Bedsheets not clean ( hair under bedsheet) Daily cleaning is not optimum (things not retained to its places, e.g:iron, table, used fork kept not clean for 5days, cake developed fungi.etc.) Toilet not clean Utensils not fully resupplied upon cleaning

Very awful, not worth your money at all.

There were bedbugs in my room and the staff knew about it and didn’t enlighten me. Ended up having super itchy and painful bedbugs bites all over my body. In the middle of the night I woke up and I felt something creeping over me, it was bedbugs so i took a picture and send it to the hotel reception. The staff was not helpful at all, I changed rooms in the middle of the night due to unhelpful staff some of my stuff remained in the previous room and when I asked for my stuff they told me they didn’t found anything. Also don’t book your activities at the desk near the reception in the hotel, you’ll pay triple the price. It’s best to look it up on internet, it will be much cheaper. Breakfast is of bad quality, they do not clean the room properly, it’s still very filthy.

Mixed Feelings About My 5-Star Hotel Stay

Room: Starting with the room, I was surprised by how small it felt for a hotel that’s supposed to be top-tier. A balcony would have made a big difference, giving some extra space and a spot to enjoy the view. Unfortunately, that wasn’t an option. Breakfast Experience: The main restaurant where breakfast was served had an unexpected vibe. The mix of different banquet chairs and tablecloths with the regular furniture looked a bit messy for a place that’s aiming for luxury. The buffet area was also too cramped, making it hard to navigate during busy times. On the bright side, the food variety was impressive. However, they could definitely work on their healthy options. Adding sugar to a chia pudding doesn’t really scream “healthy” to me. Club Lounge: I also had access to the club lounge, which was underwhelming, especially at breakfast. The options were too limited for what you’d expect. During happy hour, there was plenty to drink if you’re into alcohol, and lots of snacks that weren’t on the healthier side. Since I prefer not to drink and like eating healthy, the lounge didn’t offer much value to me. Swimming Pool: The pool was nice but smaller than I’d hoped. For someone who loves swimming, it felt a bit restricting. Staff: The highlight of my stay was definitely the staff. They were professional and polite, living up to the hotel’s high standards.

While there were parts of my stay that were great, like the food variety and the staff’s service, other aspects didn’t quite meet my expectations for a 5-star hotel. The room size, the chaotic breakfast setup, and the limited club lounge offerings were letdowns.

Comfy property with bad and soft mattress

We had a special offer, so it was a great price/quality combo. Decent breakfast, clean and comfy room, nice pool and ok gym

Terribly soft mattress makes sleep quite uncomfortable. I felt very unwell the next morning. Strong urge to owners and managers to consider changing it - hotel is for sleep mainly

Mövenpick Hotel & Apartments Bur Dubai, a solo traveler's haven, boasts an outstanding staff, notably Francis, Venkat, and Yadav, who went above and beyond during my six-night stay, making it stress-free and memorable. The friendly team, including Daniel and Nader, adds to the welcoming atmosphere, while the well-equipped apartment, attentive service from Abubaker, and comfortable amenities, such as the rooftop pool, contribute to a delightful experience. Despite the absence of a balcony and a dryer, the convenient location in Oud Metha, with excellent dining options and transport links, makes this hotel a definite choice for future stays.

Awesome start

Buffet breakfast. Swimming pool for kids with table tennis. Little birds club Events, brunch for Christmas.

Chambre vue sur patio et très peu d’éclairage du jour. Beaucoup de bruits dus jour et nuit aux familles avec enfants qui occupaient le même niveau.

Good location. Cooperative staff.

Staff were very cooperative. Cleanliness was good.

Breakfast was always crowded with limited space. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which was in a building behind the actual hotel. This was disappointing, probably an oversight by us while booking. However, As a goodwill gesture, They offered to give twin rooms in the hotel but we had settled in by then. Ok experience overall.

Excellent Rooms and Service. Highly recommend to stay here.

Rooms were really big and comfortable. There is an open space outside with a Starbucks. Very nice place to have a nice coffee and have office discussion or hang out. Very peaceful place. I loved it…

Breakfast could have been a little more. Even the spread is good enough, I thought it could have more choices. Cars pickup area is a little narrow and cars are getting congested near the entrance.

Staff Attitude comes from the top once duty Manager Mohammed is behaving badly to us

I was very disappointed, I think I wasn't in Mövenpick Hotel I will not back and not recommend it

just location

1- the size of room is small 2- the refrigerator was empty 3- no any welcomes room service was too bad, the cleaner didn't do any thing just arrange the bed(didn't put more towel, didn't change the 4- dirty towel, no tissue, smell of room bad 5- waiting long time to pick up my luggage at the end I picked up my luggage 6- many things need to be fixed in this hotel, I can't write about every single mistake

I like the staff..very friendly and accomodating specially the one's in the reception.

the restaurant is really small for the amount of guest coming in specially during breakfast..there is a mismatch between number of rooms vs the size of your restaurant. you should work that out and not ask the guest if they are finish eating and saying if your just drinking, we may transfer you to the waiting area. Imagine? 5 start hotel.. asking to to hurry up?

It was below our expectations

Location is not bad. The area designated for breakfast is not appropriate to the number of hotel guests and we had to wait in the lobby for sometime to be seated. Quality and variety of buffet is not a five stars standards and the quality of service is not appropriate.

The level of cleaning in the rooms is not good The noise level is high in the main lobby area mainly at night.

The attitude of the reception staff in the main hotel and the poolboy and the house keeping

The room itself, it not comportable, its hot and the aircon is not working well inside my bedroom, there is no plants inside the room and its more like an old hotel apartment
