Every was so lovely especially the staff in the spar

by otrzymac wiekszy wybor sniadania byla wymagana oplata dodatkowa, zbyt dlugi okres oczekiwania na kolacje, ponad 30 min na starter , basen dostepny tylko w restrykcyjnych godzinach dla dzieci i rodzin, wystarczylo by zrobic od 20;30 do 22:00 dla doroslych,

Hotel pratique dans le Solent

Nous séjournons régulièrement dans cet hotel que nous aimons pour sa situation proche de l'autoroute et pour son parking privé. Nous n'avons jamais été déçus.

Breakfast fine. Cooking all good. Swimming pool nice

Terrible outlook from bedroom but changed for rather better. Still very dark, single small overhang window. No chance of upgrade. USB not functioning

Lovely Hotel with great staff. Almost ideal!

Excellent facilities, brilliant staff, ample parking. Our room was so well equipped with a number of nice little touches. Loved the grass area at the back, on a sunny afternoon is was lovely to sit out with a drink.

The dining arrangements in the restaurant were very strange. Unfortunately on one of our nights access to the rear grassed area was at the back of the restaurant and this meant there was a constant flow of people passing the dining tables. Surely a better arrangement could be sorted out? Not good value considering how much the dinner cost. Perhaps this was just a one off.

Not helpful

Booked the wrong dates by mistake but no one seemed to care or willing to help change them. Lost over £200. Not a caring or forward thinking business.

Brilliant place to stay

Staff were all excellent, super friendly and on point. Little room items like the biscuits, range of coffee/tea etc were a lovely touch, bedding towels all very nice, extras after check in are brilliant, spa and facilities also really great.

Breakfast, despite booking there was a 10 minute queue which wasn't ideal, also ordered toast with breakfast which never arrived..... overall still great though, super tasty and really great options on top of the menu items.... but some really small bits would elevate to excellent.

Great choice for a short stay close to motorway and shopping facilites.

Spacious free car park, good location close to motorway, very good sized room. We used the restaurant and the food quality was good. Drinks however we thought expensive. The spa/pool facility looked popular although we did not use this. The staff were very reactive. Perfect for a short stay.

The reception area is small for a hotel of this size. No staff present at check out.

Milk despenser in the corridor dispensed milk that was out of date! Woken early morning by children running up and down the corridor, poor breakfast choices

Would come again

The restaurant staff and ground keeping staff were fantastic, the grounds keepers went above and beyond to help us when we had an issue with transport the following day. The room staff were also great and we had an excellent service. The breakfast was also excellent.

The rooms could have been a little more modern and brighter, they don't necessarily match the modern pictures, but that is a personal taste.

My Junior Suite was great to have some extra space! Where I was in the hotel was quiet - which surprised me as there was a wedding on!

It's a little tired in places - but I think they are making improvements. Didn't like it being a "buffet" breakfast but you have to ask for everything! If course you don't!!!!!

Really impressed

We both thought the room was clean and comfy we slept well in the bed and liked the sofa, desk and chair and also you can get milk and filtered water from the dispensers in the corridor and there is a mini fridge with glass bottles which is a nice touch, and it has a coffee machine with coffee pods.

The shower was a bit hard to use. the control was hard to move so it was either loads of pressure on but cold or hardly any pressure but hot

Relaxing Hampshire spa retreat a short drive from Southampton, Portsmouth and Winchester

Spa facilities were great, excellent gym and studio space too. The gym was kitted out with high spec technogym equipment. Bedroom was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The shower is powerful - possibly even too powerful. Location is really well situated for exploring Portsmouth, Southampton and Winchester and there are many local surrounding pubs to explore.

Breakfast is of good quality (continental and full English options cooked to order) but slightly expensive for what it is. Spa can become quite busy at times.

Room was spacious and well furnished with room to work and sleep. Bathroom shower was excellent, which is always a good thing. Dinner and breakfast were excellent as well - good diverse menu. All staff were courteous and attentive

Could have been perfect... but it wasn't

The room was quiet and comfortable. Beds were small but cosy. We have booked a family room for more space and that was a good idea. The family room is very good for 2 people. Kudoz to the reception staff (for dealing promptly with the unfortunate technical issue in our room) and the restaurant staff for making us feel really welcomed when we had dinner!

When we arrived the assigned room was cold and the the thermo control not working. Receptionists could see that on a control panel in their back office, but still gave us that room. Eventually, after we complained and threatened to go elsewhere, we've been given a similar room with working heating and everything was fine. The swimming pool was over crowded, could not find a sit to pose our towels. Sofas in the lounge area were stained and tatty. Internet in room was very slow and instable. I had a Zoom meeting in the morning and had to switch to my phone hotspot.

I liked the provided robes and slippers. I also enjoyed the decor and cleanliness.
