Woda w spa jest grzana, to ważne podczas wypoczynku z małym dzieckiem. Łóżka są bardzo wygodne, śniadania smaczne. Szczególnie warte docenienia jest przemiła obsługa polskojęzyczna.

Nice rooms, good breakfasts, friendly staff, and the spa was a pleasant addition. Great base for exploring Orland and the Kalmar area.

We love the breakfast at Skansen, it has a range of appealing, fresh and delicious options. A great start to the day. Staff are always super friendly and helpful. There is a good choice of where to sit, it is very clean, we never feel rushed and feel it is a great start to the day.

The room had air conditioning and the bed was very comfortable. There was bowls and treats for our dogs in the room. Nice location for travellers with dogs. Great breakfast.

Great hotel, old and cozy. Very good breakfast and children enjoyed the spa very much. Dogs were welcomed and our he got a blanket, some food/water bowls and a snack, which was great :)
Nothing bad to say about the place

The breakfast was good and varied but not well organized and this caused a long queue. The jacuzzi and pool were great and clean.
The reception staff were very serious. We had the feeling of being in an office!!

Nice overall ambiance, excellent breakfast, dinner nice also what comes to food. Service in the restaurant is another story. Room with balcony was clean and spacious and nice decor
service was quite poor especially on the first night. Staff did not know a thing about the hotel practices or eg taxis etc. everything you asked, they could not give a straight answer. I bet poor training and/or lack of interest... Bathroom was spacious but very unpractical, since there were no shelves or place to put your things. Proper closet for clothes would have been nice aswell in the room.

Restaurant was excellent, the cuisine and service superb. Bar was nice to sit and enjoy a drink.
Room was a little small.

We had indicated in advance that we would check in later. They followed this up very well. Even contacted us by phone. They really make the effort to arrange it very well.
Reception was very friendly and the room very good and tidy.
We often travel with our dog. Had also indicated that we would come with our dog. And what we have never experienced before was simply fantastic..... In the room there was a food bowl (with a dog treat in it), a water bowl (filled with water). This was on a nice placemat. In addition, there was a special blanket for the dog (she immediately lay down on it and slept on it).
Furthermore, the breakfast is very good and extensive.
This hotel is an absolute must!!!

Great breakfast with lots of choices. The bed would benefit from an extra blanket.

we had a one night stay for rather low price 130 Euro incl. Breakfast. The Hotel is in general very good but its older. e.g. old water cooker and phone. Feels like 1990.
Rather High price for Spa per Person 25 euro with Sauna, little too cold Jakuzzi and mini Pool. But in good shape.

breakfast was superb, The breakfast staff were helpful. The spa was small but very nice. room was comfortable
At check in we were not made welcome, only presented with a ton of rules about booking times for a spa, and committing to a booked reservation for breakfast.
Dinner was ok, nothing special, but the service was extremely slow. 55 minutes from ordering to getting our main course. The restaurant was not that busy. The international "whiskey bar" was down in a dingy cellar with no staff to help out. we were just presented with a list and told to fix it ourselves. Again we had to find staff to get us a drink in the bar. I was also charged 280 Sek for a small (4cl) unnamed whiskey,
The room was expensive for what it was and it was cold in the room. the heating did not work.

Great location. Good breakfast with good vegan options. Nice coffee. Good food in restaurant at least on our first night. Nice outdoor seating.
Room that was quite expensive (just a double standard room) was tiny and felt old and in need of an upgrade. Toilet was leaking and there was hair in the shower. I booked a room with two separate twin beds and we only got one bed. Above the bed was a spiderweb full of bugs, spiders and other disgusting insects. At 00.30 when we noticed the bugs we requested a new room as I am very scared of Spiders. The man in the reception was very nice and quickly got us a new room for that night. When we came back to the original room after breakfast the bugs were still there. We thankfully got a new room but this means in our 3 day stay, we slept in 3 different rooms? Unacceptable. We booked this place because it looked nice and all we wanted was a nice place to sleep on our visit to Öland.
Let’s talk bout the service level. Just one single person in this hotel or the hotels restaurant smiled at us during our stay. Everyone else looked bothered when they were approached, even at the check in! Hostesses at the restaurant seemed stressed both nights that we visited even though there were not many guests there. On the night we arrived and went to the restaurant we had a super nice waitress, smiling, very polite and knowledgeable. Other than that, everyone who worked there looks miserable for days straight.
You had to book a timeslot for breakfast, which is understandable and very good considering the pandemic, but there was a sign at the breakfast saying you could only get breakfast from the buffet once?! Also no one was there to welcome you into the breakfast area which I think I important.
We never used the outdoor pool as it looked like something my dad would attempt to build himself in our yard. Old, dirty wood surrounded the pool that looks like it could use a cleaning. The furniture around the pool was nice but the stone flooring looked dirty and sad. This area really needs a makeover.
NOT COMING BACK.

Nothing. It was awful.
The hotel is advertised as 4-star on all online websites and as a “spa” hotel. It is barely a rundown 3-star. Very pricey for what it is and terrible facility. Our room and toilet had no aircon, no minibar, the kettle was rotten, the shower had showergel mixed with shampoo and handsoap in a wall dispenser. Something I would never expect in a “spa” hotel. The furniture were really old and hadn’t been upgraded since the 80s. So cheap and nasty. Our room had a window towards a wall. The most terrible nights sleep esp that it was 28 degrees.
The so called pool and spa are so dilapidated and look dirty. We didn’t dare using the pool.
Would have never booked it if it was a 3-star.
Not sure why ppl have rated it so high in reviews?! What kind of hotels had they been staying at?!
Such a waste of money. 1760kr for one night.
It was a horrible stay after a day of driving!

Everything, resturant was amazing and fancy. Good service, amazing bath and relax department. Room was amazing too.
Some dust on some of the lamps. No major issue but it withstands.

Nice hotel in a good location on Öland. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and quiet and the bed was very comfortable.
The water in the outdoor jacuzzi did not look clean. The indoor pool is pretty small for the number of people staying at the hotel.
