Location is very good, in the central Avenue, very close to all the attractions.
Room quite small, no wifi during our stay due to some issue

Good location, very central. The staff were very nice, apologetic about the lack of wifi. Allowed us to wait in the lobby before check in, and looked after our bags after we checked out. They responded quickly to the leak in the bathroom.
There was no wifi or TV the entire duration of our stay.
There was a leak in the bathroom.
There was a lot of construction work outside the hotel.
Everything was a bit run down.

Great location Clean Comfortable and relaxing
I didn't mind it too much. But the steps to the entrance were quite steep.

The staff are very friendly and very helpful! But what makes the hotel more special is the location! Enjoyed my stay there

Curtains were thin & allowed morning light in to illuminate room, safety deposit box small, I had to force travel wallet in, pillows to big and firm

Location great. Clean and tidy. Staff great. Easy to get to. Porto is a lovely city and enjoyed walking around. Breakfast nice but had to pay extra for it!!!
Bathroom basically amalgamated with bedroom separated by a glass partition. Good job my wife didn't stay. She would have insisted on another room.
Having to pay extra for breakfast!!!
Also, having to give the key to reception every time you leave the building is unnecessary and irritating. It doesn't achieve anything as I ended up losing a key!

The central Porto location is great, near metro and train, food, drink, etc. The staff were welcoming and accommodating and I ended up leaving my suitcase with the hotel while I spent 7 days walking on the Camino Portuguese. The hotel is older, well cared for and the rooms are larger than a typical European hotel room.
While the hotel is very clear about the fact that their lobby is located up 27 steps, it still is a bit of a surprise and challenge to lug a 20 kg bag up.

Location was great. Staff very helpful.
Not sure why we had just one bed...I normally wouldn't have booked that...could be my mistake.
The long flight of stairs to the front desk could be daunting to someone not fit, after a long trip.

The accommodation was exactly what I required in an area with very good transport links.
no faults at all

Location is superior, staff was very gracious and accommodating that made up for some of the hotel's defects.
A glass bathroom is a REALLY bad idea. The hallways could be noisy but we didn't experience that in the night. The back of the hotel is very quiet.

Old, budget but quality hotel within walking distance to train/mentro stations as well as nearby city attractions. Clean rooms with daily cleaning service (there is also a green option policy with towels etc). Quality matress and pillow. Bathroom with full amenities provided. Fast and quality wi-fi. Helpful and smiling staff, looks that they like their job and service in the hospitality sector.

Hotel in the city center, close to everything. Clean and newly renovated room. Friendly and helpful staff. Good quality breakfast.
Apart from getting a room with a blind window, the biggest issue was the heating. It is done via air-conditioning. Unfortunately, that one stops as soon as you take the card provided by the receptionist and leave the room. So, if you do not find a solution like using your gym or bus card instead and leaving it in the contact while you are away, you will probably have 15 degrees when you come back in the evening.

Very central location, convenient to get to everywhere on foot. Air conditioning works well without noise.

Great location. Old style hospitality hotel downtown. Close to metro and to monuments. Some rooms may have good sights to a busy street, others are just interior rooms with no views.
