The best you can stay in Ubud area. The breakfast is excellent and covers all tastes. The staff is polite and willing to serve you. The facilities are around the mountain and the river in the nature. The spa and the team are experts. We stayed two people in the villa with private pool and mountain view. I highly recommend it! Thanks for the perfect stay Royal Pita Maha !
Everything is perfect

The nature, the service, the view and villa. Everything was perfect.

Very big, romantic, with many activities
The price is too high, it's amazing experience but due to the high price it can't be afforded for more than few nights..
4.3
The views, pool and room are excellent.
The distance to room is quite far and steep.

We came to this hotel to celebrate our honeymoon and were shocked by amazing level of hospitality. As soon as we walked in, we felt like a king and queen, Widi and Putri and the rest of staff were so kind and the spa was magical! Highly recommend for everyone wanting a relaxing, luxurious experience with great views
It was all amazing

just that we had alot of encounters with animal’s inside the room like bugs a rat & geckos other than that everything was excellent

Location and the Staff
Poorly sealed doors inside villa which make bugs, lizards get inside.
Breakfast too small and limited (below 5 star)

We, a family of 3, booked a Royal Pool Villa - the rooms were very spacious and included a private pool with stunning forest vistas. Staff were very helpful. Beautiful lush green resort with traditional wood furnishing in the room. The resort itself is quite huge and has a public infinity pool, a flowing river and a small waterfall inside the property.
Dining: The resort gave a complimentary floating breakfast for one day. We dined at a restaurant by the river through which we saw quite a few rafting boats cross the rapids. Very good food and beverage options - both at the restaurants and for room service. A couple of days we asked for breakfast to be served in our rooms and they were provided without any problems.
Services: We required the services of a doctor and they assisted us immediately even though it was in the middle of the night. Since the resort is in the middle of the forest, we had to call the hotel to remove a couple of insects from inside the room - which the hotel attended to immediately without delay. No mosquito problems. The resort also arranged for a complimentary photo shoot. We had to pay for the digital photos though.
Taxi: Resort is about 20 - 25 mins from Ubud center. For travel to Ubud, they have complimentary drop offs 2 or 3 times a day. Rest of the time hotel car is available.
Nothing as such. As vegetarians, there were limited options for breakfast and Indian food. The resort is in the middle of the forest, you may sometimes have insects and lizards in the room which are harmless though.
The resort is located on a slope and we had to climb lot of steps each time. This point may need to be considered for people with mobility/breathing challenges.

Absolutely the best in Ubud! We have been to Ubud for a few days and each night we tried a similar price villa in a different resort, It is the easiest thing for me to say that The Royal Pita Maha was by far the best out of all!
To begin with, very very big resort full of master artworks of all kinds, beautiful Landscaping, super clean, Multiple Pools such as holy water pool and a lagoon along side the river, Its own waterfall, Im speechless about all the different things this resort can offer, its the whole package! Very Helpful staff, Very good Location, beautiful views everywhere, Lots of social media contents could be created. It was absolutely amazing.
Furthermore, the Villa itself was Huge, Super Clean and Super safe for the Ubud area, very well maintained, very comfortable, Large private pool overlooking the beautiful views, Large Bathroom, Two large Tvs, the only villa you would feel safe to use the pool even at nights. It was just exceptional!
At last but not least, this resorts had many restaurants compared to other resorts we have been and I must say the food was simply delicious, It was so good that we decided to go back from our next resort to here just for dinner, all our dietary requests were respected, and our floating breakfast was super super delicious, that you couldn’t resist to order more.
A bit of walking, it was not so much for Us but that was the only only thing that someone might not like about this resort.

Great facilities overlooking the river, beutiful gardens and pools. All well kept. It is really a place with good spirit. The room is huge and the view is great. Good breakfast.
This stay was agift to my wife on her birthday. I wanted to surprise her with flowers and ordered roses the day before, desicribing in detail that this is a surprise from me. Since I did not manage to make a payment for flowers the minute they sent a payment link, someone from the front desk asked her if she wanted to cancel the flowers since payment has not been received yet. My surprise was ruined and it is rather rude to ask someone to pay for flowers they were supposed to receive as a gift. I did not receive any apologies although I send two letters to the manager of the hotel. Silence. You can make your own conclusions, mine was simple: great facilities but severe lack of customer service.

All people in Bali are nice and the beautiful views are all over Bali, lets put that aside. We’re rating the hotel here.
This is the biggest CATFISH ever. This hotel shouldn’t be in the 5 stars category. This has to be 3 stars and less real talk. The hotel is very old and smells. Their food is not eatable and the water they put in the villas aren’t drinkable as well it has bad taste. They use the cheapest shampoo will ruins your hair. I paid premium and I got 2 star service. I should’ve gone to the Rritz Carlton. My biggest mistake. What a wast of money😡🤬 be ready to live with many cockroaches, lizards, and insects in your villa🤢 SUPER NASTY…..
4.3
Very friendly staff and good environment.
There were not too many options for breakfast and everything morning the food was nearly the same. There were a lot of insects in the room and you had to spray them quite often.
4.3
the serenity of the waterfall & jungle outlook was surreal
lots of bugs in the rooms
no gym
needs a shuttle for night time returning from dinner day around 9pm
4.3
absolutely beautiful surroundings in the jungle, room was lovely, very big and had our private pool.
it just didn’t feel 5 star lux for what we paid. I know you are in the jungle but there are bugs literally all over the room and the mosquito net smelt of mould so we didn’t get a good nights sleep at all.
4.3
perfect place for nature and privacy.
need to have more lights on the pathways leading to villas as it gets quite dark during night and fearful.
4.3
Villa was big, outstanding view
Renovation must be done. Big part of hotel is closed
4.3
location is not too far from Ubud center, the property itself is very nice but very poorly maintained.
The villas are big and spacious but extremely under maintained. Our roof was leaking at multiple locations, the bath, living room and room was full of water too. The pillows, bed, bath, curtains are all very dirty, they smell like mould. The curtains were black from mould. The same is true to the main pool beds, everything is just old and not maintained. The breakfast was maybe a 3 star hotel equivalent, tasteless poor quality food. The hotel needs to up their game if they continue to charge $400 per night.
4.3
- Beautiful view, lot's of green spaces.
- Staff was very helpful and kind.
- Lovely looking interior, amazing sculptures and architecture.
Both lobby and villas have incredible hand-made furniture and decorations. Its is absolute pleasure to look at, and left us speechless and fascinated!
- Bed and bed sheets were not very comfortable.
- Amount of forgs / lizards entering our room despite closed doors was way too big (probably due to the roof which is beautiful but not well sealed).
- While breakfast was nice, dinner at food at the restaurant was highly priced and not very tasty.
- Some furniture should be replaced since their look and comfortableness is questionable (f.e. pillows).
- No roof in the outdoor area (just fixed umbrella) to hide from sun or rain.
- Weak water pressure in the shower and bathtub, as well as water temperature consistency.
