As I arrived lat e at night the outside entrance/reception could have been clearly marked I thought it was the bar/restaurant so we drove round into car park looking for another door before returning to the front again where the night porter was opening the door for me,Otherwise all good.

Easy, comfortable, welcoming.

Easy parking and check in. Lovely welcome. All staff from front of house to housekeeping were polite, attentive and full of smiles. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Would definitely return and recommend.

The staff were great and have good friendly service. The food was very good for both dinner and breakfast

The hotel is generally dated and in need of some redecorating, some areas in our room and the corridors were dirty and hadn’t been cleaned for some time.

Day away.

The bed was very comfortable. The power shower was beautiful (I do love a good hot shower before bed). Friendly and helpful staff. The lobby looked nice and welcoming. Downstairs facilities near reception were very nice and clean (heard the toilets had been refurbished recently, as I did ask the staff). Usual facilities were provided for. Fresh and clean linen and towels.

The sound proofing isn't great, I could hear the people in the next room in the shower and talking at some point, the noise from outside (it was a ground floor front of the hotel property), traffic noise was hard to ignore. The rooms do need updating and redecorating, a bit outdated and some parts of the room looked aged (painting of the room, carpets, some fixtures and fittings). The room was clean though. They need to brighten the lights in the room as it was a bit dim. Plenty free standing lamps though, so I guess that made up for it, as I had to switch on all 4 in the room. I do like a bright space.

Very friendly staff. Restaurant looks great and breakfast was excellent. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Location is good with ample parking.

We requested twin room but didn’t get it 1st night , Saturday night was very busy and noisy during the night. Bar was closed by 10 o’clock when we returned back on Sunday night.

The staff serving at the bar, evening meal and at breakfast were excellent.

Restaurant on site. Quiet room. Ability to open window. Good parking facility. Excellent serving staff at the bar and at breakfast.

Disappointed with small bedroom. Bathroom lighting was poor and it wasn’t very well ventilated, tired fittings and style.
