We liked our stay in this hotel very spacious room with large bathroom.
Excellent and varied choices for breakfast.
Very pleasant reception and breakfast staff.
Lighting not great in bathroom for putting on make-up.
We arrived after 10.00 pm and there were young children racing around the reception area.
The service in the bar was very slow.
A long roundabout walk to locate the lifts.

Very friendly staff, excellent facilities and a beautiful location. Loved the town and found the rooms to be very spacious and comfortable.
Unfortunately the people staying in the room next to me were playing loud music and yelling up until about 2am which affected my stay. Other than that, it was a great experience.

We stayed here for a family wedding, stayed 3 nights in total. Hotel was lovely, food in Bar62 was great.
The swimming pool was great, also able to use steam room and sauna. Gym had a good amount of equipment. Hotel had beautiful grounds and garden.
The hotel is currently under construction, so depending on what floor your room is you may be woken by builders.
Due to the renovations, some rooms (Ground floor and floor 1) have been done up and are gorgeous. However floor 2 hasn’t, rooms are standard but have no aircon and are very very warm. Windows only open a cm.

The staff and cleanliness was very good
Breakfast could’ve been a lot better for a hotel it was just self-service and as per usual Nothing exciting about the breakfast the room was very warm I couldn’t find the air condition

We spent 2 nights in the hotel. It was very relaxing. The girl on the reception desk was extremely friendly.
We had an evening meal in the bar. While it was very tasty, there was too much food for us. We are in our 70s, and I would suggest that there could be a smaller meal available for people our age.

The staff were fantastic. Really friendly, happy and helpful. We stayed over the Easter weekend and found Easter eggs outside our door on the Sunday morning - what a lovely surprise! There is a little play area in the grounds of the hotel which is great for young kids and also a community playground just up the road next to the library. The gardens are beautifully maintained and I'm sure they would be fantastic to spend some time in on a warm summer's day. Attention to detail was excellent and we loved the little extras for kids - the little gift bag in the room and the rubber ducks and special kids set of soaps in the bathroom. The pool area is really lovely too. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again!
No complaints whatsoever. They were even doing some renovation work during our stay and it didn't disturb our visit at all. Everything was kept really clean despite the ongoing work. Our room was one of the rooms that hadn't yet been renovated so it will be nice to go back again to stay once the work has been completed. The news rooms look beautiful - we had a peek as we were passing!

All staff were extremely kind and patient with my neurodiverse daughter, making it a really positive experience for her and the family

Breakfast was poorly cooked & utensils need updating

Very good
Carpet on bedroom floor had a few bad stains in an obvious place and weren't too pleasing

The gardens and Location were excellent, and well maintained. Majority of staff were pleasant and attentive.
- Music from a wedding blaring until 2.30 am, on the first floor so could hear every beat.
- the rooms are a little outdated, I know they are renovating so understand that
- On check out no such thing as asking, was the stay okay.
- Food was passable, but no more than that, priced high for what it was.

Buffet breakfast was well stocked and they even had bran flakes! Coffee was ok but then getting good coffee anywhere in Ireland seems a challenge. Room was quiet, good size and clean. Good bar with music.
Only bar food during the week and if you are vegan nothing and veggie one option.
Room had a well used smell so needed the windows open. Armchair arms needed a clean.
