Comoda

Camas comodas, habitaciones amplias y con balcones. Tenia todo lo necesario para cocinar comidas sencillas.

El televisor de la habitación no era SmartTv, cañería del lavamanos del baño estaba dañada, salpicaba mucho. Estuvimos una semana entera y no hay servicio de cambio de toallas y sabanas. El personal no esta a disposición rápida porque no hay nadie en mostrador.

Only for the price

Large room, with kitchen. Good wifi, and gaz cooking top. Confi bed.

No tv service, I realized that nosubsription, the owner said he will solve, but nothing happened for 10 days. The kitchen set is one for boil water in and one frying pan, coffee machine, Little ans run on the kitchen desk.

Très bien

Hôtel très bien situé, avec de très bons équipements et une belle cuisine. Le confort était top je recommande

Nous n’avons plus eu de gaz pendant 2 jours, aucune réponse de l’hôtel malgré des relances à ce sujet. Nous avons dû aller voir la dame qui faisait le ménage pour la changer (Congélateur à utiliser uniquement pour les glaçons car pas assez froid)

A localização é boa, relativamente perto do centro, da estação de autocarros e supermercados - tudo a uma distância caminhável. Bairro típico, calmo e familiar. Ar condicionado muito bom!

A limpeza e as comodidades da cozinha deixarão a desejar. A maioria das coisas na cozinha estavam sujas e faltavam coisas - éramos dois e só havia uma faca e um prato raso por exemplo. A loiça estava sujo e o espaço de cozinha bem como o chão com bastante pó e gordura. Melhorando este ponto, o alojamento ganhava muitos pontos!

Útil para hacer turismo

La ubicación es bastante accesible, hay servicios de comida, supermercado y lavandería cerca. También la playa y la zona comercial está bastante cerca. Tiene herramientas muy básicas para poderte preparar algo en la habitación. Tiene un pequeño balcón.

Nos costó entrar al lugar la primera vez ya que no hay administrador ni personal, hay que leer muy bien las instrucciones. Faltan elementos de cocina y un poco de limpieza.

No mexican hospitality, for one or two nights ok

Close to restaurants, supermarkets and bars. Quiet location, silent air condition.

What was super annoying: Already before the check-in, you will receive several messages, to bring out the garbage by yourself, how many US$ you have to pay if you destroy the linen, towels etc. You just don't feel welcome at all with this annoying communication.

the staff don’t say hello and was unprofessional we ask for a early check in and the lady texted us no problem if the room is ready we arrived and waited and obviously the room was ready but she didn’t let us in and she wasn’t even replying to messages the room smell like a hold fart was floating in all day bedbugs in the bed

Superb

Central location. While there was no staff on site full-time, issues I had were sorted very quickly. AC was on when I arrived. The refrigerator was cold, like beer ready

There was nowhere to sit outside with a beer. The information about logging onto WiFi was a little confusing at first.

For the location, the price was reasonable. Staff and stay left much to be desired.

Nice clean sheets, nice clean towels.

Could not check in or drop bags off prior to check in time. Had to wait outside until 3pm sharp. Had no wifi so could not coordinate with hosts until we found wifi elsewhere. AC didn’t work. Got a room change Only 1 toilet paper roll per stay. We were told it doesn’t matter the duration of your stay. Just 1 roll per stay. Cutlery and kitchen appliances were dirty.

Great location. Awful customer service

The location. Comfortable bed, hot water and a coffee maker.

The check in process and host communication was not very responsive and provided conflicting information. When we arrived to check in at the agreed time of 3pm, the building manager was rude and almost hostile! We were shocked by her attitude and demeanour. She told us we needed to wait another 40 minutes. No apology, no smile. She almost yelled it at us. When I questioned the reason she said, if we didn't like it she could refund our stay! At 4.30pm we were told the room was ready. She laid out the rules of the hotel as if we were criminals and were there to trash the place! In particular, if we stained the towels or sheets she would charge us 2 nights accommodation to replace them!?! Same goes if you did not remove your rubbish after check out. I am a seasoned traveller, who is pretty easy going and have lived in Playa Del Carmen before, staying in many hotels and hostels around the area over the years. I have to say that this customer service experience or lack thereof was up there with the worst.

Look for something else

The location was pretty good, walking distance to the beach and main bar street and just one corner from the supermarket

The room was dirty, floor and bathroom full of hair. There was no place where to put our clothes (only one hanger...), the bed is so small we barely fit (2 small girls), the toilet was broken and didn't flush. But the worst experience was with the unhelpful staff (she didn't even great is just told us not to stain towels- like we would anyway..). I've been in Quintana Roo 8times and this was so far my worst experience.

Good

Great affordable option just a short walk from main streets. Room was a good size with great A/C. Check in and out v easy. Kitchen a great plus with loads of supermarkets a minute walk away. Great budget alternative to the many expensive hotels in playa

Walls a bit thin so could hear a lot from other rooms and outside. Floors were quite dirty and obvious they hadn't been cleaned in a while.

Superb

I really appreciate how clean the interior was kept and how safe I felt leaving my valuable things when I left the apartment. It was very very private which I really like. And the internet worked great which was good since I was working. Thank you for a great experience.

Good for the Money!

Location and security

There was no cable TV (Only open air 5 Spanish stations), Minimum kitchenware. Old electric frying pan and crockpot. No terrace.

It was okay for what we paid for, it is an excellent location!

It was close to the grocery store and other nice places. It was good light coming from the window. It was quiet and we were able to sleep. The bed and pillows were good.

The cleanliness could improve. There was a lot of dust on the floor, and the extractor in the bathroom. I cleaned the table with soap and water and it was also dirty. There was a roach when we arrived to the property.

Would not recommend

The location - just outside of the strip so it was quiet and away from the hussle

Cleanliness - the place was dirty, only 1 toilet roll for almost 3 weeks. Only one frying pan, no saucepans or anything else to cook with. Freezer was frozen full of ice, had to defrost to even use it. Was left outside the apartment at night for 20 minutes despite telling them the time we'll arrive and keeping in touch.

Simple & safe room with AC. You get what you paid for.

The bed was comfortable. It was nice to have a balcony to sit on. The AC worked well. There was a table I could work and eat on.

I expected the kitchen to be a bit better equipped. The toilet flush didn't work properly. The room was smaller than expected.
