The view of the Rhine Valley from the terrace, restaurant and my single room was exceptional. Worth the stay alone.
A bit of confusion with the reservation. Mine “was on a different system”.
6.0
The view over the river
Dirty carpets, glass in hall with other debris, place mats dirty, tables still had crumbs from the breakfast service, just not clean. The room smelt very unpleasant.

Good location the tree climb experience with great views of the Rhine. The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold item. The small pool was both clean and empty.

Dinner buffet a dear I thought. Great view across river in the sun. Really foggy next morning. room tiny. Brekkie good.
Nothin, other than riding my bike up the hill to get to the entrance and waiting for the desk clerk to help check me in.

Breakfast was good. The room and bathroom were large. Bed was comfortable.
The room was very cold (once we turned the radiators on, it did warm up). The previous guests in our room had left a picnic and clothing behind. We would have expected this to have been discovered and removed before we got there. Beautiful bathroom but eye-wateringly smelly. The smell went once the shower was used. We specifically chose this hotel as the reviews on booking.com said the restaurant was excellent with an à la carte menu. It also said they catered for dietary requirements. They also had a reasonable length of dinner service. However dinner was just awful. There was a private party in the restaurant so the only option was a buffet in a dull conference room. We booked for 7.30pm but by then the food was overcooked and barely lukewarm. The other guests eating had got there earlier and some serving dishes at the salad section were already empty and not replenished No vegetarian option was available (reception had been informed) and I was marched over and shown potatoes and vegetables as being things I could eat. We noticed two other guests having different food delivered to their table.
The hotel doesn’t appear to have a bar. There is a fridge with an honesty box next to the restaurant but we didn’t discover this until the next day. We didn’t like to explore too much because of the private party. We couldn’t leave the hotel to go looking for a decent meal as the weather was awful and we were already soaked after a long day in the rain on a motorcycle. What a horrible stay.

The view was amazing. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The restaurant was excellent and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The gym, pool and sauna were also nice.
We liked everything

Room was nice size. Had balcony (which had not been cleaned properly)
Restaurant. No a la carte menu. Outside terrace reserved for the corporate guests. Left us with sticky interior seating, which unacceptable.
Inconsistent staff quality at reception . Really nice at check in. Really snotty and disrespectful at check out.

The staff were friendly and the location looking down across the Rhine was lovely.
If over 100 Euros a night for a standard double room in a three star hotel is paid, then a daily cleaning service in which the beds are made, any cups used are removed and the bathroom wiped down, can reasonably be expected. They are integral aspects of a three star hotel's basic services and why people choose a hotel over an apartment anyway. On booking.com a daily service is listed. However, apparently on the hotel's own website it is described as being done only every third day. This is just unacceptable at that price. For these reasons I would not return.

great view of the river and a nice place to rest and relax

the location with restaurant and view over the romantic part of the Rhine is exceptional. The restaurant had white asparagus on the menu and local draft.

We like the swimming pool here, also the view over the Rhine is lovely. The food in the restaurant is also good, although we thought it seemed a little more corporate this time. I also enjoyed the breakfast.
The cd player and coffee machine in the room was a nice touch.
I can't think of anything specific that we didn't like

Excellent location, good service , very good breakfast, fantastic view on the Rhine river from the balcony.
6.3
Friendly staff. Great dinner. Free parking on site. Panoramic views. Warm pool area and water, sauna turned on anytime on request.
Quite run down, especially the rooms and the pool area. Nothing like the pics suggested. Value for money not good. Nothing to do nearby without a car.

We liked the staff, food, rooms, sauna, pool.
From the restaurant a great over the Rhine, beautiful in the morning sunset
The hotel is nicely located and has a great view over the Rhine.
Unfortunately there is a road a bit lower between Rhine and hotel that is a little loud.
