Nice hostel with good location. The staff and other guests makes it really nice.
Maybe it needs little refreshing. They should give better advice how to get there easier by using the taxi boat.(it costs 3 € and takes 5 minutes)

The host Dragan was so lovely and so helpful! Lovely hostel with a nice pool and great a/c
It’s a little far from the main town but easily accessible by taxi or around 30 minute walk
3.5
It was clean and comfy
I cant really say anything bad cause I was only 5 hours there 2 to get ready for an event and 3 for sleep until my flight

Good kitchen and the volunteer staff are nice and keep things clean. Comfortable bed with available charging spots.
If you are a young woman I don’t recommend staying here because Dragan continuously made me feel uncomfortable. The way he talks to women is completely different from men by making comments about our bodies and will uncomfortably stare at you in a bikini. He grabbed me by the waist in the pool when we were playing volleyball and kept trying to touch my shoulder and hands in the water. I understand he wants to be a part of the guest’s experience and be buddy buddy with us but being a 50+ yr old man and a host there are boundaries that he does not respect. The wifi is also pretty much nonexistent in the 12 bed room, especially at the end of the room.

The volunteers were all very lovely and it was easy to meet the other guests at the hostel and make friends. The pool and outdoor common areas where also a highlight
The owner did not treat his staff with the respect they deserved- went so far as to comment on female staff members bodies - it did not surprise me that none of the staff had been working there for more than 2 weeks when I arrived
The dorm room was dark and damp and in the basement - they put all the guests in this dorm despite having an upstairs dorm with windows and ventilation which is bizarre in my opinion

Awesome staff. Lovely family feel.

Dragan is great host, giving you all tips you need. Location is also very good.
It was a little noisy late at night by other guests.

Nice staff
I've stayed in the mixed room, too many people in the same space. At least 12 beds, and all that in the basement of the house, no windows, no natural light. No se circulation.

Dragan went above and beyond to make my short stay the best it it could be.

Nice hostel vibe, perfect for solo travelers. The staff and the owner of the hostel are very friendly and helpful.

It felt homey. Kitchen, pool, outside area, and pool were very nice. Good location with lots of amenities. Good home base for exploring the island.
The downstairs dorm was stuffy. One tiny tiny window and no airflow meant one person with b.o. stank up everyone’s stay.

The atmosphere on dragons den is the best! Feels like a big family to moment you walk through the door

We were knackered and was very much looking forward to our accommodation. We got there and staff were really friendly. The manager and staff tried to help us find transport to our next destination which was nice of them but with an offer charge of 100 Kuna for a 6 mins ride to the city town centre, we trekked instead to save money.
When our room was shown to us, at first I thought we were heading down to the basement to get to another side but no, down the stairs there were our beds, too many too for such a small room, very stuffy, condensation issues and simply smelt vile/mouldy. Very unusual setting. I think where we were placed was the problem because I think people with the reviews were placed in their private rooms upstairs which must've been better. We were instantly disappointed as it had 2 tiny windows with no air through it, people on beds in a hot basement and they had turned off A/C😳. I couldn't cope so I asked if I could turn A/C on for air. I did and later on, someone switched it off, leaving room smelling even more stuffy/sweaty. No emergency escape route which is very dangerous. Stairs are slippery and not positioned with safety precautions so risks of slipping is high, plus no landing before doorway so you step into a storage and bathroom cupboard/room or towards reception. Cleanliness is very low and needs urgent attention. Domestos bleach can take all mould etc off instantly. Please invest in good cleaning products and adequate care needs to be given to your spaces. Been to so many hostels and hotels. Unfortunately, this isn't one of my favourites due to these issues and was in fact shocked. No plug sockets on walls. A non universal small extension wired/cable on the floor for all beds but won't fit our chargers as slots weren't adequate.

Probably not for someone who appreciates comfort and good amenities. They don’t have lockers and only two showers for all the guests. I stayed in a 12 bed dorm that's in a basement with only two tiny windows. The bed was ok comfortable, but they don't have basic comforts like a power point for each bed to charge your phone. Towels not included. It's expensive for what it is. It's a 30 min walk from the old town and the beach isn't that close either. Maybe for younger crew, but for a seasoned traveller who has seen so many nice hostels this was poor. You can leave your valuables in a safe at the reception. I think a separate locker provided to each guess is a bare minimum each hostel should have and towels included so you don't have to put a damp towels in your bag. You you can hire a towel, but with the price of the stay it really should be included.

The room was nice and quiet, very clean and we would book it again. The area was also safe and nice. It was easy to check in and enjoyed good sleep!
Some restrictions were not clear when doing the booking - would wish more clarity to those.

The personel was really helpful. There is a little swimming pool, and the possibility to wash your clothes (although it costs 13€!).
Everything is done to socialize with fellow travelers.
The Hostel is also really calm and well located if you have a car (10 Minutes driving to Korcula Old Town and to Lumbarda).
The value for money is really bad. I have never paid so much to stay in a hostel, in a shared room.
The room and the bathroom were not perfectly clean (hairs on the floor, hairs in my bed...).

Staff very welcoming and hospitable on areival and helped to plan out activities and give advice on what to do and where to go. Social hostel environment but also respectful of other guests. Good kitxhen facilities, great to have the pool. Highly recommended.
Distance to old town is couple of kilometres, this didntbbother us at all but might be an issue for some.
