We were looking for a last minute (dog friendly) place to stay in Maggie Valley due to a death in our family and came across Brandon's property. He was gracious to accommodate our need for check in late that evening, and to extend our stay a few more days than initially planned.The property is one of the cleanest, most well maintained homes we have stayed in. It is perched high on the mountain with a beautiful view and we spent our mornings and evenings on the deck overlooking Maggie Valley. A peaceful respite for us. I especially appreciated Brandon's encouraging directions for ascending Robin's Roost road :-)

If you are looking for a great place off the beating path with an amazing view, this is the place for you. My family and I had a great time. Brandon our host was helpful and always responsive to messages.

Mr. Brandon was not kidding and He was always a Virbo text message away.....making sure we were Okay. NOTE: Once you get on Robin Roost Rd....it's a scary *STEEP* mountain road all the way up to the Cabin, several tight left and right tight "switchback" curves, gravel portions, some pot holes and ruts in the road....and a lot of praying(Keep your vehicle in 1st gear and keep the forward momentum going at 20mph(We made it up several times with my 2012, 4dr, Rear Wheel powerful engine, Hyundai Genesis)....However.....YES....it would've been easier in a 4wh Drive vehicle and......NO....small compact car engine is strong enough>>>>>>BUT>>>>>>what is waiting for you at the top.....is MESMERISING!!! We stayed glued to Gods' BEAUTY that we cherished every minute out of the Big (2) large back sliding doors and the views from each downstairs sliding bedroom doors. We enjoyed the Hot Tub every night, cooked our meals in the open kitchen and (1) time on the gas grill. We spent our time sleeping, watching TV, playing card games and watching the Sunrise and Sunset....over the "smokey" mountains. We will return back!!!

Really enjoyed our time! It rained most of the time, but we were still able to check out the nearby Soko falls and enjoyed watching the fog roll up the mountains. The house was clean, and the communication was great! The views were fantastic!
I will note, we wondered how it would be driving up the mountian as we did not have 4WD, but it was all good. We made it up in our minivan without a problem.

Great property! During our stay we visited the Smoky Mountains, Pisgah National Forest, and Balsam Mountain. This property is close to many great hikes. The property was clean! I enjoyed having access to a washing machine and dryer. The hot tub was also a plus after a long hike. During our stay, there were only two of us, but the space would definitely hold more people. The lay out of the house would allow for privacy if traveling with more people (balcony on each level). The views from all areas of the house made us feel like we were in the wilderness.

Falcon Ridge is the perfect mountain getaway! The house has all the amenities you want for a getaway: hot tub, extremely comfortable beds, fireplace, well-appointed kitchen and an exquisite view.
Brandon is a very responsive host and directions to the house were spot on.

Brandon made sure everything was perfect for our anniversary trip. Excellent communication skills and accuracy in his listing enabled us to enjoy every aspect of our trip. All of the tips he provided were spot on. Beautiful location and the listing is accurate- the views are million dollar from EVERY ROOM! We look forward to staying again. My wife and I love the Maggie Valley Waynesville area. We have been visiting here for over 30 years now. We decided to spend the week of Christmas here this year and began looking for a cabin with 3 must have aminitys a wood burning fireplace a hot tub and a beautiful view of Maggie Valley and this cabin met all of those. Of all the places we have stayed over the years this cabin has by far the best view of the Valley. Brandon’s description of the property was 100% spot on and booking, check in and check out was easy thanks to his clear directions. We were extremely satisfied with the Cabin and the whole process of booking and highly recomend staying here 😊

My wife and I stay in mountain rental cabins 2-3 times per year. This was one of our favorite places so far. The location is very convenient to Maggie Valley / Waynesville while still being very private. The place was very clean and comfortable. Brandon was very accommodating and easy to deal with.
The views from both decks and the hot tub were spectacular!! We will definitely be back.

The property was very clean and maintained, had everything that you could ask for while staying there. Brandon, the property manager was very friendly and attentive, he kept in constant contact with you to make sure that your stay was going well. This is a property that we definitely stay at again when in the Maggie Valley, NC area.

Why the Total Package?...1stly, FANTASTIC VIEW.
Falcons Ridge is an absolutely comfortable place...it stayed warm with very little heat, the wood burning fireplace (with blower!!) was so nice, especially after coming in from enjoying the views from the hot tub. It was nice to have good internet. Brandon assured us that we would get used to the drive up, and we did.
The grand finale, the battery in our car died and Brandon was a life saver finding someone to come jump us off. The entire time my husband was communicating with Brandon, he repeatedly said "This guy is so nice."
We will be returning.

Brandon’s directions to find the house were perfect. He also gave great tips on getting up the mountain, which was REALLY appreciated! We drove a FWD vehicle and managed well. Home was cute and clean with beautiful views!

Although we only had 4 days, we had an awesome stay. This home is clean, cozy and private with a wonderful view of mountains and valley. The host was most accommodating and prompt responding to any communications. Highly recommend staying, you won’t be disappointed!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights after dropping our youngest off at college and we loved the property and location. The view was so beautiful and we loved having the hot tub to return to in the evenings. Brandon was a great host and offered information on a local waterfall that we really enjoyed. Loved this home, enjoyed the hot tub on the deck every evening. Views were amazing. Home is secluded but still pretty close to town and activities. The road up was pretty easy to navigate, I have a Hyundai Tucson hybrid and was no problem. Would recommend this home!

We had a great time at Falcon Ridge. The house is perched on the side of a mountain with beautiful views from every room. I recommend the hot tub while the sun is setting then s’mores by the fire pit. Very easy to communicate with the owner. This house had every thing we needed for a great vacation in the mountains

Excellent location for many activities. Close to restaurants, main street through Maggie Valley, shops, hiking, and private enough up in the mountains if you don't want to venture out. This house has amazing views of the mountains and you can hear a nearby stream. Definitely agree with others regarding the drive up and needing the appropriate vehicle. We have a 4x4 GMC 2500 truck and had no issues except having to do 2 point turns to make the sharp curves. It's definitely intimidating the first time up if you are a flat lander like us (from Fl) and i would recommend arriving while it's still light out which was until about 930 pm. Once you have gone up and down twice it's nothing. One thing to keep in mind if you are traveling with someone that has problems with stairs or the elderly, the living quarters are located upstairs (maybe 12 stairs?)with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms on the bottom level. There are stairs leading up the the top deck from the driveway which is convenient. Each bedroom has a bath, one with a tub of needed for small children. There is also bathroom on the top floor. The beds were very comfortable and each room has a deck, sliders, and a view of the mountains. We chose to sleep in the room with the double bed because that one had a tv in the room. Our 2 dogs loved laying on the deck watching the birds. Small stretch of grassy area near fire pit for them to use. Highly recommend this house! Brandon was awesome, quick to reply and gave thorough instructions.

Stayed at this place over July 4th weekend. What a great location up in the mountains overlooking Maggie Valley! The views from the deck did not disappoint! Took us about 30 minutes to get to the national park which we spent several days hiking.
Brandon was a great host and very communicative. The house was clean and was a great getaway for our family. Would definitely stay here again!

Throughly enjoyed our stay at Flacon Ridge. The views from the deck were beautiful! The house was well appointed, with everything needed. We used it as a home base to the Great Smoky National Park, which was about 25 minutes away.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Falcon Ridge! Brandon is an excellent host (this was our second stay in one of his properties) and his home was welcoming, well-located and has fantastic views of Maggie Valley! Even during a week with a lot of rain, we were able to squeeze in nearby hikes and return to the house for hours of games, reading or relaxing. We hope to be back again very soon!

This was our first trip to the area, for a long weekend with two parents and adult son. The house was perfect for us. Wish we had more time, but tried to make the most of it with a brief hot tub soak and fire in the fireplace one evening. The location is great and the amenities perfect. We did not see or hear another car nor any other people our entire stay at the property. The views from inside and outside the cabin were amazing! We primarily booked the property for the view and it's proximity to the Cataloochee Ski Area. The view was incredible- especially waking up to it in the morning, overlooking the valley. I had some great early morning hikes with our Doggo! Once you get down off the mountain, it's super close to a lot of great local restaurants and was barely 15 minutes to the Ski Lodge! The hot tub was a perfect way to relax after a long day on the slopes. Definitely recommend.

The home was very welcoming. The warm appointments, personal photos/touches made us feel at home. The view was wonderful to wake up to and watch the sundown in the evening. We also loved that my dog Milo was able to join us. Would highly recommend this beautiful property.
