Excellent location. Responsive staff. Comfy beds. Couldn't ask for anything more!
Stairs were steep, as mentioned. No big deal for us.

Location was fantastic. I really liked where it was in relation to the rest of the city. I also had a private porch, which I thought was pretty cool. The private bathroom was pretty clean, as well.
The stairs were fairly steep for going up and down (no elevator in the building). The check-in process was also a little convoluted because there is no 24-hour staff available - so if you show up outside of office hours, you would have to call in to get your keys.

The location is amazing. The staff is kind
The beds are not comfortable, the only problem of our staying

location was perfect, room was great value for money, receptionist was very helpful and accommodating - waited late for us when our flight was delayed for check in.

The hotel is very small, the room was REALLY small but all was clean and absolutely sufficient for one night. The street is packed with high end shops (Hermes, Gucci...). Strange location for such a hotel but a larger hotel just woudl not fit. For the price they charge, it was perfect for one night.

Location was ideal for us, close to museums, public transport and restaurants.
There was no reception area and to check in you had to call a number to open up the door. international guest often do not have a compatible phone with them upon arrival. Also , there was no elevator and over forty narrow steps to climb with luggage is a challenge for older people, let alone the handicaps.

Location is perfect, it's near museums and the park. The beds were basic but comfortable, it was clean and the shower was normal size.
No deal breakers, I would book again. Just 2 small issues: the stairs are a bit too steep, but you get used to it. And the sink was not made to wash face, just hands. If you try to wash your face you'll splash all water on the ground. As a workaround you can just use the shower for that purpose and that worked for me.

It was clean, someone was in every day to bring fresh towels and shower creams, and make beds. Not exactly new - but clean, and warm. Small fridge available, too.
We were basically in the attic room, so a bit crowded.
And no ring - so fairly difficult to reach somebody at a hotel for a check in. We stood in front of the doors for 15 minutes before being able to reach somebody.

The place is located in the city center, which is a huge advantage. Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum or Stedelijk Museum is just around the corner. The street is quiet during the night.
The hotel is located in one of the old tenement house, so the walls are not so thick. Due to that, you can hear people from other apartments.

Really clean, comfortable and warm. Bathroom was nice, recommend you bring sliders as shower is shared with toilet but it dries quickly. Mini fridge was really nice and bed sheets were clean with clean towels provided. Room cleaned daily which was nice.
Not an issue for me but steep stairs If you aren’t able to climb might not be for you

great location, very safe part of town
only one toilet for the whole property on second floor.

The location is very good. Close to public transport in all major directions. Walkable to downtown and any main hotspot. Wi-fi is decent. Bed is pretty good. The room has a mini-fridge which is really useful.
The room is super noisy. From the street outside and from other rooms and the stairs. The curtain is too short, which means the super bright lights right next to the window will shine inside your room ALL NIGHT. As if you sleep in a fully lighted room. Those lights from outside under the curtain give more light than the poor lamp in the room.... The window also had a constant cold air flow coming onto the bed. The room didnt even had a do/do not disturb card for on the door, not that any cleaning can be expected. Only on day 1 the cleaner came to ask if we needed anything. After that nothing got cleaned again. The bathroom is super tiny, i had to sit sideways on the toilet or i couldnt fit. And in the shower i could barely move, while im absolute not a big guy. The old stairs are, outside being super noisy, also super steep. The hotel has no services (breakfast, a bar, or anything).

The room was good, included a mini fridge, a window and three single beds. Was reasonably clean and rooms were serviced daily.
We were on the third level and the stairs were very steep. The bathroom lacked ventilation.

The location and the price were great. The room itself was tiny but clean, so no complaints from us.
We couldn't find any staff, we only saw the receptionist once as we checked in, because we bumped into her by accident. Some random people from the street got into the hostel and were sleeping on the stairs. I don't want to be mean, but the place kind of smelled weird, I'm sorry to say... For one person to be running the whole hostel, it was not in bad condition and I feel sorry for her, because it is a lot of rooms to take care of, she's done well to keep them clean. The bathrooms could've been nicer but were also ok and stocked up.

great location and clean rooms. helpful staff. comfortable beds.
there was an odd smell coming from the sink drain in our room a lot of the time which wasn’t pleasant. also our shared bathroom was on the floor below us, but we didn’t mind too much. pillows were low quality and not very comfortable

Quiet street.Cool designer shops.Nice park.Near museums.Fair price.Helpful man at reception.Quite long scenic walk from Central Station.
Guests smoking weed outside street door below.Have to close window. Then pounding up and down the long narrow stairs late at night.
Usual small hotel problems. No lift,so steep staircase climb with bags.

The location is perfect! It’s easy to get to places if you don’t mind walking 20 minutes. It’s very close to Van Gogh museum and the transport is also near. It takes 35-45 minutes to get to the airport by bus. Very convenient.
We were a group of 4 and got a room with 4 beds. The room was on the top floor. The problem was the stairs. They are very narrow. Don’t book it if you have big baggages because it’s scary walking up and down with them. Also, there was nothing to block the water from the shower to the toilet. The bathroom gets all wet. My mattress had bad inclination and it was falling from the bed during the night.
