Great hotel great location great seaside town - get bedroom extractor fan noise sorted room 107

Nice location - near town centre - good walks all around

The extractor fans in the room bathroom does not turn off after a few minutes after switching off the bathroom lights - the constant whirr is annoying and keeps guests awake - can this be changed? - else - I would doubt that we return

It was very disappointing that the front desk staff could do nothing to recompense our stay. We had a terrible sleep due

We had a very bad sleep due to being woken at 3:30 in the morning with the noise of a moving truck getting loaded with luggage for an hour. Luggage for an entire cricket team!!! The disturbing sound of luggage being rolled to the truck which was parked at a side entrance instead of the front entrance.

Relaxing visit to a beautiful town.

Friendliness of the staff, quiet, ease of use, vicinity to the town centre.

The ease to go up to the room on the third floor could be better with a single lift.

Really nice hotel - turn the heating down!

The room was beautiful and very clean, the location was great, the breakfast was great! I could only find one fault, detailed below...

The room was so hot when I checked in, I turned off the radiator immediately and opened the window. I then went out of the evening and when I came back, around six hours later, it was still really hot. It was March and the weather wasn't hot at all! I subsequently sat in reception in the morning, waiting for colleagues, and overheard other guests complaining how hot the rooms were

Good location, but some of the bedrooms need updating and maintenance

Good location close to Dublin airport . The building looking impressive from the outside and the reception and ground floor has a grand hotel feel to it . The staff when checking in were nice . Breakfast was buffet style and the food was nice , but the bacon was cold . Breakfast room staff were all political and helpful.

We stayed in a small "cosy" room the decor needed updating, but was sufficient . Unfortunately there was a large gap at one side of the door to the room . This was due to the floor being uneven. The bathroom door had some damage to the bottom corner of it and the bath/ shower had some brown mould at the sealant at the taps . The heat in the room during the night was extreme with no thermostat to turn it down , but luckily even the window did open wide . On checking out the staff just asked me my name and told me I could go . No, pleasantries "how was your stay ?"

The lesuire facilities were very good and in an excellent location. The breakfast was lovely aswel. It is a really nice place to stay.

The room had no Aircon and was exceptionally warm. It was very uncomfortable to sleep.

Central and beautiful location but probably not very suitable for families.

Location, mostly friendly staff, beautiful shared spaces (reception, gardens...), great and varied breakfast

Several issues emerged with the reservation. We asked for a family room and booked 2 rooms for this. It took quite some time to find the reservation and then ensure that the rooms are close by. Eventually we realised, after paying, that one room would have been sufficient... one peculiar fact: the sink was very small.... unusual for such hotels.

Easy walking distance to village and leisure paths. Breakfast was hearty and elegant.

Navigating the maze of hotel hallways, especially to the executive wing which requires taking 2 lifts separated by a creaky hallway with worn-out carpets and dystopian views of the hotel roof and ducting.

Perfect location, lovely staff, great food

Lovely hotel, very old world. We had to talk 2 separate elevators to get to our room but we didn't mind. The older rooms could do with some TLC and the penthouse patio needs a lot of TLC. The staff were excellent and the food was delicious!

They need to put some money into the older bedrooms.

Had a lovely break here to kick off our honeymoon. Towels folded into swans on the bed were a cute surprise. we had an a

beautiful views of the harbour in Malahide from our room - although the room was cosy in terms of size this really added to the wow factor of it.

Nice one night stay. Cute seaside hotel close to so much in town and the beach!

Location was great and the staff was very friendly. Walking distance to the cut little town and beach. The resort had nice amenities.

The single room did not have air conditioning, however they did bring up a fan. The WiFi was not great either.

Great location for travelling into the city centre on the train. Lovely location by the sea for walks. Room was a good size and quiet.

Not a great choice of breakfast for a coeliac. Pre-packed bread and muffins. Coffee from a machine you made yourself.
