I celebrated my 60th birthday with 12 family and friends and we stayed at Hotel Punta Imperatore. It was the most wonderful experience. The hotel is positioned well with amazing views. Giovanni was so kind and organised a private boat tour of with fun skipper Antonio who was also our driver. We ate and drank well, danced, swam and saw the beautiful island of Ischia. The hotel was absolutely stunning! The staff were so kind, fun and always attentive. You can tell they love their jobs! Shout out to the wonderful Giovanni, Grazia, Lina, Andrea and Renato!

The hotel has so much potential, it could be an amazing hotel with just a little bit of renovation. The location is great, the thermal pools are a great asset, the breakfast was good. However, I have the impression that this hotel was a luxurious hotel in the 50s but has not been renovated since.
Everything is so old, in desperate need for renovation.

Beautiful classic hotel with heated outdoor pools and breakfast spread (cheese, ham, fruit, coffee, cereal, eggs, etc and loads of cakes!) Seaview room was amazing. 2 minute walk to the beach and restaurants, 10 min walk to Poseidon spa. We visited end of May and it was very quiet but after Sorrento we were glad of this.
Shower was a bit small but didn't bother us.

Beautiful grounds, close to the water
walls were a bit thin and could hear a lot of noise

The proximity to the Citara beach and Giardini Poseidon was the reason to book this hotel. Unfortunately, we had bad weather and we did not enjoyed the sea, but two days in Giardini Poseidon saved our stay. The hotel is clean and the staff is great. The rooms are rather small but you do not spend much time inside except in case of bad weather.
There is more a 3* plus than 4*. Although there is a thermal pool, no bathrobe were provided. No magnifier mirror in the bathroom, no conditioner or body lotion.

The view from outside my room
The room smelled of like someone with urinary tract problem .However the room was clean.
The proximity of the beach was nice
Location of bus stop was good and so with rest is nearby.
I am not a big breakfast eater so the breakfast was ok with me.

The two pools were great. plenty of space. photos don’t do it justice. Buffet breakfast also good. Hotel all seems clean
Some rooms are a bit tired with cheap decor. Others were better though.

I fully join other positive comments from other guests, it is all true, but there was one episode that, which made me write a negative comment, see below...
Well, I travelled a lot but it was my first experience, never seen it before: at breakfast there are 2 options to receive your food. 1 - you go to a room where you take all yourself, as usual, where out of hot meals you have a boiled egg only. 2 -there is a room aside with food on tables, including omelet, cheese and prosciutto, but with an access, barred by a table, so you can't get in and need to ask a man to give what you want! During the first breakfast, I didn't know about this room and proceeded to Option 1, directed by a Russian - speaking lady, who, regretfully said nothing about Option 2. During the second breakfast I saw a line of guests, waiting for their time to ask for food , who actually stood on my way to Option 1 and I had to bypass it, so then I figured out that there was another room.
I came to a conclusion that the hotel staff would like to save up costs on the food, but for a 4-star hotel it shouldn't be a case. Above that, for a 4-star the food might be better, imho.

Very nice hotel located just a few metres from a sandy beach (there is also a bus stop nearby in case you would like to go to Forio or Ischia Porto). The hotel has a spacious terrace with a beautiful sea view. There are even ropes for drying swimsuits or towels, which we found very useful after returning from the beach. We were very pleased with our stay here.
In the evening, we could hear noises from the corridor (for example when people were returning to their rooms).

The location is good, really close to Poseidon thermal park. There is a private parking, don’t need to drive to go to the beach in front of the hotel or to Poseidon park.
The breakfast was poor, not good enough for the price. There are only croissants and all the beverages come from a machine (coffe espresso too, that’s not acceptable in Naples)

Availability is at home here. I had problems with my booking, but they helped me with no obstruction. Really good. The structure is still very nice with large outdoor spaces and a swimming pool.

The location of the hotel is really good, it's just few minutes from the beach and close to the bus stops. The hotel has a nice atmosphere, the room was clean and the staff was friendly! The breakfast they offer was quite good as well. I would like to come there again.
I believe it's a temporary measure caused by covid, but we didn't appreciate the amount of plastics used to serve the food during breakfasts. Maybe the air conditioning system in the rooms is a bit noisy, but for the rest everything was great!

+ Very friendly staff
+ Great Location (in front of Citara's beach)
- The breakfast organization (because of Covid) was terrible. Even if food selection was good, the process was very slow
