Buffet Breakfast met our expectations.
Our rooms were along way from each other.
Single room was extremely cold on 1st night, when I spoke to someone from the housekeeping dept next morning, they told me there was a problem with heating in that whole area.

Felt luxurious and the rooms were up to date and brilliant. The breakfast was exceptional.

Bed were comfy rooms clean
There was a function on the same night the music was very loud as were the guests that were staying in the hotel for the function. The rook was right above this area so was very disruptive

Location
The staff at the bar took too long to serve every customer as everyone was complaining. There was no heating in the room just a plug in heater. House keeping knocked on our door and opened it at 9:20am. All the sockets in the room stopped working so had no heating or use of facilities etc.

Hotel was close to the airport and convenient for us to stay last minute
Room was quite noisey due to the air con outside the room.

Great location for NEC, clean and comfortable
Staff on reception were great but we were ignored on 3 separate occasions by bar, restaurant and cafe staff.

Reminded us of a prison

Hotel was just a short walk from NEC,
The window in the room didn't close properly and as a result of this the room was very cold. When we asked if maintenance could close the window it was suggested we switch the heater on the in the room.

Hotel reception staff were nice
Our room got downgraded, The room we got given had not been cleaned, dirty towels, dirty bed etc
The second night we had another guest enter our room with their keycard which was extremely disturbing.
Will not be back again!!!
6.0
Convenient as I was attending an event in the hotel
There was a mix up on check in and I was given the wrong room which was quite a hassle to sort including being asked for ID twice before I was given the correct room

4.0
Restaurants.
Hotel facilities are up to the standards but the rooms are very poor quality, there was no mini fridge, sleepers or nightgown provided. There wasn't even a complimentary water in the room. I would expect that as a standard in Hilton Hotel and taking to consideration the price tag.

Close to NEC.
My groups rooms had external facing rooms on the first floor overlooking the Resort buildings. Sadly this meant that the celebration event for the Theo Paphitis Retail Group party had music starting at about 10pm till 1am so sleep was impossible. Plus, if you are allocated the Assistance rooms you will get the lift noise for all three lifts whenever used. This is a regularly complained about issue according to the Night Manager I spoke to. All in, be really careful because if they have an event on then in some rooms you will struggle to get what you pay for. More Club 18/30 than Hilton. This is an open complaint as of the time of writing.

The rooms were cold (the heating didn’t work), the shower was incredibly weak and again not hot. When you enter the hotel after walking from the NEC, you come into a random part of the hotel with no directions to reception. Also the sink in my room was blocked.

Breakfast has a vast selection.
The products in the bathroom were nice.
Breakfast room was extremely busy!
Toilets near our event room were not all working, so we had to walk quite a way to the other ones.
We had no option of a hot drink at lunch only water.
It was very cold in the event room.
The bar in the event room was considerably more expensive than the main hotel bar.

Check In was painful
5.0
The bed was comfortable. There was an iron and a hairdryer. One of the cleaning staff Maxine was the most helpful and friendliest staff members we met. She helped us find how to get to our room in the maze of poorly signposted (and mostly not working) lifts.
In order of how things happened. Check in was a complete mess. The majority of people's rooms weren't ready so there were loads of people including us left waiting and re-queuing at check in. Although there is some sign posting for meeting rooms and facilities, there was very little on how to actually find your room and which lift to use. There were several lifts not working, which others had said had been not working for some time. Very inconvenient when the hotel was very busy. When we arrived at our room, on first appearance it looked clean but on further inspection it wasn't great. One of the robes had a massive orange stain on it and the towels also had stains. The worst part was that the bathroom absolutely stank of urine. There was no visible dirt which we could see but the smell was overwhelming and polluted the room every time the bathroom door was opened (which housekeeping decided to do). No other toilet in the hotel smelled and they had hundreds of people using them. We had no hope of changing rooms as the hotel was fully booked for several events happening. The hotel bar had poor variety and was astronomically expensive. The bar staff while polite, seemed to have no urgency at busy times. The lobby smelled like fish for most of the day due to the restaurants locations so if you don't like fish you are limited to where you can sit without being nasely offended. We asked for late check out which we got (and paid for) however they deactivated our key cards anyway meaning we had to come back down to reception (after queueing for the umpteenth time for the lifts) when we were time pressured. Everything felt overly expensive including the cash machine which even charged a fee and the quality just wasn't there. We've had much better stays in budget hotels which managed to do a much better job of the basics.

service was excellent and clean.
bathroom dated and needed attention.

The staff were friendly although the young man making coffee had no training as barista.
The bed was very comfortable
The room was appalling. Super small the heating was a plug in heater! The elevator backed on to the main wall meaning it very noisy!

Staff were excellent and very obliging. The room was large and very comfortable. We dined in the bar for dinner and then breakfast in the restaurant, both were very good.
The hotel had recently been fully refurbished and is very smart, and of course in a great location for the NEC, rail station and airport.
nothing, it was excellent

The bed and linen were fantastic
Breakfast was good
Room service on both nights was 50min wait so didn’t work. You had to book to use the pool.
My tv didn’t work although they did upgrade me on the second night

The location was perfect for our visit to the NEC as we could walk there in a few minutes. The staff were professional and friendly and the hotel was comfortable. We loved the spa facilities (steam room & jacuzzi) and the two double beds in our twin room were an unexpected bonus. Fabulous!
The pool area & changing rooms were a bit dated but sufficient. We were disappointed with the bar where we had an informal meal and drinks. Quite expensive (£33 for a bottle of wine) and our sea bass & rice main course was a very small portion with overcooked veg. And no option of a dessert. So we didn't feel we had value for money.

The heat wasn't working in room I reported it and they said its a work in progress. Nothing was done. A plug-in radiator would have made all the difference .
The swimming pool was very dirty.
The food at dinner didn't taste good. The cocktail that was advertised on table was undrinkable.
One of the towels in the bedroom was dirty.

Our room wasn't ready so we had one with the air conditioning out of order, also there was a power cut in our room when I was in the shower and I couldn't see to get out so my wife had to phone reception to sort the power.
