Stunning location and beautifully landscaped hotel like a Cretan Village. Never felt busy as there are plenty of places to relax and eat.
Possibly wouldn’t suit older people who might find the steps/slopes too much but for us there was nothing we didn’t like about it.

loved the views, private pool, all inclusive option, and the smaller private restaurants
everything isn’t included in “all inclusive” which makes it hard to understand what you can/can’t have. the most popular food and drinks aren’t included, so you end up spending money on top of a lot of money spent to stay there. very few excursions/activities available. wish they had offered transportation to see more of what the island had to offer.

Amazing hotel with superb views, great layout and exceptional hospitality [pre- season review]
We have picked this hotel for a pre- season getaway to have a relaxed time at the seaside. I pretty much expected no crowds around and being able to relax in a beautiful environment. The hotel has everything to fulfil that.
* It was well pre- season, the hotel only opened a couple of days before we arrived, so some outlets ( beach bar, garden restaurant, etc..) were still not open, but I kind of anticipated that. The main season on Crete is clearly just starting after mid- April. Outdoor and indoor pools were all up, main restaurant was serving breakfast and dinner that time. There were barely any guests around, so it was really a great escape - exactly what we wanted.
** Check- in / check out was very smooth, probably the best experience ever - everyone at the front desk was super helpful and kind, Eleni, Maria and Alexandra are all very professional and looked after us well all the time throughout our stay.
We have been upgraded to a Junior suite with sea view ( thank you!) - and shown to our room, and explained everything.
*** The suite was well equipped, A/C was working well, beds were comfortable, bath/ shower was nice, good pressure, great temperatures. We've had both a smaller and a bigger balcony - one with table and chairs, the other one with loungers.
**** Housekeeping did a great job, the room was attended every day, properly cleaned and items replenished.
***** Since some outlets were not open, we had to get our drinks from the main restaurant / bar, but this was always sorted without delay with the best customer service ever. Christos and his team has shown excellent hospitality all the time. Breakfast had a good offer and was always tasty. We have dinner at the hotel only once - which was great - the rest of the days we have been trying various local restaurants. (good variety in the village)
Not much to mention really. Maybe - if at least one of the outdoor pools would be heated - it would contribute a lot to guest experience of people who are staying out of main season (and hot weather). I still did swim in both the pool and the sea though. :-)

The staffs' hospitality was excellent! Very friendly and helpful, which deserves a compliment.
The resort itself is beautiful, great location and lovely views.
Although we had a wonderfull vacation together, there are quite a few points of improvement. In may we stayed at the TUI Blue accomodation in Tsilivi/Zakynthos, a comparable accomodation so we thought we could expect the same high level of hygiene/food/etc. Unfortunately, TUI Blue Elounda Village didn't measure up to it's 5-stars compared to the 5-star accomodation in Tsilivi.
There isn't enough space to tell you all that wasn't pleasant, but to keep it short;
- At arrival our room wasn't ready, so we had to wait up to 3,5 hours before we could go to our room.
- After going back for 4 times because the badges didn't work, we finally entered the room.
- Once inside, it appeared we didn't get te room we booked (first time ever this happened through Booking.com, but according to the reception that is normal (?)). We booked a room with good size pool and sea-view, but got a room with shared foot-bath while looking at roofs.
- The room wasn't clean AT ALL. The bathroom-area had mold everywhere and lots of deferred maintenance; the floor in- and outside was not clean; weeds on the terrace; stains on the bedding, as well as hair in and on it; hair on the toilet-seat; weird stains on the cabinets. We reported it and cleaners would come; in the evening no cleaner was to be seen and had to report yet again. Once cleaners had been there, the same stains etc. remained (so not cleaned at all!).
- We couldn't get the right room till the day after, so that makes almost 2 lost days of vacation for a total of about 1000 euro's of waisted money (only for the price of the room).
- The food (we booked all-in) was 'ok', but definitely not what's to be expected from a 5-star accomodation. On a regular base we saw filthy plates and got filthy drinking glasses served.
- We saw cleaners clean every room with the same cleaning cloths; absolutely not done, especially for bathroom-areas!

Very nice hotel with professional service. You will enjoy a la cart restaurants with variety of excellent dishes. You will be happy with nice beach and access to sea.
Main restaurant was a bit surprising. I was expecting much higher food quality from 5 star hotel main restaurant. Location, design and service was good but the food should be improved.

Excellent food. Beautiful location. The staff were very friendly.
The swimming pools were very cold. Our room was beautiful but we were always in the shade. There was not much to do in the area.

The beach
The buffet was not at all local, for instance mushroom omelet. Regarding our room, our bath was filthy I asked twice for it to be cleaned but while they removed the bigger stain the bath still had dirt marks all over. On the mirror, when foggy, I read “love” written by a previous visitor. We arrived at 6:30pm and went for a walk around the property. It felt very empty and the main pool had some green mold.

The whole package was wonderful and the staff were excellent and very friendly, that was the best part of the stay!
The pillows could have been better quality...everything else was perfect!

Super friendly and competent staff everywhere, food is excellent and adequately varied for a buffet, the all-in formula, the Tui app where you can find menus, register for activities etc. It's clean, well maintained, well managed.
The stairs to go to the pool & beach are a bit dangerous, not enough staff in the main restaurant so drinks arrive when you are almost finished with your food! Spa is expensive.

Absolutely brilliant hotel.

Our room looked nice and was just like we expected it, although it is too expensive for the room and pool size.
The Hotel is by far too expensive for what you get. The „All Inclusive“ is no all inclusive as you have to pay for most drinks that taste ok.
Moreover, we contacted the hotel staff before our stay because we are vegans. They told us that this would be no problem as they have a lot of vegan options. In reality we think they don’t even really know what vegan means (sign vegan but a milk sign with some foods, sign veggie with fruits…) and we mostly ate salad and variations of potatoes, sometimes also vegetables, but they frequently fried them in butter.
