Cute & clean. Friendly staff

the suite was very comfortable and fun to occupy. Five windows (which open to fresh air !!) three rooms. Good views from all the windows, which faced north and south. Very good kitchen with fridge and microwave. The town has 2800 people and the people in the town are old-fashioned and friendly -- people say 'hi' in a way that is not used in big cities. The town is not wealthy and there are signs of strain - as everywhere in this country - but there are also signs of the town 'coming back' and I noticed a very hip bicycle shop. the staff at the Inn was very helpful and so were the food-servers at the restaurant on the first floor of the inn. A VERY GOOD local food spot is 'Highway 60 Restaurant" a block to the west of the Inn - famous hamburgers and fries. Interesting antique shop across the street. Very good TV with many stations. I visited the luxury 'Greenbrier' resort - one of the photos here is their dining area. - The INN allowed me to get into the sweet just after noon - the train arrives just before noon. The train is the 'Cardinal' and runs three times a week going east, three times a week going west. so it passes through the town on six days.
train departs at 5:30 p.m. - it made for a long day of waiting after I checked out of the hotel at 11;00. You have to talk a long way to buy groceries. By the way, there are no longer any 'sulfur springs' operating in the town. I was told a new center for that kind of bath - not to everyone's liking, the odor is like rotten eggs - I was told that Clifton Forge, the train's next stop (in Virginia, other side of mountains, water flowing to the James River) has those kinds of baths.

I had difficulty with the first room and once pointed out to staff they worked diligently and found me a different room. Both clean and nice no complaints.

Nick was excellent and he gave us advice on scenery. Overall very happy.

Plenty of room for my young son and I. Quiet, good restaurant next door (which is where you check in), super friendly staff.

Location. Room was really nice both layout and condition. Really liked the shower and kitchenette with real glasses and mugs.
The thermostat for heat was turned off. It was a cool day and AC units fans were running. I did not return till 8pm and room was really cold. There was no parking available due to the festival and I had to walk from end of the block with my stuff. No phone contact number found to contact . TV had no guide and no ESPN even though attached restaurant did.

beautiful location and rooms
walls are very thin, but earplugs were provided

clean! spacious!
hard to find where to check in.

Very homely
Room was right above a bar that played live music until 2am.

The property is conveniently located; it is really clean. Having the small refrigerator was nice.
Nothing; it was great!

Large suite, great shower, super clean and comfortable. Good restaurant on site.
We couldn’t get the WIFi password to work. We could have asked for help, but decided we didn’t need it.

loved every minute!!!

Comfortable and clean. Owner was very nice. Restaurant had great food.

Great location with a super cute and clean room.
Bathroom was extremely cold on the night that I was there.

No breakfast served or available, but the dinners were very good. Very nice set up, but my wife and I were initially concerned when we saw complimentary foam ear plugs on our night stand. Thankfully, we didn't need them.
The room service schedule was in small print. Better to be upfront about the room service availability.

The location was perfect for anyone attending an event or conference at the Greenbriar. You could even walk if you wanted but the free parking makes driving easy as well. So much more room than at a hotel. The restaurant downstairs was good and the staff was great. Want some craft brews? On the other side of the parking lot is a beautiful new brewpub with a nice range of beer and fantastic food.
I highly recommend this place
It would be nice to have a full length mirror. They are cheap and would help your guests feel better about looking put together.

Location was great. Rooms were spacious and decorated for a feeling of home away from home.

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The room was charming and comfortably furnished and the food at 50 East was prepared from scratch and delicious.

They take dogs! The most comfortable bed all trip. Strong shower. Jennifer, the owner, was very nice. The pizza at the restaurant was one of my best meals all trip. Others have mentioned no ironing board/iron or suitcase rack. We found these items in our hall closet. We had no issues checking in at the restaurant. Clean. Spacious. Able to adjust the air/heat. Quite a few good restaurants in town.
We were in 102 above the restaurant. Very, very minor noise from below till about 8pm, which I only mention due to complaints from others. Did not affect us and ear plugs on each nightstand shows the staff thoughtfulness we experienced all stay. Some channels on the TV went in an out but that seems to be a cable company issue and not a property issue.

Nice, clean and cozy.
Don't have to go far for good food and drink...just downstairs!
Had the special for dinner.
Was great, tasty and very good value.
No breakfast and not a single EV charger in town.
Nearest one just down the road at the Greenbrier Resort but guess what? You're not allowed to use it unless you are staying there!

The location and space were both great! We booked the 3 rooms with the shared space / kitchen. The convenience of the 50 East Restaurant / Tavern downstairs was a total bonus! The food and staff at the restaurant were fantastic and super accommodating since we were guests of the inn.
While there is a kitchen in the shared space the utensils, dishes and bowls are a bit lacking - only a single bowl was available. Plenty of glassware for drinks. Just making a meal was a bit challenging.

It was so clean and comfortable
The girls working were awesome too
Just a little loud down stairs but it was ok

Restaurant and location to Greenbrier
4.5
The location was excellent. We visited The Greenbrier We also took a steam train ride in Durbin, WV.
4.5
Conveniently located to Greenbrier resort. Plenty of parking. Great food at 50 East. Room was very clean and enjoyed having a living room.
Construction was being done at the restaurant. This meant no quiet time from 9 am to 5 pm. Had to walk on a board as section of sidewalk was being re-done. Entry door had gaps and rattled. Road noise.
