The location close to family is Baka was good, although it is not near the centre so I don't think will appeal to most other tourists. The hotel is situated in a charming old building and the lady who served the breakfast was lovely.
Although we booked a budget room, I expected more for the price. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the room not very clean. The bathroom was mouldy and the toilet had stains in it. You could hear every noise from the surrounding rooms, and we had to request to have our bins emptied one day which should happen automatically. All in all we were not impressed with this hotel, and unless you have a specific reason to stay in Baka, I would book a different nicer hotel nearer the centre.

Comfortable, great staff, fabulous location

Conveniently close to my son’s place. Friendly, responsive staff. Nice breakfast selection. Clean common areas. Not expensive.
Room flooring so bad that I tripped on it. Toilet so loosely attached to floor that it eventually leaked on floor. This was improved by staff so it stopped leaking, but it still shifted on the floor and will probably leak again. Little space or storage and only one chair. No top sheet under the duvet. No clock or phone in room, although in cellphone era these aren’t necessary, they are usual. Despite the signs requesting quiet, there were several occasions where guests made a racket, and once, about 5 AM, a 5-minute roar as if a waterline had broken, stopped by itself.

The staff were very helpful. The bathroom was very comfortable.
The room is a little small, but that was expected.

The Hotel is situated nearby a bus stop at the Hebron Road, 15 min to the Old City. Excellent breakfast with very friendly service!
Rooms are a little bit small.

Breakfast was good, and the lady in charge of the breakfast was incredible and helpful. Our room was comfortable, and the house cleaners were amazing.
Shower accessories should also include body lotion.

This is an older hotel, and very well kept. The room and bathroom were clean, everything in working order. The breakfast was really nice and plentiful. They also set up a plata for us to be able to reheat Shabbat food. Everything was perfect. The neighborhood is great for those who want a quiet stay in Jerusalem.

The guy from reecption came over to our car and carried our cases over to reception. Next morning a colleague did the same.. They were most helpful throughout. Likewise the lady in the breakfast room clouldnt have been more helpful.

Room was on the 1st floor and private and quiet. Had a balcony. Breakfast is simply the best with so many salads, cheese variety, eggs, cereal, breads, etc. It is the best I have ever had. Great person in charge. Hotel was in walking distance of family location with several restaurants, shops and groceries. Just a great location for us. Was on a bus line and bank across the street.
Everything was perfect.

Good breakfast and the staff helping out at breakfast made us some very good coffee. The location is good (walking distance to the old train station and other stores/restaurants and some limited sight-seeing).
Bathroom had pooled water on the floor when we first entered. A leak in the sink was the culprit (and it looked like it had been that way for quite a while as the cabinet was stained), yet the staff was 'unaware' and other than giving us some towels to sop up the water did nothing to fix it during our 3-day stay. Rooms are small and the walls are thin - we constantly heard our neighbors moving about.

location
I’ve stayed at this hotel before but it’s become very shabby and in dire need of a major re ferb which I believe is on the way this winter.

The room was quite small and not the most comfortable.

We really loved the location, and it's a very peaceful and beautiful place.
They added VAT when we arrived so it was more expensive than we thought.

staff were very helpful, convenient location with plenty of parking around, good value for money.

Location and the staff. There were great. Because of covid, there was no breakfast. But the people were very nice. The location is wonderful!
I liked everything there. I hope next time to be able to eat there.
