The staff did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. It was personalized care the whole time. The breakfasts were outstanding!!

Not much.
Receptionists would not accept that we had paid by visa, as their payment connection was down. Although we showed them your confirmation of payment it was not accepted by them. Instead they demanded 119 € before they would provide a room key. We see today a booking on our bank statement for the amount agreed at our time of booking on line.

Rip off merchant...... booked through booking.com €222.50 but upon checkin €290.. food bill for poor quality food €342. For 5 meals 1 course and 1 drink of cheap lager each..
The hotel has not been decorated from the 70s, no en suite shared toilets and bathroom. NO SECURE PARKING FOR BIKES ONLY A NOT LIT CAR PARK ON THE MAIN ROAD WHICH NO BEDROOMS FACE... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. BETTER PLACES AND CHEAPER 5KM AWAY.

Expensive menu items!

In the garden, without menu available, the owner tried to convince us we should take the lamb, didnt mention the price. Later we found out that the lamb was farmost the most expensive on the card. If you order mayonaise with the pommes frites you are charged 2,- ( two!) euro extta. For dinner and for stay, if you pay not cash but by card you are charged 5,- (five!!!!) euro extra.

Being away from the maddening crowds.
