Room was well designed into two rooms. All very comfortable. I spent a whole day in the room one day working and found it all very pleasant. The view was of the Remarkables which is spectacular. The breakfast was help yourself with a very wide range of choices but after a week of exactly the same menu some people might find it monotonous. Perhaps poached eggs instead of scrambled as a choice.
Not being very able with technology found the TV and the air-conditioning challenging if you wanted to change it. Booking.com made the extension to my booking at Frankton Rd but I was staying at Holiday Inn Remarkables Park so all comments applied to Holiday Inn Remarkables Park Frankton Queenstown not the hotel listed

Great welcome & farewell by same receptionist
Air con filters missed their last clear so was inefficient. I cleaned them.

It was close to Queenstown yet far enough away you werent in the hustle and bustle. The staff were very friendly and was only too happy to help. The rooms were clean, the views were amazing and my father loved the sense of calm
Maybe more visible numbers so other guests dont try to knock your door down at 10.45pm

easy to get to where I needed to go.
the restaurant closed before I got there as I had an evening flight.
the heat pump made an horrendous noise but I needed it on as it was a very chilly evening.
the shower was blocked up so the water didn’t drain properly.

The Bircher muesli and berry coulis at breakfast.
The pizza dough was amazing.
The pizza topping - fungi misti - the mushrooms were so sparse that several slices of pizza had only two or three very small slices of mushroom. The timing of meal service - the excuse that pizza takes longer to cook …. Start cooking the pizza before the other dining partner selected dish. Sitting there waiting for your meal whilst your partner receives and finishes their choice of meal is the worst. I noticed that I was not the only diner this happened to!
My husband commented that the scrambled eggs were like rubber.

Breakfast was amazing with lots of options to choose
Carpets can be changed in the rooms

Clean/ smooth check in/modern well furbished retrofit- I was in block 200 upstairs
Choice of pillows was good
No opening window in bathroom with no blind- the door between the bedroom and bathroom is frosted glass so any bright light floods into the bedroom even with an eye mask
Bed wasn’t that comfortable for me - felt to be limited padding

Good bed
Location, walls paper thin

The staff was very friendly
The room had cold draft coming in under the door

Bed was comfortable and room was warm. Parking was close to room, Overall slightly better than sleeping in the back of the car.
We booked a lakefront view room, Unfortunately there was only a view of a tree and compost bins. Also a 20 dollar parking charge per day that was not communicated until arrival. Breakfast was below average and observed other guests tasting drinks and putting them back in the shared containers. Definitely not worth 300 hundred a night including parking.

Only location
Room was not clean. Informed shower leakage issue but they didn't fix it. Coffee cup not cleaned and highlighted receptionist. No outside car parking and charged $20 per night

location close to the airport
limited carpark space

Beautiful views. Enough room in the hotel suite. Dining area was great. Good use of facilities
No shuttle available to town. We were under the impression that shuttle bus was available (there was one parked out front of reception) but it was not in use. Required a hire car to get around

The staff were so lovely and the location. Room was nice enough, the shower was great.
The breakfast was a little average. The bacon and sausages were cold and overcooked. There should be a few more gluten free options.

Room had a great view and the staff allowed me to check-out a bit later as I was waiting on transport to pick me up. They were all very friendly and helpful.
A courtesy shuttle available for airport pick ups would have been helpful. Couldn't find plug to put on electric blanket but it wasn't needed that much anyway.

Aircon not working. We were given portable heater second night, which was excellent

Staff were really friendly and the room was really neat and tidy. It was also a great location with an amazing view!
It would have been great to have allocated parking. At times, I had to park off site if I got back to my room any later than 6:30 or found it difficult to manoeuvre around cars that parked anywhere (parking felt a little chaotic in the evenings)

Very comfy beds. Lovely lakeview if your room is facing the lake. Friendly staff. Conveniently located between 5Mile Frankton shopping and town. Guest DIY laundry.
Carpark markings have faded on the 2nd level. It was hard to see. Room prices were marked up quite high for the hols, pretty common for Qtown. Our room had a frosted window into the bathroom. You could see the silouhette of the person showering. Junction can be quite busy to get into town.
