees, flora and fauna, protecting a pristine pool and imposing property with lovely views all around. The Villa is wonderful, so much space within the property with separate areas to enjoy ones surroundings, both inside and out.
The location is great. Easy to go in any direction to explore villages, Naxos town and the beaches.
What makes this Villa even more special are Anna and Andreas who are such wonderful hosts. We were welcomed with fruit, thyme honey and olive oil - all from their own farm. They were so helpful both before and during our stay.
Our whole family ( 2 adults, 2 children, 16, 12) loved our stay and were just sad we couldn’t stay longer!
