The house has a big kitchen with all you need to cook or bake. The dining room boosts a fantastic dinner table for 10 people – so everybody can get together when felling like being inside – and yes, a cozy gas fireplace for the colder nights (or if you simply want to see the flames!).
You will have lots of spots to relax and live the lake life, doing what you like the most. We provide board games, kayaks, life vests, books and everything one would like to find in a lake house.
THE PROPERTY
One floor house: Master Bedroom: King bed | Bedroom 2: Queen bed | Bedroom 3: 2 twin beds | Bedroom 4: 2 twin beds.
Several spaces inside the house where to hangout and enjoy: the spacious kitchen – the dining room and the TV room. But if you came here for outdoors, enjoy outside – the ample backyard has space for the kids to have fun while the adult’s sunbath or simply relax in the hammock or around the fire pit. Or go for a swim: the deck in the boathouse grants a great swimming time with handy access to the lake waters – the house is in a cove, where the waters are calm, and the fuss of others don’t reach!
If you want a little bit of both, enjoy the back or side porch while the afternoon goes by turning into a pretty sunset or stay in the covered patio, perfect for hanging with the ones that are special for you.
Silence and quietness are a great asset in the neighborhood – and you are granted to sleep well, after having a relaxing day.
THE LOCATION
You will be at the lake shore, so having water fun is granted. Bring your boat! – it will be well protected in our boathouse (*). The location is great for fishing – big fish love to be in cove waters! – or simply ride your boat for any of the several picturesque places around. There are islands and small beaches that can be easily visited. Great place for tubing, water ski or jet ski – use the available kayaks for exercising or simply enjoying the sunset from the middle of the lake.

Nice house. Very clean and beautiful lake view.

We really enjoyed our stay at the lake house which is so conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. Our grandchildren loved the kayaks and fishing. The highlight of the vacation for our 11 year old granddaughter was a pottery lesson from our gracious host Sandra. She is a wonderful teacher and went out of her way to make sure it was a fun learning time.

Great stay!
The house was great for a group of 6 just getting away for a lake weekend. Kitchen well stocked and beds were comfortable. Big dining room table for a great game night! We were able to use the dock and brought our own boat. One note- if you have a center console, you won’t fit under the 441 bridge but there’s plenty of room to run on West side.
Super relaxing and beautiful sunset. Sandra was super helpful and quick to respond to anything we needed.
Great time had by all!

Relaxing long weekend with family on the lake.
This house was a fabulous place to stay for us! We had 6 adults and 3 kids (11yr, 6yr, 5yr) the backyard and the kitchen were my absolute favorite spots. We spent a lot if time talking around the kitchen table while cooking meals. And one night we made smores at sunset in the backyard while the kids chased lightening bugs and played with glow sticks. It was truly magical. The owner of the property was very easy to communicate with and really cared about our experience there. She even left us a welcome cake and fresh flowers! The dock was also awesome. We rented a pontoon boat which was easy to get back to our dock bc the marina was 5 minutes away. Lovely place to stay! Highly recommended!

Excellent Location, Outstanding Service!
Sandra was an excellent host and promptly answered all of our questions. The house was well maintained and very clean when we arrived. If I could attach photos to this review, I would even show you the catfish and bluegill I caught off the dock. (They were large enough to eat, but I did throw them back.) Our teenagers did go in the water for swimming and seemed to enjoy themselves. (For sane adults, the water is still too cold in early April.) I did have a few work-related Zoom meetings and the internet speed allowed everything to work without issues. (Download speed was about 115 Mbps, upload speed was about 8Mbps with Spectrum.) This location made it easy for our GCSU daughter to visit and have a few friends around the fire pit for her birthday. Grocery stores (Kroger, Walmart, and others) are less than 10 minutes away. Several smaller stores sell pre-cut firewood in $10, $20, and $40 bundles. I highly recommend Sandra's property for anyone looking for a quiet location with plenty of room. She even had a fresh cake and flowers on the table when we arrived! Very nice!

Perfect get away spot!
We loved this adorable lake house! Mrs. Sandra really has created a comfortable and cozy corner of the world for her guests! From the fresh flowers and yummy cake to the special decorative touches all throughout the house, we felt quite at home while on our get away weekend. The dock was great every evening watching the sunset while my hubby caught fish. She was very responsive to our questions and allowed us to visit and shop in her pottery shop that is right beside the house. Great experience for us!

Great place
Very nice lake house with a nice dock and boat house. Water depth is perfect for playing around the dock with kids or swimming out from the dock. This place is close to everything, boat ramps, marinas, stores and Milledgeville. Nice deck, screen porch and yards.

Girls weekend.
We picked this place because it was dead center of four life long friends that live all over the southeast. It turned out to be perfect for us . Beautiful home on the water with a great historic town.

Last minute family get away
My family had a very nice stay at this property and Sandra was wonderful to work with and so very accommodating. With just a short drive away from Atlanta, we were able to fit this last minute trip in before the kids head back to school. The house was immaculately kept and was the perfect fit for us. Our stay was during the week and we essentially had the lake to ourselves to fully enjoy. It was very peaceful and perfect for our family to spend time together. Thank you Sandra!

In a word, fantastic!
This was by far the most fun we have had in a family get together. This was in no small part to Sandra and her amazing property. We had such a blast spending our days on the lake and enjoying the relaxing time just hanging out on the dock. The icing on the cake was spending an afternoon learning how to make pottery at her pottery studio!! We had an absolute blast and hope to come back very very soon!

Lovely lake house!
What a wonderful home for relaxation during these trying times! This is exactly what our family needed for our spring escape from renovations in our own home back in Atlanta. Sandra was fabulous, answering all our questions, and she left a delicious chocolate cake for my teenagers to wolf down! The kayaks were perfect, and the dock was an appropriate hangout for all of us; so lovely to get a little sunshine. We hope to be back in the future!

The place is just like being at Grandmas you have everything you need.
The home was clean has all necessities. It had plenty of space for 7 adults and 2 kids. It was close to the Marina and supermarkets. The neighborhood is quite and sits back off the main lake. We enjoyed the lemon pudding cake. The pottery gift was so sweet and a beautiful gift from the maker/home owner. We would definitely stay here again.

50th Birthday Bash
We have several friends from college that have homes on Lake Sinclair so we felt like this would be a perfect area to have a 50th birthday bash. We rented this home from the Morato's and couldn't be more pleased with layout of property, cleanliness, and easy communication when needed. Even though we were not at the home a lot we felt it was extremely close to everything and it is a definite A plus being right off of Hwy 441. This was a great location. I would highly recommend this property and would also rent again.

Amazing Weekend Getaway!
I cannot say enough positive things about the experience we had from first booking until check-out! The owner is very helpful and informative and the whole rental process was easy! The house itself is beautiful (and extremely clean!). The bedrooms are spacious and there is a nice large table for family meals, which was really nice with our large group of 8! It sits right near the water and has an excellent view of the lake, especially from the screen porch that runs along the front of the house! The yard is shady and the boat house and the use of the kayaks are just added bonuses! I would highly recommend this property for any length of stay.
