A must in your trip to Fish river Canyon

A really nice overnight stop.

White House guest farm was a perfect overnight stop. The room was great with everything provided for self-catering. We ordered dinner and breakfast and they were both excellent. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly.

The braai area didn't have a view but as we were only there one night it didn't really matter.

The staff was friendly, loved the dog that greeted us when we got there and the beds was soft. Clean

The staff was super friendly when we arrived. She explained that the room I booked was small before we arrived and again when we arrived to make sure we were happy. The braai pack that we ordered was amazing.

If you want to feel yourself at home during your long trip, I strongly recommend you to stop there

Amazing family, amazing accomodation for an extremely valuable price. The dinner also was much better what we expected, tasty, well served. I strongly reccomend to everybody to use this nice place to sleep on the way to the Fish river Canyon from Windhoek or on the way to the desert from south. Do not forget to ask the love story of the owners. It will melt your heart.

Good for a one night stopover.

The historical house and the surroundings is something to experience! Loved to read the stories of the previous people who have stayed in the house.

The room we stayed in at the back walks out onto the dining room which didn't really feel very private. Also our room wasn't as nicely furnished as some of the other rooms in the house. It felt a bit neglected.

Great value for money, friendly, comfortable stay in a farmhouse oasis.

The White House was our Mid-Way stop from Cape Town to Windhoek. Ideally placed a little oasis in the middle of no-where. So welcomingly received after a long drive and then onto the old farmhouse where we had old traditional rooms. A lovely swim in the farm dam pool before enjoying some beers, wine and a lovely lamb supper provided by the White House. A huge common kitchen for anyone wanting to self cater or braai.

Food was good but if you have the time to self cater or braai you will have more options. Otherwise no complaints.

Tolles Haus mit sehr geschmackvoller Einrichtung. Das Grundstück ist riesig und man kann es hier nur einfach genießen. Die Betten sind bequem und auch das Frühstück ist sehr lecker.

An amazing farm stay

The peace and quiet of the outdoors and then being paid a visit by the farm occupants, a herd of cattle. Brilliant, For those who like walking in the field there is ample space to go walking and enjoy the fresh air and nature at it's best. However, the creme de la creme, the highlight of all highlights was the home cooked meal consisting of lamb as the main ingredient and which was cooked to perfection. It surpassed all expectations and is a must. And there was more than enough food. A BIG thank you. Also the friendliness of the staff and owners was amazing.

Not far from the main road, comfortable bed, friendly hosts. We stayed in the main house and had access to the kitchen where we could make good plunger coffee. They served a delicious dinner and packed a takeaway breakfast for our early departure.
