Loved the pool and bar area.
All the children at the pool running wild.
8.0
The excellent customer service, delicious buffet breakfast, location and price (~250 AUD per night for a family room with free airport transfer included!) more than make up for the fact that the hotel is dated. My family and I enjoyed the 2 nights we stayed at Kuta Paradiso. It is only 10 mins away from the international airport, with many eateries (highly recommend Temple by Ginger Moon!), a market with well priced souvenirs and Waterbom within walking distance.
WiFi wasn't the best, but that helped to keep the kids off their phones ;)

The staff are amazing and very friendly.
Some parts of the actual building is in need of some repair.

Property very traditional Balinese. Centrally located to most things.
Great restaurants that you can charge back to your room.
Next door to Kuta Markets which are in a large 3 storey building.
It would have been nice if they had power points with USB plugs!

All the staff were extremely polite and friendly. The location is good. The breakfast is very good.
There was no one to pick me up from the airport even though I was promised a free pickup. The pick up finally arrived after multiple phone calls and half an hour wait.

The pools and the beach bar are great, good location, they have complimentary, pickup and drop from the airport, the breakfast was good.
Room lights were hit and miss, some visible wear and tear nothing too major.

Room is bit old . But it doesn’t really worried me .

Good variety for breakfast. The room as a great size and the bed comfortable. Staff were helpful and always nice.
I was disappointed in the upkeep of the building . I did not feel it was 5 star it was looking a bit shabby.

The staff were so nice and friendly. Our room was cleaned everyday. The hotel was well looked after. I loved being at the hotel.
Strawberry crush cocktails were a treat by the pool. Our favourite place at the hotel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially on our last night. Our flight back to Perth was delayed and so we extended our stay. The staff were very accommodating in our request to extend for one more night.
We observed that many of the other 5 star hotels had a security guard do a bomb check for all vehicles that entered the hotel premises, but this hotel did not have this carried out.

Location breakfast lobby
For a 5 star was poor we had a deluxe pool view room and could only see tiny bit of the pool we were looking over tin roof. Rooms smelt musty and mouldy but lucky we only had 2 nights

Large room, good airconditioning
A little dated, could do with new curtains

The breakfast was pretty ordinary to the point where we just skipped breakfast for the last few days as we were not interested with what was on offer
My initial room was very dull and not very clean

not a lot…. I was so disappointed with our stay.
1) I booked a twin share room with a balcony with an ocean view well in advance. on check in , they were “fully booked” and had to swap us to a different room - they gave us a family room with a city view (dilapidated rooftops).
2) the bathroom was in desperate need of a deep clean. the corners had dirty build up, the shower taps looked held together with super glue, many of the chrome fittings were corroded, the lighting at the sides of the mirrors were caked in dust.
3) the balcony had no shelter or roofing. we had rain unfortunately and there was an inch of water on the balcony. completely unusable. even if the weather was sunny we would have had no shade at all.
4) the sliding door channels allowed water to build up inside the room. the walls had damp bubbling the paint on most of the surfaces. the corners of the room also had not had a deep clean in a while and mould was visible.
5) room service - attempted. phone did not work. fail.
6) don’t expect internal dinner destinations, nothing open when we arrived at 9pm on a Friday evening after a long day in transit. had to brave the rain (no umbrellas offered) to find somewhere to eat outside. also no day spa within the hotel.
7) the mattresses were TIRED and in desperate need of an upgrade.
8) the air conditioning control was broken so it was either arctic or we switched it off all together
considering this was touted as a 5 star resort destination I think there is a desperate need for review. I would give 3 stars at a push.
