About this cabin rental
"Mystic Moonlight" is the perfect gathering place for friends and families alike. This luxury cabin offers up some of the best views you could ask for of the Great Smoky Mountains any time of the year. This luxury custom built cabin offers all of the amenities you could ask for in your very own home away from home in the mountains including King beds in each bedroom. Featuring two living rooms, arcade game, and spacious enough for any gathering, this cabin would be perfect for family reunions or weekend retreats. Located in Sky Harbor, between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, this property is conveniently close to both areas and would be approximately a 15-minute drive to either. This property offers paved roads the way up to the cabin, but steep inclines and curves do not make this cabin motorcycle or trailer friendly. Although pet-friendly, 4-wheel drive may be needed in inclement weather. Available parking for up to 4 vehicles. This 5 Bedroom, 5 Bathroom cabin that sleeps fourteen is three levels. Each level has a deck, and each offers a spectacular view of the mountains. There are also high vaulted ceilings on the main level up to the top level and loft area. On the main level, you will find a large, fully equipped kitchen with dining room seating for eight, bar seating for an additional 4, and a Living area with a stone gas fireplace and a TV. You will find a Queen sofa sleeper and loveseat along with two chairs in this beautifully decorated all wood cabin and high vaulted ceilings up to the loft which offers beautiful natural lighting in the cabin. There is also a King bedroom on the main level that has a large Jacuzzi tub, TV, and a walk-in shower. The deck is well equipped with rocking chairs and beautiful views. Imagine rocking your cares away while taking in these awe-inspiring mountain views. In the upper-level loft area, there is a pool table, perfect for those friendly games or showing off trick shots. You will also find 2 additional King bedrooms, each with a full private bath that offer a shower/tub combo, as well as a double vanity. On the lower level, there are two additional King bedrooms, each with their own private bath with a shower/tub combo. One bedroom offers a private deck for a different perspective view of the Great Smoky Mountains. There is also a spacious second living room with a Queen sofa sleeper, arcade game, and a home theater system. On this level, there is also a full deck with an attached walkway that leads to the covered Hot tub. Four couples in our 70s looking for a perfect place for our reunion. Perfect! Everyone loved the “cottage” with king beds and private baths. Smiles all around.

Wonderful sunsets off the deck in the evening. Some places we have stayed had obstructed views but not this one!!! Very clean and well stocked cabin. Decorations were very nice. Check in was a breeze. Take your time on the roads and be courteous and you should have no problems getting here. Parking was also VERY substantial compared to other properties. We even had a bear visit the last night and watched him consume the chalet down the mountains empty Red Bull remnants;) You will enjoy this place!!

Family trip
Great to have 5 bedrooms and each had their own bathroom. Bedrooms were quiet so you could sleep in while others were up. We did see multiple bear families so watch out.

Thanksgiving Family Vacation
This is a perfect house for multiple family members. It is absolutely beautiful. Everyone had their own room and bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped, suggest you bring a large fry pan if you are cooking for a large family, other than that - plenty of pots, pans, dishes etc. Lots of towels, great hot tub, Seriously it was perfect. The staff checked in with us to make sure our stay was going well. The place is worth every penny. Close to all the attractions, but suggestion you do less tourism and more family engagement in this fabulous cabin. We will be back. The Sibley Family

This property is exactly as advertised with beautiful views to the northwest. The sunsets were lovely. It was adequately cleaned and reasonably stocked. The road up was steep in places but perfectly manageable. Secluded and quiet. A little pricey though.

View from top is beautiful of mountains and sky. No porch swing at all. No patio furniture on top decks. Cabin is overpriced compared to other cabins in which we have stayed. With all the fees included it was about $1100 per night.

Perfect Cabin
Our extended family (includes middle schoolers and up) gathers every year towards the middle of January. The cabin is beautiful and has plenty of parking which is rare. The kitchen and eating area were large enough for the twelve of us with room to spare. Each of the five master suites had direct access to a deck. The hot tub was clean. The views were great. Plenty of hot water. Pool table was a big hit. Everyone just loved it. And we saw four bears in the yard. I would most definitely stay here again.

Mystic Moonlight Christmas
The cabin floor plan was great for us. We enjoyed the pool table, theatre room, hot tub, but most of all the fabulous view of the mountains. Loved that every bedroom had own bath. You MUST have 4wheel drive, as roads are very steep and winding. It snowed on Christmas Eve and there were a lot of problems. Stove and oven does not work well, but we made do. Great time, overall.

Overall cabin was excellent. We had to call for (1) no heat on bottom floor (2) no air in upper left bedroom (3) no lights on main floor balcony. Never did get air or light fixed. Otherwise everything was awesome.

Beautiful view
Beautiful view and lovely location in the mountains. The drive up not for the faint of heart but rewarding with great views. The house was certainly roomy and nice that all couples had their own bedroom and bathroom. The house could use a good cleaning. Also the pots and pans desperately need updating. The house and furnishings definitely needs some updating and TLC. Overall I thought a bit expensive for what you got.
