Enjoyable stay at the Bay House, couldn't of asked for anything more from hotel, recommended to all.

Location was excellent, Car Parking, Shops, Restaurants and the lake all within a few minutes walk. Breakfast was outstanding, no issues, very nice food along with plenty of tea, coffee and juice. Room layout was good with en suite, comfortable bed and quiet nights sleep.

Everything I’d expected and more!

Lovely guest house with lovely, welcoming hosts. Our room was spotless and the breakfast delicious. Location was ideal, nice and quiet but only a minute or two’s walk from the centre of Bowness. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others.

Wonderful, clean very friendly and informative accomodation and a credit to the owners

From start to finish our hosts were fantastic. Communication prior to our arrival and throughout our stay. The property itself was very clean and provided us with a comfortable place to sleep. The breakfast was exceptional and the small touches of home baked cake in our room added to this homely property. If we return to Bowness we would 100% stay again.

Very good

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The room was clean to very good standards. Very good location, within 1-2min walk to the lake. We had a comfortable stay.

The only minor point coming to mind is: breakfast was served for a short period of time 8:15-9am. We could not be lazy on our holiday :)

Excellent location, cleanliness Excellent, Owners friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable about where to go and also best places for eating. Room was very comfortable ,and only had to ask if needed tea etc replenished.Also ever morning got a lovely homemade slice of cake. Excellent value for your money, would definitely go back.Breakfast delicious , thanks for a brilliant stay.

Absolutely nothing, can't praise Maxine and Graham highly enough.Just sorry our week went to quick.

Good location. Minutes walk from the town centre. Enjoyable stay.

Lovely location. View of the lake from our room. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Room very clean. Delicious breakfast, and homemade cake.

No car parking facility. There is a car park minutes walk away.

Maxine and Graham were so welcoming, property was spotless and the breakfast was hearty.

The location was brilliant for the centre of town and the local parking was easier than I thought. Everywhere was kept spotless. Very friendly hosts. Loved the daily cake!

The early breakfast slot was a bit too early for me but that’s personal choice.

Guest house was clean and comfortable .Breakfast and location were very good .. The owners were very nice .

The view of the Lake was practically non existent ..so calling the Accommodation " Lake View " was misleading .. The room was very small as was the TV and the size of the "wardrobe " was ridiculous. The shared fridge that was on landing in the current circumstances ( covid) was just a crazy idea . There was no ironing facilities in the room and due to to the very limited clothes storage provided unless you wanted to do your ironing in the dining room you had no choice but to go out in creased clothing . Not good .
