It is a beautiful property in the middle of the jungle. The gardens were really well designed and maintained , just like a fairytale. The rooms all very secluded and the views amazing every way you look. The staff all very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are beautifully designed and bedding spotless.
The pool is stunning - just as the photos show.
There were ants in one of our rooms which weren’t attended to and we had a tokay gecko in the other. Reported on the first night but only on attempt was made to remove it. Therefore had very little sleep.
Some of the wooden parts of the hotel such as decking and doors are ageing and could do with repair. They ran out of wine on second night and didn’t get any more supplies in. We only wanted a bottle with dinner.

The view and property location is amazingly, staff is very kind and helpful
It’s in nature, which calls for all sorts of insects and lizards living around. They could do some basis maintenance, ensure honeybee’s and lizards are not around so it safe and hygienic. Room lighting needs improvement.

The staff were wonderful and the treatment was very classy and kind. The place is imaginative, beautiful and romantic, suitable for those looking for a change and away from the noise of the city.
There is no telephone in the rooms connected to the reception.

Me and my wife loved the location. After spending the first few days of our honeymoon in Denpasar this was a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Very relaxing atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
Location is a lil out of the way. Depending on how you look at it that can be a pro or con.

All thinks
The bathroom open to the jungle its better to close

Amazing location, beautiful villas , very friendly staff
Villas need renovation, eg. opening windows, mosquito nets need washing, food should have home made sauces not ketchup or from plastic bottles

Very balinese styled villas! love the view from villa

The hotel itself was amazing, we got the suite with rice field view because it was the upper level so the view was unbelievable, and we had an outside bathroom with an amazing bath surrounded with forest elements. The infinite pool was incredible even though we barely had sun.
Breakfast was delicious, they give a plate of fresh fruits and then you can choose from a variety of things. Always had an amazing watermelon juice with it.
Lastly, the fresh juices were out of this world!!
Totally worth it.
Food in the restaurant was good but portions not so great and quite spicy. And since the hotel is in the middle of the jungle, there were no options close by or anything to do (but was fine for us bc we chose it specifically to rest and relax).
Also there is always a lot of bugs while you eat which is ”understandable” since its in the middle of the forest.

The view and the location is awesome.
The services and the restaurant are horrible bad and vers expensive.
You can only buy small waters from them AND we figured out that these small glass bottles were used several times, the safety seal in almost every bottle were opened. Our villa was not in good shape, during the night birds came in our our and stole the tissues from the bathroom, we laughed about it because its funny and nice, but on the other hand the birds also pooped to the floor. We stayed two nights here, they forget the cleaning. Ordered an ice coffe then gave me an americano. In the afternoon they had no milk in the bar. The sunbeds were extremely dirty, the towels were smelly and I could list more. During our holiday we stayed in 5 other places in Bali, it was the most expensive and maybe the worst.

As soon as we arrived at the hotel, we were in awe, the stone path through the jungle and ponds leads to the hotel restaurant and the famous pool. The staff was 10/10 very friendly guys who helped us with the suitcases.
We lived in a villa with a private pool and it was amazing: the first time I saw a bath, which is located in a fish pond and surrounded by jungle, it's just incredible.
A couple of times we had problems: once the phone rang due to a breakdown and another huge insect sat on the canopy. Manager Su helped to solve all the problems as quickly as possible. He is just a wonderful and very responsive guy.
The pool is clean and beautiful. I think that the place is definitely unparalleled. The complex itself is small and made very intimately. Almost always we swam in the pool alone. It was cool!

Private pool with stunning view to the rice terrace
Breakfast options were very limited. The worst part was our room (Utari) is just three meters away from a local farmer’s hut. Apparently he had some disagreements with the hotel and took it on us. He blasted very loud music at around 5am. Reported to the security but they couldn’t do anything. Staff was nice enough to offer us to switch room, however the other available rooms would be a downgrade for us and they didn’t offer any compensation.

The location is in the middle of nowhere in the jungle. This has also some negative aspects to it but if you are looking for something like that you will exactly get what you want.
The view from the poolside is outstanding. Nothing to complain here.
Personell was friendly although some of the personell speak only just a bit english which makes communication sometimes a bit harder than it should be.
We have seen some reviews complaining about insects in the room and especially bathroom. We are in the jungle so, these things can happen. Overall, we were happy with the bathroom, especially the shower.
Unfortunately, there are a few things to be mentioned which go in line with several other reviews we have seen.
When we arrived nobody was there at the reception. Although we did not have to wait long (like 10 min.) the first impression was already a bit weird.
As mentioned, the hotel is far away from evertyhing else (40 min. To the north from Ubud). For our last days on Bali this was exactly what we were looking for. However, if you are having a hotel concept like that you should assure that the guest have everything they need. In terms of food I have to say that we were completely disappointed.
The Restaurant is a complete mess. As there are no alternatives around you are almost forced to eat there. It was the most expensive and on the same time also the worst meal we have had during our whole trip to Indonesia. In general, the restaurants appears very high-end and fancy online which it is not, definately. Also please keep in mind that there are barely no vegetarian or vegan options available. We have ordered a curry and a pizza which both didn't deserve their names. The pizza was basically just thin dough with tons of ketchup, served with - you are guessing correctly - even more ketchup. At least we did not get the famous "Bali Belly" from it. While waiting for food and also while being in our room (we had the suite above the kitchen) we heard microwave sounds all the time. Also, the actual gross prices are a lot different from the gross prices you are shown on the menu that is placed in your room. Again, very weird. We definately would recommend to order dinner via the Grab app. There are several great restaurants in Ubud that deliver to the hotel. Sometimes the drivers will ask you for an additional tip for driving all the way to the hotel but in the end you will still pay less than in the 'restaurant'.
Breakfast is included and is much better. Although being still not good you will come along with it.

We liked its view.
Ants are on the bed, either super hot or cold water in the shower, the canope bug net smelled weird, bugs are in the room.

The staff was also very nice and kind, especially the woman Komang.
all okay

This property has it all, a great location, clean and comfortable, terrific food and best of all is the service. Our first impression was from reception, Komang was helpful, generous with her time and at all times very professional. After leading us through a tropical path over Koi ponds we arrived at or luxurious villa, complete with private pool, outdoor shower and a view to remember. then it was to the restaurant, the service provided by Suwita would be the envy of any five star establishment. The chef made himself known and the food was delicious, the coconut prawns were exquisite.
when we return to this magnificent island, this will be our first choice every time.
There really is nothing we did not like. The only thing might be a table and chairs near the villa pool.

The staff were lovely and helpful. The view was amazing, and the breakfast was good in general.
It was our honeymoon, unfortunately, we had an awful experience with rats in our private villa. One of the rats fell from the ceiling to the bed!! It was a horrible experience for me but if you're comfortable with rats, lizards, and frogs, it will be a great place for you :) If you're staying in the middle of a jungle, being with animals is soo normal. However, the cleanliness of a hotel is vital for customers. I can easily say that the hotel was not clean, we had to change our hotel! Luckily the manager gave us a refund for one night.

1.0
The view.
The pool is clean and really enjoyable.
It is actually the only good part of our stay.
Let me explain below.
We are so so so disappointed…
We booked the villa with private pool for 2 nights.
At first, it really feels like we are in an amazing place with this stunning view in the middle of the jungle.
But then we have seen a lot of stains on the bedsheets, on the curtains, on the deck chairs, mosquito net as well. Everything looks old and need to be changed.
We told to the manager twice. We told him that the bedsheets are not clean and do not smell good. They changed them once. I checked again after. The bedsheets were cleaner but still… we can see stains and stink.
The manager said that he will see with his crew but then? nothing, no news.
It is okay to have many insects in the room because we are in the jungle : gecko mosquitos ants spiders etc. but dirty bedsheets ? How come ?
It is just not possible for a 4* hotel that the price is more than 150€/night.
Before our check out, we wanted the manager to come to our villa and show him all the details. He was not at the hotel.
The staff kept saying “just wait one minute” We waited for him… 45 minutes… and not even an apology. Just a “thank you for giving me feedback. Please send me the pictures of your room that I can see the problem”
Really ?
It is my first writing a negative review but I want the hotel to be fair to their future clients because the expectations vs reality are so different ! We were not comfortable in the room at all. Just wanted to leave and I hope that they will start to make huge changes in their management because the hotel has the potential to be perfect.
I feel like we have been catfished by the pictures provided on the booking website…
It is so sad that you feel better outside the room you have booked, trust me.
Please stop using the microwave for the food.
Please improve just a little bit the English of the staff otherwise it is really complicated for you to communicate with clients.
Please use the money that we paid to buy new bedsheets, deckchairs etc.

Dirty bed sheets twice and when they were changed for the third time it smelt of damp. No towels until we asked for them and no hot water with the shower.
My fiancé complained to the manager and he said he would sort this but all they did was change them for equally dirty sheets.
We would’ve complained again but my fiancé ended up being quite ill in hospital.
Our friends who stayed had an upper room which cost a £5/10 more (none of these were available for us when we were booking) seemed to have a different room experience.
The food was not very pleasant so I wouldn’t recommend eating in the restaurant.
When I tried to ask questions and queries regarding the hotel and services on WhatsApp, nobody responded or acknowledged these messages.
At one point I can imagine this hotel being stunning but it appears to have just been left so everything feels a little run down. I do feel like you are cat-fished on booking.com.
Overall we were very disappointed. We have stayed at over five different hotels in our month in Bali and this is by far the worst!

Staff were friendly, nice view from pool area (but not unique to this hotel), hotel and staff have potential
We were very disappointed with our stay here. This was the most expensive hotel we booked during our 3 week stay in Bali and it was such a shock when we arrived.
Unfortunately you can see the impact that 2 years of Covid had. The whole place feels abandoned and neglected. Our room felt as if no one has stayed in it or cleaned it in 2 years. Not only are there cobwebs everywhere, but the bed was covered in ants and other insects or insect dirt.
The pictures of the bathroom and bathtub look amazing online, but it's not cleaned (our tub was filled with branches, leaves, frogs, ants, other insects etc).
Our bathtub was "cleaned" (leaves wiped out of it) after our SECOND night only. That was also the first time we have been given bottled water in our room.
We were given a welcome drink and snack (which was nice), but those dishes were on the communal balcony for more than 24h (attracting more insects). On the way down to the pool/restaurant, there was what looked like dropped food for over a day before the stairs were cleaned.
The shower stays hot/warm for 5 minutes max and then it gets cold. Once during our stay there was no running water for sink/toilet/shower.
There is a minibar menu on top of the fridge but the only items in our mini bar were two cans of Sprite.
Even though there seems to be several staff members around but we could never find anyone when we needed something. Another reason why the place feel abandoned.
Whist the walk from the car park/reception looks lovely, it's quite a treck and you have to carry your suitcases all the way.
At breakfast on our last day they asked when we wanted to check out, told them at 11am. No one came to help with our bags. Couldn't find anyone either to help. When we got to the top the staff member was surprised to see us carrying our own bags and surprised that we were there to check out.

We picked this place to relax in a peaceful remote location for a few days and were not disappointed! This place in the jungle is paradise.
The staff, Adi in particular, were very helpful and kind each time we needed transportation or anything.
Thank you for the amazing experience!
Like anywhere else in Bali, there are roosters, bring your earplugs!
