The location and staff were ideal, and I would recommend staying at the Admiral.

The breakfast was terrific. There were lots of choices for a healthful amd tasty start.

While a kettle in the room would have been nice, the staff nevertheless provided one when asked. The bathroom was a bit small and the room did not have a desk. However, the room was quite comfortable.

Zu aller erst sei zu erwähnen alle Mitarbeiter:Innen die wir getroffen haben waren äußerst zuvorkommen und äußerst nett. Für alle aufgetretenen Fragen hatten Sie stehts eine Antwort und haben uns dadurch bei der Planung unseres Aufenthalts in München entscheidend geholfen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück hatte eine gute Auswahl und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Es war alles vorhanden Obst, Müsli, Pikantes, Speck, Eier, diverses Gebäck sowie Brote und auch traditionell Bayrisches war auch vorhanden. Wir kommen gerne wieder. :)

Aside from the bathroom, a perfect place to stay in Munich.

Location was good. Within a 10 minute walk to the Glockenspiel, subway, markets and an abundance of little shops and restaurants. Front desk staff were helpful in giving directions etc. The room had a small balcony and overlooked a small garden. While the hotel does not have a restaurant, they do provide a limited breakfast of boiled eggs, some fresh fruit, deli meats and cheese, cereal and coffee, tea and cappuccino in a charming breakfast room or outside in the garden. Room size is small and a/c did not cool off the room much.

The bathroom. Very, very small. Shower was the smallest we have seen (stayed in 9 hotels on our trip.) Decided my elbows were worth more than trying to washing my hair. As well, while the beds were comfy and made up daily, it did not appear that the floor was vacuumed. The room did have a closet however had to use the bed to open the suitcase. Because the hotel did not have a restaurant, no ice was available for drinks or water bottles.

Overall a nice hotel in a good location

Location was nice, pretty well located for easy walk into Marinplazt and also Isator metro station. Room was nice size

Room was very warm and air conditioning did not seem that effective and was very noisy. TV did not work. Breakfast limited choice

I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Munich.

The location to the center of Munich was terrific. The facility was very clean, and the staff was more than helpful.

Enjoyable stay

The hotel is perfectly placed in a quiet area but within an easy walk to the buzz. The staff is wonderful and the most wonderful member of the staff is Lily. The rooms are fresh and quiet. We did have a room with a street view and even though it is a quiet area, it was noisy to sleep with open windows but that was ok. The breakfast yummy. We loved our short stay.

Great for value

We arrived earlier than expected, and staff did their best to prepare our room as soon as they can. Rooms are very clean. I liked the size of pillows. Close to old city and riverside. 15 mins walk from tube station. Great breakfast. (mini pretzels are the best)

we were not able to use the TV. No channels were set.

lovely stay

Lovely hotel with spacious room, renovated and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed and sheets plus Netflix. Very close to Marienplatz. Helpful and polite personnel.

Room could be more warm. Breakfast tasty but with few choices.

Excellent cozy hotel in the center

Great location, friendly staff and delicious breakfast! The hotel is small but very cozy and comfortable. The rooms are really big with a large bed.

Bed linen wasn't changed during the entire stay - 1 week, this is really disappointing.

Lovely friendly hotel in the centre of Munich

This is a lovely little hotel in the centre of Munich. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the facilities were excellent. The breakfast buffet was nice.

A great location with excellent staff.

The location was nice and quiet but easy enough to walk to Marienplatz and other central locations. The staff were excellent - super helpful and their English was really helpful.

The room smelt of smoke as residents are able to smoke on their balconies.

Very good

The daily breakfast was very good and the garden you could eat in was a nice addition. The hotel is very accessible to downtown and public transportation.

It was unseasonably hot but the AC could not keep up.

Had a lovely stay with my family here.

The suite was essentially was a 2 room apartment without a kitchen. one of the most spacious accommodations we've had in Germany. I would recommend the suite for a family of 4 without hesitation.

The lift went to the 5th floor only and the suite was on the 6th floor so I had to drag my heavy luggage one floor up. However, given the layout of the building, I guess that's unavoidable, but it would be an issue for older folk who travel with heavy bags, or for people with mobility issues.
