Bathroom counter had toothpaste on it still, otherwise everything was super clean and wasn't too worried just gave it a quick clean

Being away from the main areas of shops and food but a great area for rest and a getaway from people. Rooms were well sound insulated so much so that a wedding party was not an issue at all.
The beds were only ok... must say that there were great sheets, linen and toiletries though.

Nicely positioned property in a quiet and leafy location. Large well appointed room with a comfortable bed, a small bench kitchen, a very functional bathroom and an onsite laundry. We will certainly book again if we are in the area.
It would be very helpful to have basic breakfast items available in the room.

The property is beautiful and feels like you are in the country when you’re only 5 minutes from town. It was clean, comfortable, warm and inviting.
The staff were awesome! We arrived after hours and were greeted with kindness and understanding. All the day time staff were polite, helpful and friendly
That we had to leave!!

The unit was clean and comfortable. Rainbow provides a warm welcome.
Stormy night, some items rattled in the wind.

I really enjoyed the view of the place as well as outside my room. The staff their were cooperative and kind. Their service were great. The room was clean and the bathtub/spa was my favourite :)
The parking was awkward because my parking spot seemed fitted for a motorcycle. Apart from that, everything else was great.

This was our second overnight stay here. The first night I called at 5pm desperate for a room for my mother and one for my husband, myself, and our two children. They had two rooms for us that were absolutely gorgeous. We arrived at 6.30 tired from packing up our house and Rainbow was an absolute delight. She was so friendly and welcoming. The landscape is stunning with immaculate gardens. It felt like a beautiful retreat before we drove 12 hours the next day. A few weeks later my husband and I had to drive to Wellington for a night and immediately booked in here. The rooms are beautiful and spacious with gorgeous garden views. You feel incredibly private and it is so quiet. There are great facilities in the rooms with cooktop, kettle, plunger, teapot all provided and toasters on request. The TV was set up with TVNZ on demand and Netflix.
We intend to stay here each time we are back in Wellington and can't wait to have a bit more time there in future to relax in the beautiful setting.
If I'm very fussy the car parks are quite narrow but there are ample carparks so you're never stuck.

perfect location for our trail run event nearby. staff were super helpful when we arrived late to make sure we could get access to our room. Beautiful grounds.
Noise travelled from the upstairs units to our room but nothing overly annoying.

So peaceful and quiet , beautiful pace

A large and nicely furnished room with a nice view in an exactly as nice looking house.
As the name suggests, a car is almost necessary. The walk into town takes a bit of time and is on streets without lights and boardwalks.

Beautiful property with great sized rooms, feels remote however so close to city center
the noise what you hear from other rooms- even simple chats can be heard. so improvement on sound insulation would be incredible

Location and clean rooms
Our stay coincided with a wedding party so the location of our room was with the guests who were a little noisy all night. However when we mentioned this to the management they we’re great and moved our room to a quieter location. All great the next night. Manager was very accommodating and helpful.
