Cute place in a nice location.
No elevator! But i didn’t mind that.

We enjoyed the variety of public spaces - garden, courtyard, patios, and reading room. The breakfast is excellent and it was really nice to have tea and pastries and fruit available in the afternoon and evening. And Villeneuve lez Avignon is relaxed and interesting.

This small hotel is perfectly located in the center of the village, and is really cozy and with "charme"
Our room was pretty small. Even the tub was nice, there was no shower, which is much more comfortable in my opinion...

ideal location in a quite outlying village just outside Avignon.
the staff, particularly Stevan could not have been more helpful, friendly plus they nearly all spoke excellent English.

Location, old building, design of the interior, internal yards for breakfast and leisure, breakfast, parking
Because the building is very old some doors close with extra efforts. But it was more a feature than a bug.

Perfect hotel to explore Avignon, whilst it is out of the centre, it is in a close village nearby, which is much less touristy but still full of lots of choices of restaurants. It is easy to walk into Avignon and we also got a little ferry boat across near the famous bridge, which the staff of the hotel recommended. It was a great way to enter the city. The hotel was very pretty and peaceful the courtyard was lovely to have breakfast in. The roof terrace was really nice and made the hotel feel even more spacious. The room was snug but very comfortable and we had our own terrace overlooking the garden, it was really sweet. We also really loved the completely water/tea/coffee that was available, it was perfect for coming in after a hot day and a really lovely personal touch.
I cannot fault anything in the hotel, the only thing we could say is we wish the hotel had informed us that many restaurants are shut on Mondays. If we had known we could have pre booked a restaurant. We asked a staff member for a recommendation on the day and they recommended Maison Bronzini, which looked lovely from the outside, however as not much was open it was already fully booked. Had we have known in advance there wasn’t many options on Mondays, we would have booked in advance.

We’re travelling for a month through Europe and this was our favourite hotel. Everything you need is here! Super helpful owner and staff, wonderful breakfast, huge rooms, great beds and showers. This hotel oozes French appeal. It had all the little touches that make it really welcoming and memorable. We spent the evening in the games and travel info room drinking wine and reading up on the local area. Fantastic authentic hotel with so much history. The owner is a wealth of local knowledge
We loved everything here

EVERYTHING! The staff were EXCEPTIONAL! So friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. This wonderful hotel is a shining example of why hotels should be given 5 stars on their merits and not just facilities.
Perfect in every way!
We will definitely be back.

Outstanding room with doors onto a private patio and very pretty garden. Lovely old authentic building, pretty garden and surroundings. Peaceful location, exceptionally comfortable bed, very friendly staff, the best breakfast of the trip.

Villeneuve-lès-Avignon is a little oasis just over the river from Avignon; it's far less touristy so a great place to stay with lots of excellent restaraunts within an easy walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is quaint and charming with a family feel to it. Breakfast was lovely and the shared spaces (especially the garden) are beautiful. The staff were all very friedly and gave us great advice for travel an restaraunts.
Sadly, the air conditioning is centrally controlled and was not enabled during our time there.
