das Ambiente

Wir konnten nachts kaum schlafen da außerhalb des Fensters ein Abzug sehr laut getauscht hat. Haben es morgens auch an der Rezeption gemeldet.

Agréable

La chambre est très bien et le petit déjeuner très copieux. Les transports en commun (tram) sont très proches 5mn à pied. Et nous avons pleinement profité de la piscine.

L'emplacement à proximité de phantasialand , l'accueil, et le restaurant était parfait, un bon rapport qualité-prix

Le parking payant mais possibilité de se garer à l'extérieur. Les tarifs du petit déjeuner 23€ , je trouve un peu cher surtout pour des enfants

Overall, everything was fine. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The swimming pool was great.

The bathroom was small, which isn't fitting for a 4-star hotel. Additionally, there were no towels available for the swimming pool.

Locatie

Ontbijt was eentonig, interieur is verouderd,slechte schoonmaal en 11 Euro per nacht voor parkeren had wel vooraf mogen worden gemeld. Absoluut geen 4* hotel.

Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Größe war auch ausreichend. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und vielfältig. Auch das Abendessen im Restaurant war sehr gut. Das Personal im Restaurant und am Empfang war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit bei Fragen.

Sauberes Hotel mit Möglichkeit zum entspannen, aber kein Wellness Hotel.

Das Frühstück war gut, kleiner Pool und kleines Schwimmbecken vorhanden.

Kinderschwimmkurs bis 18 Uhr im Wellness Bereich (nervig), teure Parkplätze (aber man kann vor der Schranke an der Strasse stehen), Umbauarbeiten im Foyer, keine Bademäntel oder Schlappen für den Wellness Beteich,

Klasse Service, das Zimmer in Ordnung

Der Service im Hotel war top, insbesondere der Service der Küche und das Essen waren sehr gut. Ich war für eine Schulung im Haus und hier würde alles bestens zur Verfügung gestellt.

Eine Flasche Wasser bei Ankunft auf dem Zimmer wäre eine schöne Aufmerksamkeit. Besonders wenn man spät ankommt und dann nicht mehr aus dem Zimmer gehen möchte. Informationen zur Internetverbindung habe ich auf dem Zimmer auch erfolglos gesucht, dank genügend Datenvolumen aber nicht weiter nachgefragt.

Super hotel one more time (3 consecutive year)

The hotel was really good. Really nice rooms and beds. The breakfast was superb, plenty of choices and they never run out of anything. The staff was always courteous and really helpful, they make you feel that you are in a high standard hotel. I used the swimming pool and sauna and they are really well maintained and clean and a joy to use. They are not massive but it is perfect for recreational use.

Nothing to do with the hotel but at the moment we were there, the tram line 7 that is the main and useful connection to the city center was with repairs. That made our commuting to the center of Cologne a bit less comfortable and we ended up using a lot freenow and taxis (including an unpleasant experience with a local taxi driver that wanted to scam the tourist...). So, few advice for fellow travelers: - Don't be discouraged for the distance from the hotel to the city center, with the tram you are in no time and comfortable in the city center (the stop is just 5 mins walk from the hotel). - Always check the transport pages to be up to date with works, etcetera... - Don't trust local taxi drivers. Always use an app with a closed prices for your trip. Really disappointed with that.

Perfect.

The bed was wonderful. The rooms were adequate. Exactly what I expected. The hotel had a parking space which I could use for free. There are possibilities to do some shopping in the area. Cologne city center is only a tram ride away and a station is just a walk away. Saves you all the hassles of finding a parking space in the city center.

The room was spacious, bright and clean. The bed was on the harder side but still comfortable enough. There was instant coffee and tea and a kettle provided in the room.

It was difficult to turn on the air-conditioning at the right settings, even though we set the temperature at 17 degrees, the room stayed very warm and the air was dry during the night. Also, the water in the shower did not properly flush away after an average time of showering.

Price of breakfast is a bit too expensive. Sheets are not very breathing and caused overheating and sweating. Shower in a bath tub is tricky and causes sliding and falling.

Definitely not worth the money.

Cleanliness was good, though there was a chemical smell in the bathroom - old I guess. Staff was professional, though some of them not very warm and client-oriented. The beds were comfortable but not the pillows. Unfortunately I cannot think of anything else good.

Terrible pillows. We had to ask for another, and still were uncomfy. The electrical sockets are not all next to bed - only one. So not practical. Paying €10 for the parking/per nigh was the senseless abuse. I find €21 for breakfast also exaggerating - I understand they want to compensate for the losses during Covid, but this is not fair. Definitely not a nice memory to look forward to going back to this so-called hotel. If you just need a place to sleep desperately, go ahead and book it. Otherwise, better pay a higher price elsewhere but at least with less abusive policies. No excuses accepted. They are merely superficial. Thanks.
