Hotel agréable proche du centre.

Hotel proche du centre et très facile d'accès en voiture. Petit-déjeuner buffet de qualité et varié, dans un environnement agréable. Accueil très chaleureux et sympathique (en particulier Yasine). Chambre confortable et calme à l'arrière.

1 ascenseur en panne sur 2. Grosse attente pour monter à la chambre. Dans le garage mercure n’est pas indiqué alors que ibis l’est.

Ontbijt zeer ruim en uitgebreid, vers fruit, koffiekoeken, spek en ei, yoghurt, jus, koffie en thee......

Badkamer had bad met ingebouwde douche, waar de douchkop zeer dicht tegen de badkraan stond. Had liever een standalone douche gehad ipv bad. Geen WC borstel aanwezig in badkamer.

Excellent value hotel in a good location

Our Premier room was large and very comfortable for our family of four. The room was clean and well appointed with Nespresso and a few free minibar items. The shower was powerful. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant staff were lovely and able to assist us in English when needed. Good breakfast buffet. Excellent night stop off on our journey from the Vendée. The hotel is a short walk from the stunning historical centre of Rouen. We were able to park our large car featuring roof box and bike rack on the forecourt as it wouldn't fit in the underground garage.

Suitable for a couple of nights in Rouen.

Conveniently situated for a short walk to the old town and cathedral. Car park was useful.

I didn't like the paper cups in the room and the tiny pots of milk (even smaller than usual) for tea or coffee.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They welcomed our group with warm smiles and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect. Just a short 10-minute walk away from the Notre Dame of Rouen Cathedral, we were able to explore the city's historical gems with ease. Additionally, the Jeanne d'Arc church was only 20 minutes away. The convenience and accessibility of these attractions truly enhanced our overall experience. We were delighted to find a clean and well-maintained environment. The attention to detail in terms of cleanliness was evident, and it immediately put us at ease. The shower provided a refreshing and invigorating experience, and we couldn't help but appreciate the thoughtfully provided shower gel. Despite being centrally located, the hotel managed to create a serene atmosphere that allowed us to recharge and get a good night's sleep. The curtains were effective in keeping the room dark, ensuring we woke up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day.

In the first room the toilet flush was broken, the receptionist moved us without a problem, but the second room had background noise which sounded like the air con (but i had switched it off) so not the best nights sleep

The room fan/ac was central control so it did not turn on to circulate the air in the room. had to open the window that has no screen. location of the hotel is great.

Be careful to the room you chose before decide to book.

Good staff attitude, comfortable bed, room large, each day are change the towels, parking available.

Room under the bar and possible noise, no skin cream available, no slippers for tourists in room, the room view was in parking not outside the hotel.

Excelent location, value for money and excellent staff.

Great location for those driving and does not want to drive into the city Center. Can easily drive and park here. It has a secure basement car park. This hotel is just 15 - 20 mins walk from the Center area. The parking charges is 0.60 euro per hour. Great breakfast for 18 Euro.

It's easy to find the hotel (next to the Ibis) if you're coming by car, they have paid parking.

The choice of the hotel was made at the last moment, because when choosing the previous hotel, the booking showed that the transaction was not completed, but as it turned out the next day, he nevertheless withdrew money from the visa. Never save your visa details for a booking, she might automatically take them. The refund process is not yet complete, I filed a complaint with Visa, they have already replied that there was an error in the booking. The money was withdrawn only a day later, and the previous hotel was not shown as paid during the transaction. Thus, 2 different hotels were booked for one night, which we found out upon arrival at the hotel, not earlier. But a person cannot be in 2 hotels at the same time. They called the booking and could not help with the annulation, although it is their mistake that they did not show the completion of the payment for the first hotel and did not immediately send an email. This 2nd hotel in Mercure Rowan was chosen only because of the presence of a hammam, but it closed too early, inconvenient for tourists, and during the day I wanted to see the city, besides, upon arrival, the staff did not inform about its opening hours, the information was provided the next day. I was unlucky with the porter, I got not the most polite and fulfilling my duties, I waited for half an hour while she was talking on the phone. All our troubles were compensated by the fact that Rowan is a very beautiful city, which I want to return to again. And the whole of Normandy is gorgeous too! We visited several cities and got very pleasant impressions.
