The gentleman and his son were very kind and helpful, I couldn't get the air-conditioning in the room working and they tried to help me for ages.
There wasn't any tea or coffee or anything available in the lounge area. That would have been nice. They could have make that a more communal area that their guests could sit and relax in.

The hotel was ideally situated in the town.
The owner was pleasant and had a smile. Although we cannot speak Portuguese and the owner had limited English we got by.

Quiet hotel with lovely views over the village. Easy walk to get to the shops and restaurants. Forest close by providing some great hikes.
No breakfast available when we were there and not much soundproofing in the hotel.

Very accommodating. Parking €5.
No breakfast, but there are places within walking distance.

Vintage and comfortable super clean.
Since it is located next to a natural spring, they could have water for guests available in the room. Also a kettle, tea and coffee.

I felt like home. The bedroom was really comfortable, so spacious and clean, and also very quiet. Same with the bathroom, where everything was immaculate and really functional. The location is very central.

very kind and caring host, good breakfast
weak and intermittent wi fi signal

Clean and spacious room/bathroom, several wall sockets available for charging our devices, extra pillow, tv with good reception, location in the center of Luso, friendly/helpful staff and breakfast with some nice touches like boiled eggs and Portuguese milk buns. Overall we had a great time at Hotel Central and will be back whenever we return to Luso.
The air conditioning can get a bit noisy at times if you need to use it and the light bulb in the bathroom mirror kept flickering like it was about to go out.

Everything is extremely clean and the room we stayed was really big! Way bigger than most 4* hotels. The location is great and the hotel was pretty quiet.
The breakfast does not have many options but considering the price and that this is a 2* hotel is more than fine!

Great location, near the entrance of the Bucaco forest. Peaceful, calm and friendy. Great value for money!

A lovely hotel in beautiful town. Our room was large with parquet floors, the bathroom was good with endless hot water, the bed was huge, seemed new and was very comfortable indeed - we both slept well. Our balcony gave us a great view over the town and everything was scrupulously clean.
The breakfast was standard with cheese and ham and bread and cereal - the jam was special..
All in all an excellent experience for a very reasonable price..
We hope to return and explore the forest some more..
Obrigado!
The wifi signal in our room was poor but the mobile signal is good so it didn't matter...

The hotel is very clean, breakfast more than sufficient, staff very attentive, and the location was close to what we needed.
The beds were rocks. It was hard to sleep and be comfortable. The chairs were just as uncomfortable, but lovely. It was not a room to relax in.
4.5
Room was excellent. Very spacious. Very clean. Pleasant. Breakfast was adequate and very well cared for. Fresh bread, fruit, yogurt, ham and cheese. A few other things available. Owners were very pleasant and attentive.
Honestly the only complaint was the pillow that was very high and VERY firm.
