everything was just great. stayed there 6 nights, had only breakfast which was very nice. I’ve read other reviews saying that they should have more
different things to eat in the morning - I think they had more than enough. the staff was fantastic, always ready to help, always smiling, great at interacting with kids.
the hotel is at 7-8 minutes walk from Afytos center so plenty of places to have lunch or dinner. the beach is a bit too crowded with sunbeds but for what I know the beach is not owned by them. the right side of the beach provides a bit more space between sunbeds thought.
the room was big enough, the bed was very comfy. cleaning was done everyday, clean sheets and towels every day as well.
haven’t stayed by the pool but there are 2 of them so plenty of space to accommodate everyone.
the music is non-invasive, you can hear yourselves talking when staying im the pool area or the bar terrace. the hotel is situated on the coast so the view is fantastic.
overall a fantastic stay, great value for your money
nothing to mention here

Beautiful view, very clean rooms and general areas, two pools, very well trained staff.
Although breakfast had many things to choose from, the offerings were not always of the highest quality or prepared appropriately. Also the beds were quite uncomfortable.

Extremely nice staff crew, all are smiling and helpful with information, extremely polite and respectful. Great pools, the bigger one is 0,9-1,5m deep with sea view. Clean and spacious rooms each with a separate entrance, two balconies, the pictures I saw were exactly from the room I got to stay in. They've thought about almost everything I needed. The restaurant has a great sea spacious view and good food. Overall great place for a calm and relaxing stay.
For a family with a 5yo child the atmosphere is too quiet, I was afraid to let the kid be a kid and was shushing all the time. Everyone is keeping their voices down and a child's giggle is a loud sound all throughout the facility. Not many children there, only 2 apart from ours. No children's pool, the 0,9m and the wide stairs are the only options. Food is good, but it depends on the cook for the day, the meals were too salty for our taste, besides the salads. If you're planning dinners know that the bar though separate and paid, is partly sharing the same space as the prepaid dinner area. The stairs to the beach are not suitable for small children!!! They're big, made of round stones, huge bushes surround and way too much to descend regularly. There's a road leading down, but it's not pleasant. Overall a great experience, with minor and few issues.

When we eventually got the room we had booked - a junior suite with sea view - we were very pleased with it. This room was spacious, light, and comfortable. The hotel is clean throughout, and a good breakfast is provided until 11.00am. The pool is a perfect temperature, in an attractive setting with flowers and palm trees. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is set outside Afitos town, a pleasant fifteen minute walk into the centre. Overall, a good place for a vacation.
Upon arrival, the room provided did not match the pictures of junior suite with sea view (as booked) on general website advertising. Our initial room was ground floor, dark, and limited sea view due to the extent of ground and pool in front. Furthermore, the window where the bed was positioned opened directly to the adjoining room's terrace, so the blind had to remain closed to preserve any kind of privacy. We brought this to the attention of the reception staff. An alternative room was provided, but this was not until the third day of our stay, so we had to keep most of our things packed ahead of that change. The staff were generally very good and friendly, but one person argued that our first room was correctly allocated, her argument when I showed her a photo I had taken, and compared it with the advertised picture was "sea view is only from the patio" (even taking that into consideration, the view was not much more than a glimpse!). We requested late check out on our last day, and accepted a move to a day room at a price of 70 Euros, but were told shortly before usual check out that it was no longer possible to provide this - it would have been better to know sooner. Finally, as mentioned previously, it is a very lovely pool / pool area, but sunbed availability is limited, and should be increased for a hotel of this size.

Breakfast was fine - but can be changed from day to day. The location was great ! wonderful view to the beach, really amazing. So relaxing hotel with a great atmosphere.
Everything was great! I would add/ change a few stuff for breakfast - so that if people stay more than 4 days, they have more variety.

First time experiencing this bad service and such a rude customer service. First of all, I have stayed in many 5* hotels as Sofitel, intercontinental, four seasons etc. A friend of ours came by the hotel to say hi. He parked his van, outside the hotel, next to the exit, on the grass, since he wanted not to occupy a parking spot on the since since he was a visitor. The car wasn’t even blocking anyone and anything being even outside the hotel area. After a couple of minutes being in my room, I received a phone call by the receptionist with the most rude way ever, demanding to move the car, speaking with a attitude, even tho I didn’t now what’s going on this this moment. We are so shocked. We reply that the car will be moved in 5 minutes and he agreed saying okay. 1 minute later the owner of the hotel knocked the door and he started shouting a me (me being almost naked because I just had a shower) and saying MOVE THE CAR NOW, pointing he’s finger to me being furious and shouting to me as I was a animal. We were shocked. I asked to leave the hotel immediately since I have never experienced something like this in my entire life.

The views from both the restaurant, pool and room balconies are gorgeous. Most of the staff are lovely, smiling and friendly.
Please read this review in its entirety.
Arrival - 3:15 pm and although the room and check-in time was stated and confirmed by the hotel as 3:00, we had to wait until 3:40 to be checked in to our room. I will say that the view is beautiful from both the restaurants and from our balcony.
Staff was generally very friendly and helpful...and apologetic because...
Room - AWFUL and definitely not 4 star. Door lock, phone, TV. and room keys didn't work. They were able to fix the TV (next day) but nothing else. The WiFi was almost non-existent. I'd say it probably worked about 20% of the time, and didn't seem to matter where you were in the room. Bad coverage everywhere.
Bed - AWFUL. Worst bed I have ever slept on. I literally had to pull the cushion from the exterior patio chaise lounge and wrap it in a sheet in order to sleep on it. The bed could have been made of concrete and been softer than these beds.
Food - how many times can I use the word AWFUL? We ate at the evening buffet the first night and refused to repeat that mistake the rest of the stay. I stuck to hard boiled eggs, greek yougurt and coffee for the breakfast buffet which is included in the nightly price. Do yourselves a favor and either take the few minutes walk into Afytos or get a taxi. Your dining options are far better and way less expensive.
When I pointed out the room and key card issues - again - at check out time, they were apologetic but only when pressed would they remove a few bar tabs. Wait....hold your breath...they took off a whole €20 from a €900+ bill. They could have removed the one dinner bill (€50) but chose not to do so.
So while the staff - especially front desk, cleaning, and bar / servers - are kind and smiling that doesn't offset all the inconveniences and mostly inedible food.

Blue bay hotel was so lovely to stay, the hotel had modern interiors and was immaculately clean. The room was fabulous with a lovely external terrace overlooking the Aegean Sea, the hotel catered mainly to couples, however we have a toddler but didn’t feel at all unwelcome. The hotel was incredibly relaxed, the swimming pools were lovely and also silent (no music) so you could chill out, read a book, listen to your own music or podcast. Thoroughly relaxing and the staff gave an impeccable service along with a friendly manner. The inclusive breakfast was also very good, we did eat once in the main restaurant for dinner but the offering was disappointing and there are many local very good places to eat. The location was a short walk from afitos which is a gorgeous traditional Greek town. We would definitely return to the Blue Bay Hotel!

The hotel is very well equipped, two swimming pools with a very comfortable sun beds, enough for everyone. The view from the hotel, terrace and the restaurant is a breathtaking! The way how they clean the rooms and the common areas is an excellent and they do follow all the rules regarding COVID 19.
The way how they had organized the breakfast was very slow and a bit irritating. Instead of giving gloves to the clients they have been serving all meals and drinks upon request making people to wait in a line. This was kind of unpleasant, especially where there is nobody to help you with your breakfast. Luckily, they had change it as other hotels, offering gloves. The restaurant menu for the lunch is a bit limited, but also delicious.
