Very attentive staff in the dining room. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would love to return.

Wonderful breakfast. Location is ideally close to train station.

Pillows were of hard materials, need to be changed with foam.

Make sure you get room with view- it’s beautiful!

We upgraded our room to the suite with the best view- it was gorgeous! Plus, the wait staff are exceptional!

There were a few things in room that needed replacement- broken. I would not rate this hotel a 4 star but 3 star.

It is a once a life time experience.

-Absolutely the best part of our trip in Switzerland. Had so many great memories there. -The view from our room’s balcony was magnificent (make sure you book a room facing the mountains). -The rate was not cheap (and we visited in the peak season) but was well worth it. -Staff offered early check-in for us. We arrived on a rainy day, carrying 3 luggages so this was very helpful. -Room was spacious and clean. The interiors were modern compared to most other hotels in the area. -Dinner at the hotel was also great. We were lucky to enjoy a live music show at the restaurant.

-Would be good if more hot food is offered at breakfast. -Staff at the breakfast should be more proactive. On our first day, we didn’t know we could order eggs aside until we left.

A fantastic place to stay and I hope to be able to make the journey from Australia again to revisit.

The service of all the staff was professional yet friendly. The food and its value for money were both of a higher standard than we were expecting.

The only small comment was given the weather was very warm the whirlpool was too hot to stay in and I would have loved to soak in it longer.

Absolutely amazing

Where do I start? Room was nice and big with amazing view of the waterfalls, couldn’t fault it at all! Extremely clean and the best, most welcoming staff. We will be back next year!

Classic Swiss Hotel right near the Station

Wengen is a car free town, so we booked a hotel close to the Railway station. We were not disappointed. The Maya Caprice is one of the closest hotels to the station, yet from our room we could barely hear the trains. Our room had a spectacular view of the Lauterbrunnen Valley, it was clean tidy and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very freindly and helpful, in particular Sonya who served our breakfast each morning. The hotel has a deal with Central Sport, so if you hire your skis with them you can leave your skis and boots at their store which is right next to the main ski lift. Walking through town in normal shoes is so much better than in ski boots.

The shower in our room was very narrow, and there was a poorly placed basket for soaps etc, which reduced the width of the shower even more.

Amazing views, cosy, great food, lovely staff, and very central :)

The hotel is right beside the train station which is very handy. We are a family of four so we stayed in the Junior Suite and we had plenty of room and two gorgeous balconies, one at the front of the hotel and the other overlooking the valley and mountains, just beautiful. The restaurant was very cosy with great food for either dinner or breakfast, the coffee and scrambled eggs were really good :) The lounge was lovely and cosy with a fire and there was live music on one of the nights. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. I used the sauna and hot tub only once but these were very welcome after skiing! The hot tub offers amazing views and I was able to watch the sun dip behind the mountains as I sat there. I would definitely stay here again :)

Can’t wait to come back and stay longer to enjoy a great ski week

Beautiful property, clean modern updated rooms with incredible views of the valley. Sauna and Jacuzzi open till late. Proximity to Ski Lift and Train. You can literally ski down to the hotel. Very convenient location. Staff is super friendly, Sanya was super nice and made us feel welcome. Home atmosphere. Breakfast are super delicious..

Staying at Maya Caprice is a wonderful experience in itself.

We had stayed at Caprice in 2014 and did not think our return visit could match the exceptional experience we had the first time. To our delight it was every bit as good. The rooms had been refurbished and were in immaculate condition - spacious, comfortable and with great storage for our bags and belongings. The bathroom is modern, with good storage and bench space and has excellent shower facilities. The view from our bedroom and from the restaurant is a marvelous vista of mountains and alpine village. The restaurant has an exceptional chef, so breakfast was great and we regretted not taking the half board option. That option makes dinner very good value!

Hands down my favourite from my Europe trip ! Highly recommend this to anyone staying in Switzerland!!

The room was perfect, it was clean and tidy and the view was spectacular. The staff were hands down amazing! they heard we were leaving at 5 in the morning and were not able to attend for breakfast, so they packed us up a bag of snacks for us to take on our travels the night before. Their restaurant was on time and the food was heavenly, we ate there two nights and both times it was excellent.!

An excellent view outside of balcony, with hills and mountains, even a waterfall. Staffs are very nice, restaurant food are delicious! And just 1min walk from Wengen train station. Love it!

Great views and comfortable stay!

The views, staff and location are all amazing! It takes 3 minutes to get from the front door to the train station. Enjoyed breakfast and dinner with the view! I highly recommend this place!
