Very nice hotel at a perfect location

Great hotel. Perfect location, beautiful beach and nice pools. The food was very good, a lot of variety. The room was big (huge bath) and very clean, they change the towels and clean it twice a day. Very friendly staff.

There wasn't much to do in the evenings, the public areas were a bit "dead" and no music or atmosphere (besides the lady that plays the piano at dinner which was really nice). Also we didn't like the fact that there is no drinking water anywhere in the hotel and they charge you for water everywhere (including at dinner). And why no air conditioning in the gym...?!

Unser Aufenthalt war äußerst erfolgreich. Sowohl wir als auch unser kleiner Hund haben sich in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir wurden auf Schritt und Tritt mit Freundlichkeit und Zuvorkommenheit empfangen. Das gesamte Team vom Management bis zu den Zimmermädchen war sehr freundlich. Unsere Suite, die wir als Gegenleistung für den Wechsel von Elounda Bay Palace zu Elounda Beach and Villas erhielten, war sehr komfortabel und hatte einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Bucht. Die tägliche Reinigung und der Zimmerservice waren perfekt. Das Essen vom Frühstück bis zum Abendessen ließ nichts zu wünschen übrig. Die Auswahl war hervorragend und das Essen in den Themenrestaurants war ausgezeichnet. Das Personal war hilfreich bei der Auswahl ausgezeichneter Weine und anderer Getränke. Der Service in den Restaurants war professionell, taktvoll und sehr freundlich. Nach einem solch ausgezeichneten Aufenthalt werden wir sicherlich bald wieder hierher zurückkehren, in Gesellschaft unserer Freunde und natürlich mit unserem Hund "Sparki". der sich sehr wohl fühlte und vom gesamten Personal verwöhnt wurde. Ein besonderer Dank für die wunderbare Atmosphäre geht an Lina und "Freitag", die eine sehr herzliche Bindung zu den Gästen aufgebaut haben. Nochmals vielen Dank an das gesamte Personal. Die Matrazen im Bett waren für uns ein bisschen zu hart , ansonsten keine andere Bemerkungen.

We cannot wait to go back!

This resort exceeded all expectations. Enormous thought and planning has clearly been put into the design and facilities as it catered for all needs. The breakfast and dinner was over the top in terms of choice, quality and amount of food. The private beaches were superb and there was also a huge pool. More than enough beach lounges for everyone. It’s only a short walk into the really pretty town full of shops. We cannot recommend this highly enough.

Exceptional

Really friendly staff, from the reception to the beach staff, the restaurants, the snack bar, the cleaning staff. Perfect!!! Special thanks to the guest relations manager Yannis!!! The food in the main restaurant...amazing...breakfast and dinner buffet...just exceptional. Beach was 10+++, the sea...amazing. The pools were clean... perfection. We will be coming back!!!! Best vacation so far (family, 2 kids)

You can see that the complex Elounda bay dates from 1970...but really..it doesn't bother at all. Really nothing negative... Everything was beyond perfect

Very good

The resort is made of 2 hotels which are both great. Nice place, nice environment and many activities.

The rooms are big and clean but you can feel they are a bit old. Old electricity plugs, old equipments in the bathroom. The option to get breakfast and diners included is OK but be careful with the extras. Prices are too high. Charging 5 euros for a bottle of still water is way too much...

Great experience!

Excellent hotel with great staff and marvelous location! They even upgraded us to a larger room so they could offer us the best experience since we traveled with our dog! Loved everything about it! Excellent food and wide selection of restaurants! The buffet was top.

Need updates

Marvelous beaches, perfect food. Free sport activities. Staff is very friendly (dining room staff is lovely). Chose direct sea view. Side sea view is too "side".

- soft-boiled eggs need to be cooked a little longer;) - outdoor swimming pool could be opened earlier. Some people would like to swim before breakfast, not after. During the day people prefer swimming in the sea. Pool is necessary for keeping the body fit, before eating. - drinks in the beach bar could be better for the price

Absolutely fantastic place to rest , relax and put on a few kilos!!!

My daughter and I spent a week at the hotel and absolutely loved it! I can’t say enough about the staff!! Above and beyond from the first to the last person. This hotel doesn’t have a central restaurant, rather a number of small restaurants on the premises. we tried the 3 that were open ( the hotel had just opened) and we were blown away!! The food was so good in every one, from Sushi to Traditional Greek.. The beach is soft golden sand, the sea transparent Turquoise ( a bit nippy in April) and the beds super comfortable! We will definitely be returning, as were half of the other guests there. This is a hidden gem and great value for money!

Nothing really. If I had to say one thing I agree with others that sound can travel through the walls at times in the main buildings .

Exceptional

We’ve booked the Elounda Bay and were offered a suite at the Elounda Beach, which apparently it’s more luxurious (our first time). Very good hotel, ok facilities given the out of season period, but the highlight of it all is definitely the staff, who without being cheesy, are very polite, effective, hands on and there to help! Even in eventful situations! We have really enjoyed our stay!

A fabulous place to stay!

This is a top notch facility. The staff goes way above and beyond. They switched our room with no hesitation when my father needed a more accessible shower. They graciously arranged all our requests. The location is lovely. The breakfast is outstanding and dinner very good. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

excellent location, tastefully decorated public areas and rooms, very nice and helpful staff, rich breakfast and dinner

1. at dinner the hotel charged 7 € (!) for a 0.7 l bottle of sparkling water! Wine not consummated could not be stored for the next evening. 2. No entertainment at evenings and no mingling among the guests may be due to the fact that prices for drinks are exorbitantly high

Good breakfast with water available but NO fresh juices, shops nearby

Mosquitoes horrendous! Oversalted food and the evening buffet very boring and 'local' food poor which is a great pity given the excellence of the Greek cuisine. No water available at evening meal unless purchase very expensively sold bottled water, hence reason for oversalted food?

A truly amazing place to relax and create memories!

The location was stunning, the staff were exquisitely polite and helpful and the food was just delicious in every occasion. Special mention goes to Marianna and Popi at the spa as well as Iriana at the reception who made our experience even more delightful!

The buildings are visibly outdated and could use some restructuring and the sauna was out of order.

it is the perfect hotel for quiet family vacations. great location, polite and welcoming staff.

great location, view, 2 calm sandy beaches. small distances to walk from room to anywhere

our room (deluxe Bungalow with sea view) was clean and wonderfully decorated but expected it to be a little larger. pool and beach service a little slow but all very polite also the kids club could be a little updated and the supervisor seemed as if kids where not her expertise.

Wonderful hotel, has everything you need for a family break away. My teenage sons loved it too!

I have stayed here before and will come back again and again. Love this hotel, it’s 5 star at its best! Rooms are clean, plenty of towels, beds are super comfortable. highly recommend. Will be back :)

Front desk immaculate. Amenities. Room cleaning. Gym. Wi Fi practicaly all over the place.

Buffet restaurant staff frequently confused. Dinner table positions changes each 2-3 days and when you come to dinner your table is occupied by someone else and new tables are not prepared so you are forced to wait. Bar and other restaurants are hugely overpriced. Sun umbrelas should be of wider diameter and allowing guests to rise/fold them instead to wait for beach staff. Wi Fi should be boosted in rooms.

The room was great. Beach access was good

Lack of any privacy on our balcony which was often encroached by others. Choice of Gluten free vegetarian hot meals Labelling on food choices was not always accurate, which could be potentially dangerous.

Amazing,definitely coming back soon!

We were on half board, and breakfast along with dinner was amazing. Everyone from the adults all the way to our children enjoyed the food. The service overall is on par with a top 5 star hotel, and we never felt like we were missing anything or didn't have help from the staff. The staff always went out of their way to help us!

A very warm welcome at a luxury beachfront hotel in Elounda in Crete.

We had a super room with private terrace with sun loungers overlooking one of the hotel private beaches. The staff were extremely attentive and polite. We also enjoyed being able to use the facilities of the sister hotel Elounda Beach Hotel with a variety of restaurants and a fantastic spa.

We struggled with air conditioning in our room. The other restaurants were not open in The Elounda Bay Palace and it is was only possible to have a buffet meal in the evening. Perhaps later in the season the other restaurants will be open.

Nice beach, food was ok, the staff is also good and kind

Really cold pool, couldn't put my child in there. Very old hotel, the rooms had a tiny tv which nothing worked besides volume and channels. No facilities in thw room, everything is on request. Not all restaurants were active so poor choice of places to eat, also not enough diversity of foods
