Perfect two night beach stop on a holiday spent travelling throughout Sicily. Wonderfully relaxing.

The hotel is in an exceptional location. 5 min downhill walk from the train station and right on the promenade at a fantastic beach. It's only a three or four minute walk into the gorgeous old town where you'll find any number lovely restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I'd actually booked for the wrong night but this was handled superbly and turned out for the best as I ended up staying two nights instead of the single night I'd planned. The interior of the hotel is cool and welcoming and exudes quiet laid back efficiency with particular praise for the reception staff.

I really find it very difficult to fault the hotel. It had everything one would expect and perfectly compliments the town of Cefalu itself.

Great Location for exploring Cefalu and the beach

The hotel is right next to the beach with a pool at a neighbouring bar that you get access to. Breakfast was nice and the staff were lovely. The room was large if a little dated. Comfortable hotel, the location is what you are paying for.

We enjoyed our stay at the Villa Gaia and Cefalu so much that we didn't want to leave.

Everything. Excellent location, lovely spacious room and bathroom ( decor a little dated perhaps but that doesn't bother me), very comfortable bed. Very good breakfast. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Free beach club was a great bonus. Would definitely recommend.

A small table on the balcony would have been useful.

Old hotel well kept right on the beach. It advertised that it included the beach chair but it was not in from to of the hotel but several blocks away. Beach was small and crowded but the water was excellent. Staff was very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Parking lot was included.

We had a very good short stay in Villa Gaia. It is close to Cefalu old town and about 50 meters from the beach. The personnel was very kind and wellcoming. The breakfast was also very good. The hotel offers a huge parking lot for free.

Top Location, close to the Center of Cefalu - 5 min walk

We were first given room #4 on the first floor. We were so tired from 20 km walking during the day and wanted just to sleep as soon as we arrived. There was a loud noise to hear from outside. It was the external unit of an air condition, 1 m away from our window. We did not use the A/C in our room at all. The receptionist tried to explain to us that this is normal, but we refused to agree with her statement. So, we were offered to sleep in room #2, which was bigger and better. This was the only acceptable option, and we are happy she took the decision quickly. We did not understand why she gave us the only room with the noise problem when the other rooms were not occupied as well. On the next day, we wanted to have a short walk around after breakfast and check out before 11. When we went back to our room, we were shocked to find both the main door and balcon door open with all our belongings around. First floor 🤨 Wow !!! The maid was doing the room next to our room. And finally we asked for an invoice and we did not become one. They said that the booking was made as a leisure trip and this is the only reason they can not issue us an invoice. Sorry, but .....No !

Perfect spot to visit Cefalu.

The staff were friendly and able to communicate English was fantastic. The free parking available for the hotel was a must as the location is congested with visitors. The location was even great as we were looking for that is close to the center, close to the beach and restaurants and able to walk La Rocca was amazing. The breakfast was also amazing that meets our expectations. Internet was working as well so everything was great. We will comeback again and we hope that the price will still be affordable and looking forward to use their pool. THANK you to the staff.

Amazing place

The rooms were clean, the breakfast was good, its 10 minutes walking to the center. The hotel gave us cards for free entering for the beach. The staffs were kind, Valentina help us a lot. Perfect place

Perfect location

It was so close to the old town but also not too much in the thick of it. There is a great cocktail bar opposite as well.

There was no wifi which is unusual for 2021 The breakfast really let it down, it is supposedly a 4* so you would expect more but it was well below average It was fairly noisy. We could hear neighbouring rooms toilet flush and shutters opening which as a light sleeper was a disruption

Clean, comfortable, excellent location

The room was spacious, the location is perfect. It’s a 2 min walk to the beach, the hotel gives free access to a beach club (which also has a pool) very close by. The bar in front of the hotel has the best cocktails.

Some of the reception staff couldn’t communicate in English, and as we can’t speak Italien it was a little difficult at the check-in.
