Einfach nur schlecht

Das Personal war ganz nett

Das war mit Abstand das mieseste Resort was ich je in Thailand gesehen habe, keine Ahnung warum es 8,3 als Bewertungen hat. Alles dreckig und total heruntergekommen. Der Strand ist ein Witz und der Pool war nicht zu benutzen da braunes dreckiges Wasser. Die Liegen gammelig und der ganze Poolbereich ist einfach ranzig. Schimmel in der Dusche und die gesamte Einrichtung ist komplett heruntergekommen. Sorry aber das geht so einfach gar nicht.

As the name says "Sweet scented" stay

The quiet environment is one of the main reasons we have always booked Homm Chura Samui. Lush greeneries surround the resort. The beach is just few seconds away from the pool view. And around the hotel, you have a few restaurants and some vendors providing water sports activities. The staff are friendly and will assist you as much as possible. - Breakfast: This is our 5th time in this resort over five years. The breakfast hasn't changed much however, you have a variety of cuisine, ranging from just a bowl of cereal, continental or American breakfast to Asian cuisine. - Lunch and Dinner: We skipped both lunch and dinner.

I would not go as far as what I didn't like. I would say a few things could be improved in terms of service recovery and customer service. Unfortunately, during our stay, the pool was inoperative for two days. During this time, people who were lying at the pool were not able to take a swim in it. In such unfortunate circumstances, service recovery is a must, and the staff should have been more proactive in taking care of the guests of the hotel. They should have provided us with refreshing towels and complimentary refreshing drinks (they did on one of the days but just one glass throughout the whole day). If I'm not mistaken, they were provided a few years back during our first stay.

Très déçu et certainement pas un 4 étoiles.

La situation géographique.

La taille des chambres d'à peine 25 m2 (très peu de place autour du lit) et très loin des 44 m2 annoncés, ou alors il faut compter la terrasse ou le balcon qui prend presque la moitié de la surface. La vétusté des lieux. Les serviettes de plages qui pour certaines, tombent en lambeau. Le petit déjeuné avec peu de choix. La grosse toile d'araignée dans le salle de bain qui était là bien avant nous et y sera certainement encore longtemps après nous. Le titre ronflant de " a brand of Banyan Group" qui laisse à penser que l'on va se retrouver dans un établissement luxueux, ce qui n'est pas du tout le cas. Heureusement, le personnel est adorable et cela compense un peu le reste.

Ett trevligt hotell nära havet med många trappor.

Trevlig personal. Bra pool. Nära till havet. En härlig strand. Bra frukost. Bra vattentryck i duschen.

Ganska långt till centrum. Vi bodde i ett parhus. Detta parhus hade möjlighet till att öppna upp mellan husen med en dörr, som naturligtvis var låst från båda håll. Men problemet var att denna lösning gjorde att det blev väldigt lyhört. Det visade också sig att våra grannar rökade i sin del, vilket innebar att röken kom in till oss. Inte alls så trevligt. Speciellt inte på natten när man försöker att sova. Vi blev heller aldrig riktigt överens med kylanläggningen. Om man har problem att gå i trappor så är detta hotellet inte ett alternativ. Det fanns många trappor och ingen hiss.

רבע שעה הליכה למרכז העיינינים , היה לנו אופנוע דרך המלון אז למי שאין בעייה לנהוג זה בסדר המרחק בריכה לא הכי ואוו והחוף לא נגיש בכלל

Great location right on the beach.

Great location by the beach and about a 30minute walk from the town centre. Breakfast options were good.

There’s no lift so made manoeuvring luggage difficult, but staff were always happy to help. Also the brushed concrete flooring in the rooms would leave belongings dusty.

Gerne wieder

Perfekte ruhige Lage! Super Bungalow mit genügend Platz, Outdoor Bad ist immer etwas spezielles und toll. Frühstück ausreichend. Pool sauber und immer ein Platz frei, wer die Getränke und Essen günstiger will geht beim Strand einfach 10 Meter nach rechts in ein wunderbares Familien geführtes „Lokal“.

Bien placé, un hôtel avec un rapport qualité prix qui pourrait être amélioré car les équipements sont passables.

Les chambres sont très spacieuses et la literie confortable. Le petit déjeuner offre une bonne variété.

Les équipements sont dans un état passable (Clim, douche, etc). Les équipements communs sont très modestes (piscine petite et peu profonde, salle de fitness très petite avec une seul machine par type…). Le petit déjeuner est offert avec des produits de qualité médiane.

- Poolbereich leider nicht gepflegt und sehr dreckig - Es roch nach Abfluss / Gulli am Pool - Strandabschnitt nicht zum schwimmen geeignet - Handtücher am Pool waren schon total ausgefranst

Absolutely wonderful stay

Great stay at HoMM Chura, I stayed for 3 nights upon arrival in Thailand before exploring the other islands. It’s not far from the airport but far enough not to be disturbed by the noise, it’s also not far from chaweng centre but also again far enough to be away from the hustle there, yet you can walk there in about 10 mins. The location was perfect, and also right on the beach with a pool overlooking the beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast menu very good, with fresh fruits and a chef making omelettes/eggs. My room was big and good airco. The style is earthy which I really liked. I’ll def stay again when in Samui next time!

Value, staff and location is perfect.

This was our 4th time at Chura Samui and the reason we keep going back is value location and staff.

Happy Hour could have a better selection but all was good. Also the Gym needs a huge upgrade but apparently the resort will be going through a major overhaul so hopefully this will be addressed.

Schönes Hotel - Personal sehr viel zu lernen

Das Zimmer war schön und die riesen Badewanne war sehr gemütlich. Auch der Garten ist schön. Die Lage ist ruhig und man ist in ca 20min zu Fuss an der belebten Strasse am Chaweng Beach.

Das Personal war sehr chaotisch beim Frühstück. Die warmen Gerichte waren immer die gleichen und nie richtig angeschrieben. Das Essen sowie auch die Früchte wurden nie aufgefüllt. Die Gäste, die später gefrühstückt haben, hatten sozusagen nicht mehr alles zur Verfügung. Man hat uns wegen einer kaputten Glas-Wasserflasche zusätzliche 20 Bath verrechnet, obwohl wir genug für das Hotel bezahlt haben und noch 200 Bath für die Haushälterin dagelassen hatten. Kein gastfreunfliches Vorgehen für ein Luxushotel.

Overall, nice hotel.

The staff were incredibly helpful and nice. The bed was very comfortable and the location was great too.

Mooi resort, maar mist toch wow factor

Mooie omgeving. Kamer was redelijk formaat. Was netjes. De vloer kon wel schoner. Personeel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt was heel goed en erg gevarieerd.

De trappen. Trappen naar je kamer en trappen naar de receptie.

Navidades debajo de un cocotero en un entorno idílico.

Cerca de las calles principales de ocio pero lo suficientemente tranquilo para descansar y que no haya ningún ruido. La piscina genial q pie de playa y el personal muy atento. El día de mi cumpleaños me decoraron la cama por sorpresa con adornos y felicitaciones. Muy recomendable!

Great stay, would recommend for a quiet setting

Location was just at the end of a busy ‘strip’ all walkable but we got a moped from reception. Staff organised a lot of trips for us, all very easy and extra helpful. Room was comfy and spacious, nice rustic bathroom. Good variation for breakfast.

Not the hotels fault but we did have a problem with mosquitoes in the room and got bitten a lot.

Good stay for a week.

Nice pool above the beach. Good sized room. Good buffet breakfast. Liked the location.

The shower is open and the floor get wet and stays humid, which attracts mosquitoes

Fantastisch!

Ik had het verblijf voor 5 dagen geboekt omdat ik doorging naar Koh Tao , maar ik ben uiteindelijk teruggereisd vanwege het fantastische personeel. Deze mensen weten wat service is! Ze zijn attent en doen echt alles om het naar je zin te maken. Daarnaast is de Japanse stijl van het resort prachtig. Personeel is constant bezig om het terrein schoon te houden en bij te werken.

Niks, het was een heerlijk ontspannen verblijf!

Very beautiful and close to city, only 19 minutes walk

At check out nobody helped us carrying with the lugage, it was hard walking all those stairs and in the sand. Service could improve. Also food and cocktails were not that great

Lovely staff, beautiful kind of traditional hotel. Felt like being in the jungle and on the beach at the same time. Rooms were wonderful, absolutely worth paying for a Seaview room which also leaves you right by the pool.

I loved the outdoor bathroom. Secluded and beautifully done but did lead to lots of mosquitos bites in the morning and evening

Family Holiday

The staff were all lovely. The pool area was great - right on the beach. The breakfast was really good - lots of variety. A little far out of town, but this could be a positive, as away from the noise.

The beach wasn't great here - you need to walk a little way down to get into the sea.
