Wunderschönes Österreich

Die Pension ist liebevoll im Detail eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber sehr herzlich. Auch Extrawünsche werden schnell erfüllt. Hubert hat uns so einige Tipps gegeben, was wir uns anschauen sollten. Das Frühstücksbuffet war Klasse. Hier war alles vorhanden , was man für einen guten Start in den Tag braucht. Selbstgemachter Frischkäse und Honig vom Hubert der super geschmeckt hat. Auch das frische Omelett mit Tomaten und Käse hat uns gut gemundet. Den Honig gibt's auch zum Kaufen dort, ebenso selbstgemachten Zirbenschnaps und wenn ich mich nicht irre auch mit Nuss. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist hier richtig. Der See ist mit Badestelle auch nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Nach Hallstatt fährt man mit dem Auto ca 8-10 Minuten. Auf dem Parkplatz der Salzwelten haben wir für 5-6 Stunden 10 Euro bezahlt. Man kann aber auch mit dem Schiff übersetzen.

Wir fanden das gastronomische Angebot in Obertraun etwas dürftig. Zum Abendessen sind wir nach Bad Aussee oder Hallstatt gefahren. Wer deftige authentische österreichische Küche liebt, den können wir die Mostschänke in Saarsteinrast empfehlen. Weiterer Pluspunkt ist das super Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Ansonsten hatten wir wundervollen Urlaubstage in der Region.

It is a wonderful place with very nice experience near Hallstatt

The host was very nice and served excellent breakfast. The room was clean.

It was hot and room didn’t have AC or fan. The room windows could not be open as there was mosquitoes.

Great and comofortable accommodation

Very nice owners who were very supportive and helpful. We enjoyed a lot the hospitality and comfort of our accommodation. Also breakfast and on-demand made egg-omelettes were great. We will come again in the future.

훌륭한 숙소! 추천합니다.

방 크기가 적당하고 침대 매트리스가 편안했습니다. 주인 아저씨, 아주머니께서 늘 친절하게 응대해주셔서 기분 좋게 하룻밤을 쉬었습니다. 특히 주인 아저씨께서 유머러스하게 대해주셔서 유쾌하게 지낼 수 있었습니다. 특히 조식!! 너무 맛있었습니다. 손수 만드신 팬케이크 정말 맛있어서 여러 장 먹었고요, 야채는 굉장히 신선했고, 즉석에서 만들어주신 오믈렛 그리고 카푸치노까지 너무 너무 맛있었어요. 또 주인 아저씨께서 벌꿀 농장을 하시는데 직접 만드셨다는 벌꿀을 넣어서 먹은 요거트에는 싱싱하고 맛있는 과일이 듬뿍 들어가 있어서 좋았습니다. 여행에서 돌아온지 며칠 지났는데 그 곳에서의 아침 식사를 아직도 못 잊고 있습니다. 조식 먹으러 다시 가고 싶어요! 그리고 규모는 작지만 주인의 아기자기한 데코레이션이 돋보이는 숙소였습니다. 안뜰의 나무에 매달아 놓은 새집에 새가 머물다 가는 정겨운 집. 장식품 하나 하나 신경 써서 준비한 주인의 정성이 보이는 그런 집이었습니다. 훌륭한 숙소였어요!

칫솔, 치약, 커피포트, 생수는 준비되지 않았으니 참고하세요. (생수는 로비에서 구입 가능합니다.)

Hangulatos hely

Jól megközelíthető, ingyenes parkolóval rendelkező szálláshely, remek kilátással a hegyekre. Tiszta, kényelmes szoba tágas zuhannyal. Heidi és Hubert nagyon kedves házigazda. Remekül éreztük magunkat. Köszönjük!

I will definitely come back! It deserves a 10!

Hubert and his wife are very lovely hosts, the apartment is very clean and modern, bed is cozy and comfortable. Location is very accessible , Parking space is available directly at the door, area is quiet and near the hiking sites. I would have stayed longer if I could! But I'll definitely come back! Thank you again, Hubert!!!!

One of the best places we’ve stayed in away from home. The hosts were fantastic and extremely friendly. They made us fresh omelette in the morning and recommended places to see in Hallstatt. They also let us park the car there even after we checked out.

Loved it!

Everything! The hosts were the best!, Breakfast was amazing! We wished we would have stayed another night, instead of in Zell Am See. Thanks, for the suggestion on seeing the Ice Caves, and five fingers. We would stay there again.

Absolutely gorgeous

Perfect location, close to the lake and quiet at the same time. About 3 miles from Hallstatt. Free parking with a plenty of space on both sides of the house. Very good breakfast with a bit of everything including vegetables and fresh fruit. Eggs and honey from their own household. The hosts, a family couple, are very friendly and willing to help. We had two rooms with veranda and separate exit into the yard with a green grass and a stream. Our children liked it immensely.

Delightful stay

Beautiful location convenient for train and lakeside. Small B&B run by caring hosts, lots of personal touches. The room was modern and clean, with access to charming garden and stream. Breakfast included freshly made omelette as well as usual options.

Rather expensive- I guess because close to Hallstatt.

B&B Simmer in Obertraun was the perfect place to stay.

B&B Simmer was one of the most beautiful places to stay. Both Heidi and Hubert were the most accommodating hosts we have ever experienced. Nothing was an issue to them. Both well informed on the area. Halstatt is beautiful, but very crowded so it was nice to go back to Obertraun and relax. When we arrived early Heidi advised our room was ready, so we dropped our bags and hired a couple of well maintained bicycles from Hubert to ride into Hallstatt. An easy scenic ride on a bike/walking track with a lock provided by Hubert to secure the bikes. Car parking is full on in Hallstatt so bicycles was easy. From Obertraun we had the option of the local bus operating till 7pm (10 euro rtn for two people), hire bikes or the ferry to get to Hallstatt from B&B Simmer, so no point staying in Hallstatt at high accommodation prices with Obertraun just up the road. In fact we enjoyed Obertraun more with it's laid back atmosphere (and Huberts sense of humour). Breakfast was absolutely divine with cereal, omelets, fresh fruit and homemade cakes plus a cappuccino made by the best host ever, Heidi. If you are visiting Hallstatt then stay in Obertraun at B&B Simmer. You won't regret it with Heidi and Hubert.

Extra cleaning fee?? Not going to book again.

It is quite close to the train station and the boat to Hallstatt.

It does not provide washing machine. When we asked the landlord whether they provide laundry services, there was no reply. So we washed the clothes by ourselves, all of a sudden the landlord charged us extra cleaning fee for hanging the clothes in the room, which is ridiculous. Not going to book this accommodation again.

Excellent choice away from bustle of Hallstatt

My husband, teenage son and I had a wonderful three-night stay at this B&B in the quiet town of Obertraun. Heidi and Hubert are kind, friendly hosts and very helpful guides to local attractions beyond the compulsory visit to lovely Hallstatt. The room was clean, comfortable and modern. Breakfasts were generous and delicious.
