Séjour décevant aucune attention pour nos 30 ans de mariage sauf la chambre handicapée avec du bruit nous avons demandé

Angenehmer Aufenthalt an einem weitläufigen Strand

Der Strand und Strandaktivitäten - surfen, schnorcheln, paddeln kann man für lau buchen, man wird sogar mit einem Motorboot zum Riff gefahren, um unter Wasser mehr zu sehen - umsonst. Nur den Schnupperkurs zum Tauchen muss man bezahlen, ca. 70€ - erst Einweisung im Pool morgens um 9, dann geht es raus zum Riff bis in 12 Meter Tiefe. Um 13 Uhr ist man wieder am Strand. Das Hotel wurde zwar Anfang der 90er Jahre gebaut, wurde aber offensichtlich mehrfach renoviert, unser Zimmer war in einem Top-Zustand. Da wir ein Auto hatten, haben wir nur mit Frühstück gebucht - zum Glück! Dinieren im Hotel sah schon langweilig aus, vom Preis ganz zu schweigen. Dann lieber 5 Minuten nach Flic en Flac gefahren, wo man eine Auswahl an 7 nebeneinander liegenden Restaurants hatte, Essen mit Vorspeise und Getränken zu zweit um die 50 Euro. Die Bevölkerung ist Tieren gegenüber sehr kulant, am Strand oder gar in den Bars werden freilaufende Hunde geduldet und nicht weggescheuscht. Im Gegenteil, man scheint sie sogar mit Essensresten zu füttern, auch die Restaurants.

Ständig fehlten uns nach dem Zimmerservice irgendwelche Handtücher, die man dann wieder über die Rezeption anfordern musste, war schon nervig. Ansonsten war alles andere an Service sehr angenehm.

Soggiorno da seconda luna di miele

Struttura molto curata, dai giardini a spiaggia ed interni. Di qualità anche la cena a buffet, ogni sera a tema diverso. Abbiamo utilizzato anche la spa inclusa nel pacchetto e perfetta per i giorni di poco sole. Accoglienza impeccabile fin dall'arrivo, anche da parte del personale, soprattutto la signora della colazione che ci è dispiaciuto non riuscire a salutare. Prezzo elevato, ma i servizi e la pulizia si riconoscono (come una seconda pulizia della stanza nel tardo pomeriggio). Apprezzata anche la torta di compleanno, anche a distanza di pochi giorni.

Se proprio devi dire qualcosa, allora le cialde caffè gratuite in camera limitate

Hôtel pas du tout du niveau d’un 5 étoiles (plutôt 4 étoiles, voire moins par rapport au prix)

Plein de soucis dans la chambre : table de nuit avec liseuses qui ne marchaient pas et ont du être changées Serviette de douche trouée et avec des taches à 2 reprises Déconnexion très fréquentes de la tv satellite signalant pas de signal donc parfois impossible de suivre un film en continu Nous avons du « batailler » pour avoir les menus de petits déjeuner en chambre à accrocher sur la porte et le dernier jour nous n’avons pas pu les avoir malgré 5 ou 5 demandes répétées House keeping lamentable : il manquait toujours quelque chose, les quelques petits déjeuner pris en chambre n’étaient jamais identiques alors que nous commandions la meme chose, nous n’avions souvent qu’un couteau pour 2 et pas de fourchette L’hôtel n’a fait aucun geste commercial pour rattraper tout cela

pratique pour notre déplacement professionnel mais à éviter pour des vacances

beau site avec une belle plage, la cuisine est très bonne (mention particulière aux restaurants japonais et Mauricien)

la chambre qui commence à vieillir en terme d'équipement, literie moyenne, climatisation bruyante, manque une vraie piscine pour nager

Sumptuous Sofitel

Location, sea, sand, buffet breakfast, room, gym, some bar staff

Ming Court restaurant lacked any ambience, some staff were unfriendly, buffet dinner was good but very expensive at £44 each just for the food.

Месторасположение хорошее. Завтрак вкусный.

Отвратительный персонал, номера ужасно старые и много что не работает. Просишь придти в номер и отремонтировать - ответ «да», но в итоге никто никуда не приходит. Кондиционер еле работает. Персонал даже не интересуется как вы тут отдыхаете и есть ли жалобы на что-либо. В день рожденье приходится несколько раз напоминать, чтобы поздравили уже наконец…. В общем обслуживание ужаснейшее!!! Зато как выезжать, звонят четко в 12 и бегут за чемоданами …больше сюда не вернусь 🤬

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Sa formule buffet du petit déjeuner avec du choix entre le salé et le sucré… L’infrastructure de l’hôtel avec son jardin, son front de mer et bien sûr la gentillesse de son personnel.

The hotel is beautiful. The bed is really really confortable, we love it. All the rooms have see view, and we had direct access to the swimming pool and beach. Staff is really helpful and cordial. There are many restaurants for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was good, I would suggest to incorporate more healthy options.

They required men to wear trousers for dinner. This is not really confortable as this is a beach hotel for beach vacation. We did not pack trousers, my husband had to wear a jean that was for the flight only.

Outdated & bureaucratic style 4 star hotel

The outdoor area and view by the beach was nice.

You need trousers to dine in any restaurant or just simply having a drink by the outdoor bar which is ridiculous considering that this is a beach vacation. This was not mentioned on the booking page otherwise we would have opted out. We as a family arrived at night after a long flight just to find out that we weren’t allowed to enter the restaurant. No water bottles are provided and you are expected to fill from a filling point in the hallway which is stupid considering that you don’t have a bottle to fill at the first place. All under the umbrella of “environment” which is becoming annoying now. Hotel is old and outdated in every way (inaugurated in 1991) you can see that from the finishing, old furniture, rustic wood. The breakfast buffet is diverse but identical every single morning and staff has little interest in serving you. The staff gave little to no consideration to our comments and didn’t even bother to give us a chance to explain what we weren’t happy about. This hotel has a bureaucratic feel to it as everyone is monitoring the dos and donts. Not sure if this is how Sofitel brand is but definitely this will be last for us. Overall, this is a 4 star and not 5 star.

Hotel was alright but overpriced for what it is

The breakfast was great. Great selection of things to choose from. Same goes for the dinner buffet which is really amazing.

One of the reasons I picked this hotel was the kids club, however upon arrival we were told that the kids club was closed for renovation and they had instead moved it to another location. The other location was just one of the hotel rooms so there was hardly anything for a kid to do there so that was very disappointing!

Full bar breakfast, spoilt for choice, champagne for breakfast aswell. Dining staff very friendly aswell.

The issue of having to wear trousers for dinner (apparently its an Accor Stand) but in the end made peace with my demons.

Sofitel is a French style Luxury Hotel in an Asian-style architecture. Overall, the landscape, beach, swimming pool area and the room were beautiful not very luxury but comfortable and met our expectation. We booked the hotel in a last minute as non-refundable so had a chance for reasonable offer for 6 night's stay including breakfast. Breakfast buffet was successful and tasty with fresh fruits, juices, pancakes,etc.

Despite the cleanliness of beach area, sea was not clean and attractive for swimming. We thought, it might be the result of season or weather, however, when we walked around in the Sugar and La Pirogue Hotel's beaches next to the Sofitel, the sea was crystal clear and wonderful for swimming and snorkelling. There was a river flowing into the sea which might be the reason of why sea is like a mud in Sofitel and Hilton. Other side of river was clean - I guess there is a bay which prevents from river water. As we only spent 1 full day in the hotel to benefit from its beach and pool, it was not a big problem for us but if you'd like to visit Mauritius just relax at hotel and swim in hotel beach, I strongly recommend you staying at another hotel. (For Flic en Flac, La Pirogue could be a best option) Buffet price for dinner was also expensive and not included the drinks. Last point could be informative who are sensitive for cleanse themselves. There was no bidet nozzle for it on the toilets.

I had a very relaxing week at Sofitel Imperial Mauritius

The resort has an excellent location on Flic en Flac Beach, also close to Tamarin Bay. Being on the west coast, we had the opportunity to admire amazing sunsets every evening. The resort has a big garden with lush vegetation, where you can see also many colorful birds and other small tropical animals. We had a superior room with ocean view, Le Morne view and also adults only pool, which was very convenient for us. The food was great and the staff also, everyone was very polite and supportive in any situation. Also I had a very nice experience at the spa. The lady who made me a relaxing massage recommended me to use a hydration gel for the face. I really appreciate her suggestion, now I use the product every day.
