Beautiful hotel, lovely staff and really good location.
4.1
Lovely environment, comfy room. The receptionist was helpful and refunded us our breakfast fee.
Staff ignored us on arrival and we were left standing at reception for over ten minutes even through 3 different staff walked past us standing there. We advised ahead of time that we were vegan and again a week prior to our visit but our breakfast was not accommodated for, dry bread and offered brown or red sauce as an alternative to butter , no milk alternative. Veggie sausages were cold and like soggy cardboard with zero taste, mushrooms were stone cold. And so we didn’t eat what was given to us as it was cold and not of a decent standard. The hash browns were the only thing that had heat and were edible. A disappointing end to our stay.

Nice clean rooms
Noisy neighbours in room next door. Not the hotels fault. However as there is no-one in reception overnight, there was nothing g we could do about loud music and shouting at 0300 in the morning
4.1
comfortable bedroom and bathroom. location is good with nice riverside setting. room was quiet given also proximity to the road
service at dinner could have been better, no offer of vegetables or salad to accompany what was a good rump steak. biggest gripe though is having to got to the bar to order dinner, drinks and even breakfast, when I was the only person there.

Ideal location if visiting Thorpe Park as less than a mile away from hotel. Free parking which is always a bonus and food and breakfast was lovely. We had adjoining rooms, which was great as we travelled with our daughter. Would definately stay again.

River View
Option to eat Breakfast outside
No hot water available in room
Had to have a cold shower as no other option available.
No hot water available in wash basin either.
Did report to reception the following morning but unfortunately issue wasn't resolved before we checked out the following day.
Nightmare considering the average temperature on the weekend was 33'C.

Room was fine. I was impressed by the cooked breakfast. My partners cereal menu options were a bit dear.
Non-working wifi. No signal at all in the bedroom, although I could pick up the ignal of a nearby caravan & camping site. I had brought my laptop to complete some work, but it was not possible to send it. The plug in the basin wouldn't stay down, wasting hot water while washing. Both issues were reported to reception staff. The bar had excessively loud music, louder than peoples' conversations. I had to ask bar staff twice to get an acceptable level.

The hotel was lovely with a cosy and comfortable feel to it. Staff were welcoming, polite, and very helpful. The room was a good size and had everything we needed, with a lovely view over the lake outside which looked pretty even in the rain. The posh toiletries in the room were a lovely touch. Food in the restaurant was also very good. The hotel is in a great location for our visit to Thorpe Park, and the on-site car park was perfect
The bed was a little hard for me personally so I didn’t sleep well.

the dust in the rooms was terrible I suffered with my breathing and allergies😟

Rooms clean with good decor. We had a river view. Friendly staff and good food, can't believe it's only a 3 star hotel. Good choice for breakfast. Free parking with plenty of spaces. Good choice of coffee and tea in the room. Free sky TV in room. Free Internet as well.
The only thing that I can say is there wasn't a light by coffee machine, so it wasn't easy to make drinks.

Not much to like .. the TV was ok
You don't have enough room here!
Let's just say had I paid £20 and not £104 I would have still been disgusted with the cleanliness of the room,!

The food was good
The bed was not comfortable, the floor in the bathroom one or two of the tiles were lose and there was a crying baby in the room next door.
