Does not live up to expectations or the price
The bed was comfortable and the general cleanliness of the hotel was good. There are some stunning parts to the building but this was limited to the older parts.
I arrived at 8:30pm after a long drive. No room service and the restaurant was open until 9pm. If you're after a lighter snack like a club sandwich you're out of luck. My room distance certainly contributed to my daily step count which was 7mins from reception, then there was the similar walk to the reception from the car park. If you get the wrong car park it's even further, it would have been good to have a check in space by reception. When I got to my room I quickly realised the hotel was on the Heathrow flight path. My room had doors rather than windows that were no sound proof. The shower was a trickle and the shower head had pink mould on it. Other than that the bathroom was clea. The room was hotter than the sun but a lack of air con and the flight path situation made it difficult to cool down.. The evening meal I was rushed at the main restaurant and asked for payment as soon as I walked up. I asked if it was set menu and told yes and shown the food. As I was after a light snack I was told to go to the 1709 bar. Expecting a bar snack i was disappointed. I was sat in another restaurant in the middle of groups, I ordered a pint and a burger with the service charge 🤬 I was £26 out of pocket. Half my food was left not because of the taste but it was much bigger than the snack I wanted. Only one member of staff said hello/good morning in the corridors. One of the three reception staff was lovely, the other two did not seem to be happy they were on the shift. Both check in a check out. Pool facilities open at 7 breakfast starts at 7. Makes if difficult for business visitors to do both before leaving for work. While this wasn't a bad hotel I've rated it based on the image it presents its self, the price and the 4star rating. Much better hotels in the area but does not meet my expectations set. . Luckily I had a good genius discount but I won't be staying here again.

Impeccable customer service
The customer service I received was impeccable, due to booking through booking.com there was a slight issue with the room we was given and the room we booked online. Although this was not the hotels issue they were very keen to help resolve my concern they went above and beyond to ensure that we was happy. I can't thank the staff enough for the top quality service my family recieved. The hotel grounds were beautiful and in a great location.

We were a bid disappointed in the hotel/room.
Good location for Windsor Castle. Food was decent.
Very spread out - had to walk miles between room and restaurant. Room was small (or bed was too big) and bathroom was poor. Odd arrangement with two rooms off entrance lobby. Room door were heavy and noisy when entering/leaving room.

Great stay but not if really hot outside
Everything looks great, it looks like an old mansion, luxury is the word, reception open late, complimentary stuff, great outdoors too
There is no air con in rooms just a Fan. The phone to dial Reception doesn't work

Disappointing
Beautiful old estate
I upgraded my room to a deluxe one. It was possibly slightly bigger than standard one, but practically without windows. The windows in the room was way above upper door level. I am severe claustrophobic and I spent restless night in a deluxe room without deluxe! During my breakfast one of the writers dropped a glass on the floor and with a cheeky smile put it back on the shelf with the clean ones. It made me think about the cleaning standards of the estate.

Not happy with the value we received for money we’ve spent. Very disappointing
Location
No Room Service. No staff help for taking luggage. Room Too far away. No moisturiser’s in bathroom, No dental Kits, nobody answering phones at reception. Pool too deep for children.

Excellent place to stay
Room was comfortable, excellent fittings Dinner was excellent - rate very highly for both quality of food and service Breakfast was also very good, though would have welcomed a 'continental breakfast' option e.g. cold ham, salami, sliced cheese as is provided in many hotels Staff were very helpful at all times A good early walk from our room to breakfast - interpret as unusually long! It's a large estate.
Better signs to reception when driving in so could park car closer first time
