I liked the polite employees at reception, in the breakfast room and concierge helping g me with the language. The owner was very kind putting guests at the first place. Location is great and price is reasonable.

Property was lovely.
Bar shut at 9.00 pm.
4.3
The hotels location was superb. The staff were friendly and the room was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable.
The breakfast was disappointing
4.3
The staff were very friendly and gave us good advice on restaurants. They recommended a one-day trip to Vicenza which was very worthwhile. The room and the bathroom were large comfortable and well cleaned. The breakfast had a good choice of items and the coffee was good. The hotel is located in the center of the city just behind Piazza Bra where the Arena and restaurants are.
4.3

Location, comfort
Not good attitude of personal. Very formal. Refused to give the iron and suggested to negotiate with their service for pressing. Not normal for 460 EUR per night.
4.3
Service and breakfast were great
Room was very small.
4.3
Posizione eccellente, centrale. Struttura elegante e confortevole, molto pulita ed accogliente.Personale professionale e molto cortese. Ricca colazione.
4.3
La posizione centralissima, la bella struttura storica, la gentilezza e disponibilità delle persone alla reception, che mi hanno anche dato ottimi consigli per le visite della città.
Insonorizzazione in camera carente.
4.3
4.3
The atmosphere, the position,very central
A few of the facilities were not working properly
Minor issues

Breakfast was very good, staff there very friendly.
Front desk attitude brusque and irritable.
4.3
Hotel location is perfect

Stunning fin de siecle decor, very large room and bathroom.
Perfect location for sightseeing.
Extremely good breakfast.

The Hotel Colombo d'Oro is very centrally located in downtown Verona and is therefore ideal for visiting the historic old town. The availability of a guest parking space is a big plus.
The staff, especially at the front desk is pleasantly friendly and approachable, the breakfast is good. My room was absolutely clean.
It was quite warm during my stay and I tried to lower the room temperature for a comfortable night's sleep, but I couldn't. Not sure the air condition was working?
The price for a single bed room outside the peak season was on the upper end... but well.... the location... ;-)

wonderful location, staff was very friendly and helpful

- Excellent location.
- The building is really nice. Lovely decor. Really liked my room. Really pretty interiors and a wonderful view over the garden.
- The breakfast was delicious.
- Towels and a hairdryer were provided.
- The duvet was really thin and only two thin pillows were provided. More pillows would’ve been appreciated. It was a bit uncomfortable sleeping at night.
- The bathroom didn’t have nice complimentary equipment. For instance the box that said “shower cap” didn’t have a shower cap. Also these amenities (E.g. shower gel) weren’t replaced each morning which was disappointing.
- I would’ve appreciated tea/coffee making facility in the room as most hotels do. Found it strange that such a pricey establishment like this didn’t have any in the room. Instead there was a minibar that had charges for tiny bottles of lemonade and coke, which seemed like a rip off.

beautiful early 19th Century hotel building with wonderfully decorated reception area.

really great value for money. staff were sooooo friendly. breakfast was all we wanted. excellent location. everything close by.
climb in the bathtub was not so ideal with the small showerhead (atleast they had a bath).... a family with small children will enjoy that more.

great location
4.3
Nice receptionists,
beautiful decor,
big bathroom and it's facilities and lots of towels,
long balcony,
room, separated into 2 rooms like a suit with big mirrors everywhere.
Good lighting in the room.
Location is very central.
- aircon is being turned off by a hotel for several hours in the morning and night. I was there in winter and get cold really fast, so it was cold for me at night. I assume its the same for summer, might get really hot. They should let guests control it.
- the mattress and pillows were hard, so if you have any physical conditions that may be affected by that, its not a good option for you
- the key isn't the card key, its a big metal thing attached to a real key with the name of a hotel and your room number so if it gets into wrong hands, they will know exactly where to go. Plus it takes a lot of space and may not fit into all pockets. Def need a purse for that.
4.3
good location and friendly staff
no tea/coffee available in the room
4.3
Very nice period features, great position. Easy parking (fee + book in advance)
Breakfast was ok but not great.
4.3
the luxe building and the breakfast. Loads of choice in cable tv
the location for foot travelers
4.3
Absolutely everything was fantastic: amazing plentiful breakfast, the most central location, nicest staff…
4.3
Great style, perfect central location, professional and friendly staff, nice breakfast, and very comfortable sleep!
4.3
Lovely hotel, prime location. Staff are super friendly. The room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast has plenty to offer. Beds comfy 9 out of 10.
The pillows have seen better days, time to change them. Apart from that, can't fault anything else.
