Excellent location, close enough to the railway station. Very quiet area with pleasant walks tight nearby. Both restaurants on the property are excellent and well worth a visit.
On the morning of my second day there I informed the front desk that I did not want any housekeeping services. Upon my return from exercise, obviously, housekeeping had entered anyway and replaced all the towels and neatened up the room. Waste of time and effort, and a bit of an invasion of privacy ...

The location is excellent. The breakfast was very good
We have been staying at this hotel twice a year (on our way to and from Greece) for many years. We have always appreciated the calm, the service, the excellent restaurant and the welcome. This year we were extremely disappointed and shall probably be looking for another hotel in the future. We had announced our arrival for 18.00. The room was entirely unheated. After setting the thermostat at 22C we waited half an hour but the room still remained unheated. I rang the reception (totally unsatisfactory welcome and attitude) and was informed that they were going to set the heating with a computer (?). We then started having a ventilator of hot air blasting into the room, and the thermostat showed 27C. It was impossible to regulate it. On the way to the restaurant I wanted to speak to the receptionist who was busy, and deliberately ignored me. On our return there was nobody there. We had a very uncomfortable night trying to turn down the heating - which was directly over my bed. The next day I complained to the receptionist who said she would speak to the director - and as we left we were given a bottle (or rather half) of wine. I wish that I had declined. An apology would have been more appreciated. Altogether a very disappointing stay.

Expensive, but absolutely fantastic hotel / spa - one of the best places we've ever stayed, with incredible pool(s), spa, and flamingoes in the garden. Nice well-maintained bikes for free use. Excellent breakfast.

The property was very relaxing, we were greeted by the person at the reception very warmly and shown to our nice room with excellent shower! The fish restaurant was excellent and all of the waiting staff were very polite and attentive, we received a wine which the sommelier suggested was bad/corked and so he immediately set about suggesting wines which would be nice and similar from the local area. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and the man was again very welcoming and helpful. The spa was excellent and very relaxing and the music therapy pool was also great. Overall the whole place gave off a very relaxed and secluded vibe to it, and did not feel crowded at any time.

Amazing location. Beautiful nature, very peacefull, greate place to just run away from daily routine and enjoy. Stuff was amazing. Everybody very kind. They really make you feel special. Attention to small details is amazing. Garden is just wow... I would give them 11, if I could.

The Flamingo restaurant was the best food I had ever had and reasonably priced. The resort was in a rural industrial area but you wouldn't know as the grounds were lovely
The wellness centre was a bonus but highlight was food. Will travel back for food alone!

Very nice environment, friendly staff. We ate the best pasta in Italy in their restaurant. Really nice location to have some chill days at the end of our very active holiday in Italy.
You could not choose your sunbed next to the pool (the staff used a reservation system), I had never experienced this before. Was a bit strange :). But in fact minimal compared to all the positive.

Fantastic property and gardens, lovely pool area. Everything was very quiet and relaxing.
What was really disappointing for us was the restaurant. Our expecations are not ridiculous and we're always happy to pay a decent amount of money for good food. But the food was just not good. Since it's the only restaurant on the property, we had to drive to the city for food on the second evening.

Modern facilty. Very relaxing.
Sun lounges around the pool are all reserved and they gave us some distant ones.
