Let me start by saying I loved this cabin! It definitely needs to be updated from the 90's, but the size & proximity to the water, and location on Hayden Lake are perfect!
Our only issues were when we first arrived the smoke alarm was chirping. Then after we finished unpacking & went to start dinner (you can't check in until 4pm) the propane for the BBQ was completely empty.
We then had to spend over an hour ( 30 minutes each way) to refill the propane tank and buy batteries for the smoke alarm.
The master bedrooms bed is broken and not comfortable at all. Its completely indented on one side.
Then our last night as we pre-heated the BBQ for steaks, the drip tray caught fire from not being cleaned as to what looked like all summer.
I feel like every place has some quirks...
But I would definitely stay here again

Home was older but very comfortable. Beautiful view of the lake. Would be great if more tourists Han two dish towels and coffee were provided. We enjoyed our two days there.

The house was spacious and pretty clean. It had good kitchen amenities, plenty of beds, and furniture inside and out. There was a nice dock and swim area. The only con was that there was no AC. It did get hot in the afternoon, but we managed. It was not super toddler-friendly outside or on the decks, but if you don't have toddlers, it's pretty nice. I would recommend it to friends without little ones.

Property is beautiful. Lake views are ama
zing. Lakenis great to play in. Bed upstairs could be updated and there was a ton of hornets from early morning to night. Assuming a few nests were active.

We rented this house for the weekend for our daughter’s birthday. Originally we wanted to stay somewhere for 2 nights, just to go to Silverwood, but after looking at the pictures of this home, we decided to stay extra night and spend a day at the lake. Unfortunately weather turned on us and it rained almost the whole first day, but even that did not stopped us from having fun. The view from the house was absolutely amazing. Inside the home was everything you could possibly need or want. Variety of cookware, silverware. Bathrooms were stocked with towels and soaps. Would definitely go back again! Thank you!

The view was great, but the windows were in desperate need of cleaning and the TV was not working. While the house was clean, there were lots of cobwebs inside.

We loved the location and the price point of this house. What we didn't like is the 4 trash cans behind the house were packed already upon arrival. The stairs down to the dock are quite wobbly (would be difficult for elderly people). Dock is super nice though. Last but not least there is a million spider webs and nests everywhere around the house and deck area.
Will be back again but better cleaning services should be mandatory.
I would rate this at a 3.5 if I had that option.

Likes: Wonderful location, nice boat dock to keep boat moored, great deck and patio furniture, clean bathrooms. Dislikes: Inside kitchen drawers and cabinets there were spilled food and crumbs, the ice tub was dirty, some dishes and pans in the cabinets were dirty. The large rug in kitchen was disgusting. There were cobwebs all over outside windows on deck. Windows are very dirty, it was hard to see out of them. Then, in one of the bathroom cabinets, there was an empty Corona bottle and a dirty pair of men's underwear and pants. This place is a very nice location, but needs a deep clean.

As others have said, this place could use some updates. The big pro here is the location! Tucked away down a gravel road, this is a beautiful, quiet setting. We purchased a couple inflatable kayaks and paddled around the lake the deck was a great spot to play cards, have a cocktail and enjoy the view. Traveling with teens we appreciated the the master on the main and two additional bedrooms downstairs. 2 decks, each with a view of the lake. The property management company really needs to address the ant and spider problem though, not the end of the world, but shouldn’t be an issue guests have to tolerate.

We loved the deck, the well stocked kitchen, cool rooms for sleeping downstairs and the great area for swimming.

Hair on shower walls. Dishes in dishwasher that stunk. Inside kitchen drawers were dirty'. Garbage can in kitchen was dirty under it and in it. Sticky stuff on end table. The place was just dirty. we paid 1500. for 2 night. Only thing that really nice was the view. Who ever is cleaning this place needs to be fired,

Very cool location. A little dated. You get your own private dock. Perfect spot for a weekend getaway on the lake! Was missing some basic amenities but overall a great stay!

Perfect view of the lake
Grandparents, two daughters, two grandkids and a son-in-law stayed four nights and had a wonderful time! The property is just as it is pictured. My only complaint was that there were a lot of cobwebs in the house. Great house for the price. And a great floor plan for our family!

Great view. Easy access to water. Kitchen fully stocked. Plenty of towels. Very clean. Glad was aware no AC, brought fans, worked great. Only a couple problems…. almost ran out of toilet paper but had brought a roll from home. Only 1/4 roll paper towels in the home, but again brought my own roll. No dishwasher soap/tabs available. Deck has a very “sketchy” board, feels like going to break through any time now, and railing has broken board with make shift fix, both very unsafe. Upstairs bed fine but a little too soft for my liking. Overall had great stay. Wonderful home. Would go again.

Location, location, location
This was our second time at this property and we were just as pleased as the first. It has everything we need except for a few things, but I was prepared for that. It's a great little house right on the lake with a nice dock and we even had a little beach because the water was lower this year. Bring fans because there's no A/C and can get warm during the day, bring extra TP, paper towels, and your own beach towels. Also, the dishwasher detergent that is supplied is not really dw detergent as it suds and makes a mess so bring your own. (Luckily I knew that.) There was an ant problem this year but once we sprayed the door ways, they didn't come in. Wifi is a little spotty and no cell service with my carrier (AT&T). Other than that, it's a great place to stay and the lake is awesome!

Sandbar Point
The dock and swimming area was great. Stairs down to dock were fair. Great location. Upper deck railing has a broken cross support. Wire on deck railing is so small it's dangerous. Definitely not kid safe. Mattress in downstairs room is worn out. 2 fridge/freezers is great. Well pump pressure relief valve was broke when we arrived. Sprayed water in downstairs bathroom when pump came on. Screen doors are wore out. With some work Sandbar Point could be amazing.

This was a pretty relaxing spot right on the lake. The private dock was super nice for our kids to play on. The house is old but it was clean and a pretty nice place to stay overall. I would recommend this place as a getaway spot but there are a few things to be aware of.The house has a sandbar just off the dock and it attracts a lot of boaters. They can be kind of noisy with loud music and just having lots of people. They can also be kind of messy and leave food and trash in the water. We did find several large pieces of broken glass in the water over by the beach area so bring water shoes or just avoid the beach altogether. The sandbar was cool but the boaters ruined it a bit. There is a washer and dryer in the house but no laundry soap so you will need to bring your own. It seems weird because they ask you to wash the towels before you leave as a courtesy to the cleaning staff but then don't give you the soap to wash them. The trash cans out back were all full when we got there so we had nowhere to get rid of our trash. Just be aware. They do say in the listing that there is no cooling in the house and that is very true. You'll definitely want to bring a fan or two because it gets hot.

KEEP LOOKING.
This property is w/a/y down a very twisty, slow road - about 1/2 hour to drive out or in. The traffic in Hayden Lake and Coeur d’Alene is so bad that it’s another 1/2 hour to go anywhere. So it’s a full hour, EACH way, to do anything; I ended up staying “in town” with friends a lot just to avoid the long drive. This property is way, way out with a steep bank. A wind storm took out the electricity and electric baseboard heating while I was there and I had to drive around a fallen tree to get out. The house itself is fine, the location is terrible for a rental. I would never stay here again. Little help from VBRO/Vacasa.

Nice Lake House
This house had a beautiful view and great dock! House itself was dirty and very outdated. Was told we could not check in early due to extensive covid cleaning practices only to get inside and floors were dirty, it was dusty, dead bugs in windows, outdoor decks not swept, etc. Communication with Vacasa was very poor and when having to call there were very long wait times. Better to work with individual owners vs a big company I feel. The drive there is very very windy and long and dirt road to the house that is shared with neighbors and driveway is the yard. Time to restaurants/stores is 40minutes due to the road. Heating in the home is like a sauna! Could not get it to cool down with the floor heaters. Enjoyed our stay and was very relaxing just wish the house was a little more clean and more updated.

House needs some upgrades...well equipped kitchen, but awful bedding and linens. No instructions for use of amenities or appliances and no indication of what’s expected for closing up/checking out.

Our days at the house were a great respite and time to bond. Because of the heavy smoke we stayed mostly indoors so missed the deck and canoeing but it was still very enjoyable. The kitchen is very well equipped and the house is very comfortable with beautiful views.

Beautiful Lakeside Views at this home with water access but the home itself is old and needs some love. The floors , end tables and bedside tables were dirty and outdoor area Could use a power wash and deck repairs as both decks and entry stairs move when you walk and the railing is moves when you push it so it becomes a safety issue as there is a large
Drop off. The kitchen stove was very old but functional and the kitchen was stocked well with cooking utensils, dishes and pans. The main bathtub floor also flexes when you are moving in the shower. Due to Covid, I spent the first hour recleaning surfaces. The bathrooms still has hair in the floor and the kitchen garbage can was grimy on the edges. You drive across and adjacent driveway as you access the property and it is steep which made A friend of ours spin out as he tried to exit.
