Taj in general wonderful hotels to stay in, I ve never get disappointed on staying at taj hotels, incredibly welcoming pure Indian hospitality and staff are always there to help you about anybody you need with a big smile on their face 7/24. Whenever and wherever I am in Taj I feel very welcomed and extremely safe.
Unlike other 5 stars hotels staff are not overly acting to get good tip. Also I had 2 diners at the restaurant in hotel called oudhyana, amazing! Still remember their amazing food , big big thank 🙏🏼
also I think Lucknow is very underestimated city however there are a lot to visit with a deep historical background ! I ll definitely go back to this city and again stay at Taj Mahal 🤍
Everything was good 🤍

It was not UPTO mark
More options could have been there

It is a beautiful property and the rooms are quite spacious and well decorated.
I expected to have very nice Lucknowi food at the restaurants. But the food was very disappointing. It was not at all flavorful.
The staff are very courteous but I ordered ghost biryani and I got chicken biryani. Staff could not provide recommendations on what to order.
We ordered extra towel but our towels were taken away instead and no replacement provided.
Since one is paying a lot of money you have high expectations on service and quality of food.

Pleasant indoors and pool area. Nice breakfast, served by well mannered staff. In-room dining was also great, served timely and good value for money.
Swimming pool could be bit more clean but overall very nice place to relax. River front is not as exciting as it appears in pictures, mainly due to smelly river (no fault of the hotel ;).

Right from the hotel GM Mr Ranjit Singh & all the hotel staff was extremely cooperative
and the service was impeccable. Great Awadhi food perhaps the best " Tunde ke Kabab" in the city.

The room although neat and tidy was somewhat tired looking

Good pool, breakfast and rooms. Everything clean. Service of most staff was good. I fell ill during my stay and the staff was very helpfull with me.
Reception staff was hard to deal with. Something simple as extending our stay took 5 visits to the desk. Also accidentally overcharged us.

the property has such a beautiful old world charm. the staff was so polite, gentle and the way they were with my kids is something that I loved the most. my daughter who is 6years old must have called the room service so many times and they were so patient every time.

Staff were very accommodating of the room preference request and the birthday surprise. Breakfast was delicious, with an exceptionally friendly but unobtrusive staff. The car tour of the city was very satisfying, with Taj being very helpful with my requests during shopping and him being on top of the schedule considering my flight time. It was a perfect weekend holiday for me!
Nothing!

Breakfast OK but quality of ingredients going down. Sausages cereal no longer 5 star standards. Then desi culture creeping in. Teas in glasses this bun maska thing. Not corporate. Not for public school crowd. Well but I must admit that most of the crowd in there now is PLT people like them and not PLU people like us.
It was December 28. The Climate Control system didn't go above 21 deg C to 26 in heating mode. Bad. We slept with the system off.

very comfortable bedroom, good shower, wonderful hairdresser Manmohan, very nice customer relations.
The restaurant is very expensive and when I asked for yoghurt to help tone down the food I was first given yoghurt in a bowl, then some boy came and threw down a yoghurt in a plastic pot. not the standard you would expect from the taj brand and from a restaurant of that price. this was a special occasion for us and it was spoiled

This is a special property which is beautifully designed inside and out and run by utterly charming and well-trained staff throughout the hotel in every service.
There is only an outdoor unheated (freezing cold!!) swimming pool
